When we arrived in St. Stephen early in the evening, we asked a local man if he knew where we could rent a hotel or motel room for the night. He immediately suggested the Scoodic Motel and gave us directions from the town centre. He mentioned that it was clean, that it was nearby, and that the owner was a... More

This was just what we wanted. The room was small, but well laid out and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere laid-back. Breakfast is included in the price. The motel's cat is named Heyyou. I'd definitely stay at Scoodic Motel again. We didn't use the wifi, but it was there. I think... More

Not much choice of accommodation at the border, so we stayed here. Owner very friendly. Room very tired and not particularly clean. Didn't use the shower as it looked grim. We would not hurry back, but we would stay again if no other option. Basic breakfast.

The hotel owner/manager (Jim) was extremely friendly and even waited late into the night since we reached only by around 11:00 PM. The room was cozy and good for an overnight stay. Wi-fi is good. Breakfast was fresh but limited in choices. The best part of the hotel/stay was the care and friendly gestures by Jim the Owner/Manager.

This motel is about five minutes from the border. The rooms are comfortable and reasonable. The owner and his staff take great pride in this establishment. The continental breakfast was a perfect touch before heading out the next morning. This is a great place to stay if you are catching a ferry to Grand Manan the next day or jusst... More

This was terrible! We couldn't even wash our hands, never mind shower! The water smelled like metal and was yellow. The beds were at least 30 years old and then Air Conditioner did nothing to cool the room, just made a lot of noise.

We needed a spot to sleep on our way to Nova Scotia and decided on St.Stephen, just over the US border. Scoodic was perfect! There were 6 of us traveling and we booked the chalet. The chalet had a separate bedroom, plus 2 queen beds in the main room. In addition, there was an adequate bathroom, kitchenette and seating. The... More

My wife & I stayed here in July for one night on our way to Nova Scotia, and although this is a small, older motel, the room was very clean, and the bed comfortable.. Included was a nice continental breakfast with juice, cereal, toast, coffee, etc. and a pleasant chat with the owner Jim Dunlap. Can't beat the Scoodic Motel for... More

Clean, cozy and comfortable. I would defiantly return when in the area. Water pressure was a little low but not a problem. Travelling with my husband. Room with two doubles offers plenty of room if travelling with a child. Not sure why trip advisor requires 200 character minimum to submit a report. If a place is clean and comfortable what... More
