My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend getaway. The staff were really friendly and nice. Randy was very helpful in recommending different sights to see in the area. The food was really well prepared, very tasty and you can help they make everything in house.(good options for vegetarians too)The bed was comfortable and the sheets were really soft. I would definitely recommend a trip to vetter falls lodge. Lots to see and do in the nass valley. We will be back!

This is like a diamond in the middle of the forest. The food and service is excellent and the staff are really nice. They make a great eggs Benedict. The rooms are lovely and the decor reflects the Nisga'a culture.

Randy the owner and host could not have been more accomodating from his welcome to the fantastic salmon dinner. The accomodations are spaceous, clean, and well accomodated overall. If you are in the area, even overnight, it is worth a stop. Interesting recent lava flows nearby!

This is a beautiful lodge. Even though you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The towels and sheets are of high quality. The drinking water is delicious. It's spotless. The beds are comfy. We were traveling with a wheelchair and Randy made the room accessible by building a ramp for the 2 stairs to the bedroom. The bathroom was spacious and accessible - eaily accommodating a portable lift. The staff was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Jordan stayed late one night to make sure we were taken care of - in spite of an injury to his hand. All our interactions with the staff were an absolute pleasure. Many of the staff are still training for hospitality or cooking - but you wouldn't know it because they are so great! We felt pampered and taken care of. As we headed north, we were advised to bring our own food up the Nisga'a highway so we arrived with supplies but it was not necessary. The lodge staff cooked to perfection the halibut and veggies we brought - but they do have a full menu. The restaurant is really good. They make everything from scratch in the kitchen. Full breakfasts are included - the pancakes with fruit compote was especially memorable. The salmon and pilaf the second night was good. We all enjoyed the desserts. Wine is available. Everything is nicely spiced. The pace of life in this area is certainly different than the city - so if you like hustle and bustle, it's not for you. They do have wifi but there is no cell reception on the Nisga'a highway anywhere so it was nice to have the wifi when we came back at night. Also - lots of stars in the night sky! They've only been open since June - but they are doing a super job! We would return here in a heartbeat.

A well-built log lodge located 90 km north of Terrace BC on the Nisga'a highway. Several miles away from New Aiyansh. The lodge has 4 rooms with full bathrooms (2 rooms share a bathroom) and 3 self-contained log cabins. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Bedding is duvets. Included breakfast includes cheese slices, meat slices, toast, jam, and eggs on request. Evening meal can be provided at extra cost and is a bit expensive for what you get. Good but not great. The lodge is located just outside the Nisga'a Memorial Lava Beds Park and you can either do a self-guided tour of some of the attractions or contact the Nisga'a Commercial Group in New Aiyansh http://www.ncgtourism.ca/ to arrange a personal tour. There are no other services within about a 15 minute drive to New Aiyansh.
