A great stop between Stewart, BC & Prince George, BC. It is a nice gentle walk to the main street & the restaurants there. The room was very good & of a good size & the included breakfast cooked to order.

Stayed one night on a trip west to Pacific coast. They gave us double queen room at the back which was basically a bump out on the building. The heavy rain during the night was actually enjoyable with the sound on the roof. Excellent custom cooked breakfast in the morning included in the very reasonable room cost. The hotel seems... Hotel as advertised. Older with some electrical issues. Only one plug worked in the bedroom. It had multiple cords plugged in. This was the only one that worked in the room. two plugs did not work in the open closet area. furniture looked like it was from kmart. Breakfast was the highlight. Not recommended unless electrical can be fixed.

Arrived at the stork nest after driving for most of the day. We chose this hotel based on the comments from trip advisor site. We found it was clean, the staff were friendly. They provided cooked to order eggs and the best breakfast we have had so far in the mornings! We did find the room was very cramped to... More

We enjoyed staying here during a recent visit to Smithers. Very quiet location, which we enjoyed. They have a fantastic breakfast area where they serve a free full breakfast with eggs cooked to your specification. The hotel is an older one and shows its age somewhat but the owners have done a good job with a number of remodels. WIFI... More

Bathroom was a little small but all was very clean and charming, staff was outstanding. Location is on the main thoroughfare of the town across the street from the business area. Staff recommended a place to eat as it was after hours. Very nice.

The Stork Nest Inn is definitively very pretty and quaint. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was huge, but it did not have the advertised air conditioning feature. The WiFi was also extremely weak and we kept on getting kicked off. So WiFi - albeit advertised - did not work. The bathroom door was a sliding pocket door... More

We stayed here for one night in a queen room. Check in on arrival was fine but was disappointed with the room itself. Yes everywhere seemed clean but very dated and the whole place needs a make over. Breakfast in the morning was great with eggs cooked to order. Good location for restaurants.

The Stork Nest is a motel with character; separate and distinct from the rest. A cream colored building with green trim, a terra-cotta roof and storks nesting atop a chimney make it invitingly attractive. The rooms are welcoming, neat and clean. The staff are affable and accommodating making sure your stay is enjoyable. To its credit is a breakfast that... More

Comfy bed. Fresh linens, Spotless and well maintained. Very pleasant staff. In town but far enough off the highway to be quiet. Made-to-order breakfast. Good parking but large RVs and trailers will probably need to park on the gravel. On our repeat list.
