One of the best experiences of my life! Kim who runs the place is an outgoing fun loving human! She has the best spirit! I wanted to just hang out with her! The house is surrounded by some of the best fishing possible. Caught my first coho my first steelhead and went crabbing for the first time! I would highly recommend heading and staying here it was warm and cozy! Beautiful scenery and so much to do and see in nature!
Loved this B & B. Kim is quite the hostess! Food was delicious, bed very comfortable, and location quiet. Would definitely return. The only negative is the hostess’ dogs - they barked anytime anyone came close.
I usually don't stay at B&Bs, but I decided to treat myself. Am I ever glad that I did. It was outstanding in every way! I only stayed one night, but would've stayed longer if I could. Kim is an extremely attentive host (the food was truly excellent; fresh salmon and stuffed scallops), and there was such a sense of community there. I hope to be back for Hobiyee.
Clean and modern furnishings in a large log house not far from the Nass River and village of Gitlaxt’aamix, operated with enthusiasm and expertise by Kim who serves incredible breakfasts and is also knowledgeable about the Nisga'a culture. A most enjoyable stay.
I came up to the Nass Valley for work to bring along six children for a homecoming trip for them to connect with their native land and culture at Hobiyee, We packed in 11 of us in all 5 of her bedrooms and yet we were all comfortable and she gave us amazing breakfast with more than enough delicious food made from scratch. Kim catered to all of our dietary needs and more! Kim is very passionate and supportive for children to learn of their native land and went out of her way to make sure my clients were comfortable and all of us were well informed of the local attractions and logistics to get to and from places. Kim is very knowledgeable of the area and you can tell she deeply cares for every person who walks in her home that they get the most out of their trip. The accomodations were very clean and homey, the kitchen was fully equipped with all we needed to make meals and if there was anything else we needed she was super approachable to ask as we could just go next door to the "working side" and she would be available for anything. Only one disclaimer, Kim had two dogs on the property that would bark at anything any time of night, however they were super friendly and harmless to all of us guests. My kids loved playing and petting the dogs. This is by far the best accommodation in the area and would recommend to everyone who is looking to travel up to Nisga'a/Nass Valley region. …
