Not much to say, really. We needed a place to stay before we caught the ferry and this fit the bill. There was nothing bad about the place; it's just a place to stay with an average restaurant and average rooms. A little tired in decor. But it fit the bill and we sailed away the next morning.

The hotel is very comfortable for being where it is and the limited options available. We stayed for two nights because our Ferry was cancelled. Staff was friendly and accommodations were comfortable. Nothing special and the hotel is a bit dated, but it served its purpose. I will mention the walls were paper thin and we could hear everything from...

This is a good place to stay, very convenient to the ferry terminal. Staff where very polite. Rooms where comfortable if a bit dated. There is not much to choose from in this area and I would have no issue staying here again if I am ever in the area again.

Stayed in this hotel when we arrived in Newfoundland and when we left Newfoundland. Rooms were clean and bright. Staff were very friendly both at the front desk and in the restaurant. Food in the restaurant was very good and prices were reasonable. Would definitely stay here again

We stayed at Hotel Port Aux Basque the night before a ferry crossing. Booked online at the tourist information centre and received the bed & breakfast special. The room is very comfortable and clean. There was a bar fridge, microwave and large screen tv. The room had a double bed room with a lounge chair. Four of us ate in...

Ate at the restaurant before ferry crossing. The seafood chowder was good. The batter on the cod one of the best i have ever had. Very lightly breaded. The service was fast. We were the only ones there however noticed it was filling up when we left as the ferry had landed and people were checking in.

Very convenient hotel for pre and post ferry trips. Staff are all very pleasant. Rooms are small but very comfortable and come with a fridge and coffee maker. A microwave is available in the lobby. Internet worked very well. Enjoyed an evening in the bar. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed at Hotel Port-aux-Basques while arriving in Newfoundland off the ferry. The rooms are dated but still in good order...it's an older hotel so there's only so much you can do without it losing its charm! There is no elevator but the stairs are well built and comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic and very good value for the money....

Tiny room, but very clean and nice. There was even a fridge! No problem getting more towels. Beds comfortable. Some room to room noise especially in the bathroom. Restaurant at the hotel was good, a bit expensive. Menu was quite varied with some exotic items on the menu.

Friendly staff member greeted us upon check in. Room was nothing exceptional - just a room with beds. Everything was clean. We were missing some towels and they were brought right up. I'll say the woman working the desk was multi-tasking, and doing it in a friendly way. She is a keeper and I hope she is appreciated. Lots of...
