Clean and modern furnishings in a large log house not far from the Nass River and village of Gitlaxt’aamix, operated with enthusiasm and expertise by Kim who serves incredible breakfasts and is also knowledgeable about the Nisga'a culture. A most enjoyable stay.

I came up to the Nass Valley for work to bring along six children for a homecoming trip for them to connect with their native land and culture at Hobiyee, We packed in 11 of us in all 5 of her bedrooms and yet we were all comfortable and she gave us amazing breakfast with more than enough delicious food made from scratch. Kim catered to all of our dietary needs and more! Kim is very passionate and supportive for children to learn of their native land and went out of her way to make sure my clients were comfortable and all of us were well informed of the local attractions and logistics to get to and from places. Kim is very knowledgeable of the area and you can tell she deeply cares for every person who walks in her home that they get the most out of their trip. The accomodations were very clean and homey, the kitchen was fully equipped with all we needed to make meals and if there was anything else we needed she was super approachable to ask as we could just go next door to the "working side" and she would be available for anything. Only one disclaimer, Kim had two dogs on the property that would bark at anything any time of night, however they were super friendly and harmless to all of us guests. My kids loved playing and petting the dogs. This is by far the best accommodation in the area and would recommend to everyone who is looking to travel up to Nisga'a/Nass Valley region.

Our group booked the entire property for a Ladies Winter Retreat and we were spoiled rotten. The rooms were clean and the beds super comfortable. After a few hours spent at the natural hot springs (15 minutes drive) rejuvenating and relaxing we were treated to a great home cooked meal with a cheesecake to die for! The owner and hostess, Kim, was very attentive but not intrusive. The location was so peaceful, the only noise being our laughter and the distant howling of wolves. We all slept well and were treated to an outstanding breakfast of tea, coffee, juices, fresh berries, yogurts, muffins, toast, sausages, tomatoes, eggs anyways, etc.. I have no hesitation giving this place a 10/10. The whole area is sacred and this gem respectfully does it justice.

If you are travelling to the Nass Valley, this is the place to stay! Kim is an exceptionally attentive and kind hostess, who is a true ambassador and promoter of her community and its local culture. She is also and amazing gourmet chef, and kept me very well fed throughout my stay. The lodge itself is very clean, and beautifully designed, with vaulted ceilings and classic post-and-beam construction. The views of snow-capped mountains from the suite, are amazing... a truly breathtaking setting.

My family stayed with Kim for two nights in mid-August. Kim was wonderful - an exceptional hostess and chef, we had delicious meals, very comfortable rooms, and the run of a delightful lodge with spectacular views. Kim spent an inordinate amount of time helping us figure out the best things to do while in the region, and made us feel right at home - we hope to come back next year. Thank you very much! Highly recommended.
