We wanted to find a 1 night stay near the clear lake area but could not find any because all be lodges require a minimum of 2 nights stay. I filled out a request form on honeycomb's website asking if they do 1 night only. A quick reply from the owner said yes they are able to accommodate, so we... More

Thank you for your review, we appreciate it. We have safe n sound insulation through out the building compared to having zero when it was in the park. It's the best we could do to help with the sound. Other than that I am happy you enjoyed your stay. In the busy summer season we do require a 2 night... More

10 minutes away from Riding Mtn National Park. Large acreage with a huge deck overlooking a spectacular view. We took the sunset in one night, amazing colours! When you first walk into the house you get a sense of warmth and inviting from the décor. Wonderful and interesting pieces of furniture and antiques, spacious foyer. Our room was upstairs, about... As a former Onanole girl, I knew this Lodge when it was in the Park and to stay here in its restored state, was truly a treat! Cindy and Earl have done such a beautiful job and have filled it lovingly with antiques for us to admire. Breakfasts are filling and delicious. All the fine points of a top B&B... More

Thank you very much for your review, so happy you enjoyed your time here at the B&B as well as the park. Great suggestions, we had considered the pumps in the tub area as well as hairdryers. I do have a hair dryer available if someone needs one. Too bad you never mentioned that you needed one. Love to have... More

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and I so wish it could have been longer! Our hosts - Cindy and Earl could not have been more friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Cindy went out of her way to make certain special & very specific dietary needs were met. And she got it exactly correct! Our room was so... More

"Gracious" covers the entire experience. The owners welcomed us with warmth and charm. Entering the front door we were greeted with a feeling of relaxation and clean comfort. Antiques throughout added a touch of class and permanence although this was a completely remodeled+ relocated (!) hotel. The chef, who was excellent, sought to accommodate our preferences. We give this a... More

Thank you Judy, it was such a pleasure having you here. Look forward to your spring visit, just take note that there is no fishing in April so a good time to come and experience ice fishing would be the last part of March. The weather isn't to cold. Thank you for the wonderful review, we appreciate it. See you... More

Recently stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding in the area. Lovely clean, quiet, comfortable room with interesting decor. Each room is uniquely decorated with antique furniture, but has all the "mod cons"---modern bathroom and a comfy mattress. Breakfast was scrumptious, and our host Cindy personable and very considerate. Would highly recommend.

Quiet location and very close to Riding Mountain National Park. They are very accommodating and helpful. Nicely decorated. All the rooms have bathrooms. The rooms vary in size and some have refrigerators.

We chose this place simply because we were told they could make a gluten free breakfast for my husband. We chose wisely. The B&B is relatively new, and well-run. We ended up with a room with a double bed just because of our late booking, and we could have moved elsewhere for 2 of the 3 nights if we had... More

My wife and I spent the night on the 13th of August and stayed in room #4. The room was nicely appointed and the bed was fabulous. Cindy was a most gracious hostess. My wife had breakfast and said it was marvelous. We are looking forward to our next visit, perhaps in September.

I sense a great future for this new venture. We liked everything about it. The breakfast served by Joe was superb. We just plain liked it and would return. You do need a car as its not downtown or anything.
