To reach this lodge at the top of the mountain, you travel up a gravel road. The views from the top are spectacular. The lodge itself is fairly basic. The rooms are very clean, and the beds are good. The furnishings are a little rustic and homey. Although there were ear plugs beside the bed (slightly alarming), thankfully we didn't... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days to celebrate my birthday. There are a variety of accommodations, rooms in the lodge, a cabin and luxury yurts. We stayed in one of the luxury yurts which was great. We wanted to stay in the yurt as we are avid campers and have stayed in yurts in the state parks... More

We've been wanting to stay here for some time and are very happy we finally have. Port Renfrew is pretty remote. If you are looking for a special occasion getaway at a unique place this is it. I have been in a yurt before, but not stayed in one until now. Soule Creek is located up a grave road on... More

This is out of the way, and way at the top! The views are stunning and the quiet is just what was needed. The owners and staff were caring and gracious and the food was stunning. My stay was in the cabin, which afforded me solitude on my own deck overlooking the bay. The view upon waking was different each... More

My husband and I stayed one night in the cabin for our one year anniversary. The lodge is up a 2km gravel road and the views of the ocean and mountains was beautiful. There is no cell phone reception but wifi access is available. We also had the 3 course dinner that evening, which was incredibly good and worth the... More

I visited SCL with my brother and sister-in-law on March 15. What a treat! The location atop a hill was breathtaking especially in the early morning as the sun rose. The room - we stayed in the lodge - was warm, really well-designed with a partition between the beds for privacy, and attention to all the small details in the... More

Thank you for the review Pacificseagirl. The roasted pepper mash has a bit of fresh ground nutmeg and sour cream and finished with fresh lemon juice (just a bit). Hope to see you again. More

This property is stunning!!!! It is private, yet inviting. The hosts/owners are very friendly and warm. Breakfast was outstanding. The views from all of the rooms, and the Yurts are incredible, and the area gives you a full sense of serenity.

We had a romantic stay at Soule creek lodge and event extended our stay one night. Treat yourself and splurge for the bigger yurt. The food was AMAZING! There were also hi king trails close by and a hotp tub at the lodge when when you get back. We especially loved the little skylight in the yurt and the sound... More

Gee, I don't recall being anywhere as quiet in a long time (except at our own backwoods chalet in the dead of winter). The lodge is really "out there" on the edge of the wild of Vancouver Island, so it's very quiet. One evening I could hear the showers coming up the hill towards me in, moving in from the... More

We stayed one night in a Yurt. Surprisingly luxurious and very clean. If you haven't stayed in a yurt before, this would be the place to try it. A fabulous breakfast is included by Chef Jon. We also had dinner there. It was exquisite and a great value. Lived being able to bring our wine with us. Try this! You... More
