Hotel's Favorite
Excellent stay while on business in the area, traveling back from visiting family the week before. We had a very comfortable stay with excellent internet connectivity and my wife was particularly pleased that the TV channels included a property improvement programming. While the quality and cleanliness of the property and room were excellent, the rate does not include a breakfast.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and overall the hotel was what we expected, but beds were soft and uncomfortable. Both my wife and I had sore backs after three nights there. They could also do with cotton sheets on the beds.

when you walked in the front entrance the hotel was decorated perfectly for a Christmas atmosphere. Then you’re greeted with friendly workers. Easy check in and staff very friendly. In my room there was a free gift basket from the manger thanking me for staying at their hotel this time of year😀👍 This put me in a great Christmas mood.

Spent weekend here in mid December. Very friendly, clean hotel. Seemed a bit older but has been kept up well. Close to ski hill and all amenities. Would be perfect if pool/hot tub to enjoy after day of skiing.

I was greeted by wonderful, friendly staff upon my arrival to the Prestige in Smithers this month. With a blanket of snow on the ski hill in the distance, the property was well maintained and very clean on the inside. Measures' are still in place from Covid which i know means something to a ton of people. Check in was quick, my room was clean and modern and i love the fact once i am at the hotel there is no reason to leave unless you want to. Great food and beverage options available and vending machines for snacks if thats the way you want to go.

We stayed there Friday and Saturday night. Was supposed to stay Sunday but we checked out early. Problem Saturday night with someone pulling a fire alarm. They now have a sports bar on the property, there was a lot of noise in the halls and outside the bar, then the fire alarm , the front desk did step up and do the right thing for us, going forward if I stayed again I would ask to be as far away from bar area if you want a good nights sleep. Maybe they should have a chat with the lease holders of Don Cherry spirts bar and set some ground rules. Usually a good place to stay.

I have stayed at the Prestige many time over the last 10 years. Each time the experience has been very positive, notwithstanding the craziness of COVID the last three years. Now that "normal" times are back I once again expect to stay at the Prestige in 2023 while on business in the Buckley Valley and Smithers.

The room was very comfortable but our Room #206 was an adjoining room. I did let them know at check in and reservations they it was our 40th wedding Anniversary and they put us in an adjoining room. That evening while we were a sleep we were awakened by the sound of the shower which sounded like it was in our room. Then we could hear the television and banging around. I suggest that when you check a couple in that you should never give them a room next to an adjoining room. Otherwise our stay was not too bad 😎 Just a bit of customer service recommendations. Also our check in agent also checked two different customers at the same time so no personal service right there. September anniversary weekend❤️
