Garbage and beer box ( under the bed/ behind furniture) in the room when we checked in. The dark navy blue towels and broken door frames should have been a clue. Dirty and horrible customer service. Left by midnight because of cleanliness and bugs. Got charged for the room anyways with no refund.

We booked in with the Royal Reach for 2 nights as we were travelling in a large group for training (12 rooms) and they had the space. Upon getting to the hotel we noticed that it was quite dark and outdated but were not too turned off by the curb appeal. After checking in with the rude front desk person (who made us feel like we were putting him out by being there) we dispersed to our rooms. We all met up for dinner after checking in and shared our distaste for the place however we were willing to suck it up for the two nights. After dinner I began to get messages from everyone with pictures showing what they had found in their beds and under their beds. The pictures horrified me enough to look under my bed to find beef jerky, garbage and cigarette butts under my bed. One colleague had blood on his sheets, hair on his pillow and bed bugs on his mattress. By far this place has been the absolute worst place I have ever stayed at. The front desk agent saw the pictures and refused to refund us for both nights even though we all left at 11pm and didnt even stay at the hotel at all. Steer clear from this place unless you are the health inspector as it needs to be shut down asap. An absolute human health risk

We recently stayed one night as everything else was booked. It is a motel on the end of the inlet with a water view. However this motel is quite rundown and without proper locks on the doors. The bed was like cardboard and there was stains on the carpet. Now you would think a motel like this would be charging no more then say $80 a night... but no they charged a whopping $160. Not worth it!

I begged, I pleaded...no other hotel in the area was available. I received short notice that my mother was dying and I needed a hotel for 1 night! I have a small less than 10 lb hypoallergenic dog. They said they had rooms, but none that they could let me have a dog. I explained that my dog is hypoallergenic, had just been groomed and is well trained. Guy still said NO! But PLEASE!! My mother is dying I have no where to stay. ONE NIGHT! PLEASE!!!! NO!! I guess I will be sleeping in my car.

Spent a night here while I was in town for work. It's definitely on the older side. However there are fairly new TVs in the room and the WiFi is fast and easy to connect to. The bed wasn't the best but comfortable enough. The bathroom wasn't pretty, but it was clean and functional. It had odd aesthetics because there were black towels in a mostly white bathroom. The shower curtain was a very nice one, but it was thick and dark and when I had a shower it was dark in the shower. One thing there is no A/C here, there is a fan in the room but it's no Air Conditioner. It wasn't too bad when I visited, but I can see this being uncomfortable on very hot days. Another issue was that the parking lot was across the street so I had to lug things back and forth, I can see that being an issue for the elderly. But if you're young and slightly cash strapped this place is decent value.
