A rare haven in this part of the island. And an unforgettable souvenir! The owner likes to entertain his customers and loves to host! You will feel home in the dinning room or around the beach. This nest is genuinely hidden in a thick forest and you ll be able to see (and meet) a lot of wild life there... More

We chose this Lodge as options are limited in this region of Vancouver Island. After a few km off the main road Port McNeail - Telegraph Cove you arrive at this beautiful spot. The setting of the Lodge is simply stunning. On the other hand, the rooms are definitely dated & small, but clean. The owner also has a very... More

We booked this lodge through word of mouth from someone who visited 17 years ago. We arrived around lunch time and were made to feel very welcome and were invited to have tea and cake whenever we wanted it. Once we checked in to cottage 1, we set off to Port McNeil to pick up some groceries. This took around... More

This place is 3km down a country road on the water's edge, just outside of Telegraph Cove. The setting is stunning however the place is slightly haphazard. We had booked a cottage for 4 of our party and the other 2 were in the hotel itself. We drove from the hotel to the cottage past old garages, (un)inhabited caravans and... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was a wonderful stay. The lodge is very secluded with a magnificent view of the ocean. A humpback whale swam right past the cove when we were there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dan, the owner, has great advice for what to see and do in this part of Vancouver... More

Such a lovely spot! Right on the water, too We stayed here the night before a camping trip out of Telegraph Cove. We arrived at dinner time which smelled and tasted wonderful. Make your dinner reservation when you make your room reservation because this area is truly "off the grid". They need to plan for you. The room was clean... More

This place is magic! Orcas swimming in the bay, black bears roaming on the beach, bold eagles nesting.... Rooms are simple and very confortable, dinner is exquisite. Dan and Sandra are very nice hosts. This is the perfect place to connect with nature and disconnect from the world (there is no wi-fi, which is good in such a place)

We spent a single night at Hidden Cove. The folks running the inn are very nice and the setting is gorgeous. We enjoyed the breakfast included with the room, but for an upscale destination they really need to raise their coffee game. The location is good for reaching Telegraph Cove in about 15 minutes. Would be nice if the lodge... More

We rented a cottage which was well equipped, just great with two kids. Secluded, litterally a few meters from the water. Incredible sunsets. Bald eagles and kingfishers were all around. Staff was very friendly.
