We had large spacious king room up the outside stairs. Breakfast was very good but bread needed a bit of refreshing by the 2nd day. innkeeper will cook a hot breakfast for $5 each which was satisfactory. But in general the place is very nice and I highly recommend if you don't mind walking into town.

Could not have been more pleased with the High St Inn! Joanna was so welcoming, always pleasant and eager to do anything she could to make our stay a great one. Located within easy walking distance of town. The room was clean with all the necessary amenities and the continental breakfast was very good. I would absolutely recommend this B&B... More

Clean accommodations. Wasn't thrilled by the beds, I didn't find them comfortable. Very convenient for driving the Cabot Trail and for walking to the evening Ceilidh. I think the innkeeper was having a bad morning she seemed to be a bit scattered and the breakfast was only average. Charged extra for bacon and eggs, which came to our family of... More

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that you didn't sleep well as it truly surprises me about the bed. That is one thing our guests seem to comment on the most as having such comfortable beds. If you could send us an email or call us to let us know which room you had so we can correct this... More

We stayed here for one night in July 2016. All four of us were impressed with how clean and comfortable the room was, and how homey it felt. We had been traveling for nearly a week at this point, and this was the nicest place we had stayed yet. The hosts were very welcoming. We were also pleasantly surprised with... More

Excellent location within walking distance to several restaurants and entertainment. Close proximity to the Alexander Graham National Historic Site, well worth the visit! Friendly staff and good continental breakfast.

We stayed here as it is conveniently located for exploring the Cabot Trail as well as Louisbourg. The room was large and clean. Sue was an excellent host and gave us many tips on what to see. The breakfast was very good and we would recommend this place as a very good B&B.

We stayed in Suite #3 for 4 nights in October 2015. It was a large bright room with a view of Bras d'Or Lake and a very comfortable king bed. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast in the kitchen which was just like our Grandma's... so warm and welcoming. Sue and Al were great hosts and lovely to talk... More

This B&B is conveniently located at the entrance to Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. The units are very comfortable and the BREAKFASTS make eating again before 6pm redundant! Our hosts are more then congenial they make you a part of the family!! The Manitoba Hills

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at the High Street Inn. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and clean. Breakfasts were very good. We loved our hosts - they were very hospitable and wonderful people. Many restaurants are a short 10 minute walk down the hill. Everything is pretty close in Baddeck.

My brother and I stayed for 3 days in August while on a motorcycle trip to Nova Scotia to ride the Cabot Trail. The room was clean, large, air conditioned, and comfortable. Sue, the manager, was very friendly and helpful with recommendations regarding Baddeck. And the breakfasts were excellent. Highly recommended.
