We were relocating to BC from NL with our whole family and got stuck when the ferry was delayed due to wind. They are pet friendly which was a huge relief as we were traveling with three cats, one rabbit and a Great Dane. The room was incredibly small, especially with all those animals but our room did have 2... More

Thank you for your comments. St. Christopher’s Hotel offers the only Pet- Friendly hotel in the area, we were happy to accommodate your family and pets. While hotels do not have direct access to the outside, the pet friendly wing of the hotel has an exterior entrance in the stairwell right of that wing. Glad you enjoyed the dining room... More

Only a five minute drive to the ferry terminal. The front desk staff were nice. Nothing fancy, very plain. The rooms and bathrooms could use a major facelift. There is a beautiful view of the harbour though.

My husband and I stayed last night at St Christoper's Hotel, Port aux Basques before boarding the ferry to Nova Scotia this morning. I had booked the hotel online and go a wonderful rate of $105 per night for seniors. This rate included a free welcome drink each and full breakfast. The rooms were spacious and uptodate. Only thing missing... More

We spent 3 weeks touring Maritimes and this is the only place we stayed at that I would avoid. The rooms are old and in need of a serious update. The only bright spot was breakfast. Avoid. There are far more interesting places to stay within an hours drive of the ferry terminal. This place also seems to be a... More

Rang bell for over 5 minutes for someone to come to the registration desk. she was helping in the kitchen. Room was fine, but no decaf and only one cup. Went to bar for appies - the one staff member who attended registration desk, helping kitchen staff, was also the bar staff - in a separate room. Jeez? Anyway ordered... More

Overnighted here for the ferry the next day. The hotel pretty much overlooks the ferry terminal. No complaints - pleasant stay at good price even more considering the free breakfast and drinks the night before. Would stay here again

St christopher's hotel is a standard hotel where you expect standardized amenities. it may be the biggest hotel in town. I am happy to stay here in a small town. we hailed our own baggage which is fine with us. The room is clean, the bathroom is rather small for standard room. the happiest part is that the hotel is... Short drive from the ferry terminal; this was my second time staying at the St. Christopher. This is a nice property, very friendly staff. Good value for the money. The rooms are very comfortable, as are the beds and pillows. Nice mini fridge to keep cooler items cold. Restaurant on the property. Nice views from the window; we were on... More

Very near the ferry terminal in town. Located on the top of the hill over looking the harbour. The room was large and had a fridge. The beds were extremely comfortable. Shower worked well. I recently stayed in the other choice for lodging and between the two I preferred this one. We had four in our room and were given... More

This hotel is located right across from the ferry terminal. The views from the rooms are quite pretty. The rooms are dated but very clean. The restaurant on site is underwhelming. The food is average and the service is slow. We found the front desk staff to be less than helpful too.
