Over 40 years ago the Sandy Beach Lodge was my parents oasis for summer holidays. This past week, my husband and two adult sons had the opportunity to return to the lodge for a magical visit that brought back tons of memories while providing every modern convenience and comfort. The resort managers Sandra and Leo are phenomenal, looking after every... More

This is a popular family resort in Naramata BC. The large log cabins are comfortable, clean and have most of what you need to make cooking relatively simple. It is the grounds though that are the main draw. Lovely grass surrounds the cabins and is a great place for kids to run. The beach is sandy yet needs to be... More

A beautiful location and beachfront. Sandra and Leo were great and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. It was an amazing 3 night getaway with great wineries conveniently close by for wine tasting and good food. The room was clean and comfortable with a wonderful lake view. A definite place we will want to return... More

We visited Sandy Beach Lodge 8 years ago for our 25th anniversary. We loved it, and we decided to return this year. We were certainly not disappointed. The place is lovely, a setting in paradise. We paddled a canoe (available at the Lodge) around the lake, we played ping-pong, we swam in the pool, and of course, we enjoyed visiting... More

My family of 4 (Myself, husband and a 2.5 year old and 5 year old) stayed at Sandy Beach Lodge and Resort May 23-27, 2016. It was our first stay at Sandy Beach and trip to Naramata. We had heard about the resort from friends of ours who have been taking their kids to SBL for years. Upon check we... More

I stayed in the lodge with a friend for 3 nights. Absolutely fabulous. Sandra and Leo are relatively new managers and went out of their way to see that we had everything we needed- from printing out restaurant menus to finding out how to access the biking trails. The room was clean, small kitchen equipped with dishes. Breakfast was included... More

We spent two nights in late September (shoulder season) and found it very comfortable and friendly. The shoreside location is very pretty, and the lodge and cabins retain the comfortable look of an earlier era. With few guests, we had the run of the place and enjoyed walks into Naramata, wine tasting on the Naramata bench, nice continental breakfasts, and... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is exceptional. The view is great. We plan to return and rent a cabin with friends. If you are looking for a quiet place with beautiful surroundings, close to the wineries...this is the place

Wonderful location waterfront, nice lawns stretching all the way down to the beach. Cozy main building, oldish feel to it, but perfectly clean and with friendly, new managers (who were unfortunately not yet familiar with the area). A bit expensive considered there aren´t many extras, but good size rooms and location makes up for it.

We were dismayed that long-time managers had left the property. The new managers need a few years at the helm before they understand the spirit. It is an expensive property with not many extras, but the secluded duplex cabins on the water are great. Good size, BBQ, decks and a 10 minute walk from the small town of Naramata. The... More
