This is our 3rd time here.
The cottages have been updated since our last visit, they were nice before, but now they are even nicer. Huge bathroom, large shower, toilet has built in bidet that was wonderful. Room had generous sized mini fridge, coffee maker/kettle, AC, TV & love seat. It was a bit tight walking around the bed, but otherwise fantastic for a couple.

Pools were great, we lucked out and it wasn’t very busy during our stay. The views from the pools are breathtaking.

Dinner in the Chanterelle restaurant was amazing. Portions were large and price was good. If you’re looking for breakfast, I suggest Hoss & Jill’s in Nakusp. If you just want a pastry & coffee then the poolside cafe is good.

The Spa (Under the new ownership of Pam) was amazing. We had a couples exfoliation treatment on the first day and a July Special 2hr treatment on the 2nd day. Both experiences were fantastic. The practitioners were very skilled, the products are plant based & cruelty free and we left feeling very rejuvenated.

Total cost- including breakfast in town and all tips at the resort was just under $2300. We splurged on the treatments but they were well worth it.

We will be back again.

My husband and I stayed at Halcyon Hot Springs Resort back in late April 2022 for 4 nights. And we had a wonderful stay. The King chalet we stayed was beautiful with amazing lake view, the whole surrounding was tranquil and serene. The resort was quiet when we stayed there, and therefore not many guests used the hot spring pools. The pools are clean, hot spring water quality is super and it doesn't smell too much of chlorine. The change and shower rooms are clean and have adequate amenities. With the snow capped mountains as a backdrop, the Halcyon Hot Spring Pools are absolate gems! We truly enjoyed our soaks!
The resort has different types of accomodations to suit different budgets and needs, from those cute and small cabins on the hill, cottages with modern amenities, king chalets with larger space to the rustic 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom family cabins. They are all very unique and beautiful.
The king chalet we stayed has great mattress and linens, a fully equipped kitchen, and the easy to use nespresso machine is a nice touch. We ate once in the Kingfisher restaurant and the food was amazing! The view was spectacular!
20 minute drive away is a little town called Nakusp, a walk on the lake side promenade is a must, the view is amazing. A heritage Leland Hotel by the lake looks unattrative from the outside, but once you go in and its patio restaurant view would give a huge surprise! We love Nakusp! A beautiful and relaxing town.

Back to the resort, I would recommend you bring your own paper towels for the kitchen use as they don't provide it. You may also ask for a kettle for making tea if you like. Bring along slippers for the rooms, you are not allowed to wear shoes in your chalets or cottages. Sandals for the pools would be nice.
Last but not the least, the front desk staff are absolutely attentive, friendly and helpful, just to name a couple of them, Matthew, Collin and a girl who I don't remember the name.
We would certainly return to the resort in the near future and would also recommend to others.

We went here for my birthday and to get away for the holidays. It was the first time have gone out of the states and going to the Halcyon hot springs resort was phenomenal. We stayed in the Queen cabin, which was amazing. Heated floors throughout the whole cabin, heated bathroom mirror, large walk in shower with a rain shower head, and a bidet. The warm seat was such a nice pleasure when it’s freezing cold out in Canada. The bed was comfy, the whole cabin felt cozy. The cabins are a short distance from the hot springs so that was a nice walk, especially after a nice hot soak. The staff takes great care of all the snow on walkways . First night of dinner at the Alcedo restaurant was delicious. I tried the 8 hour sous vide rabbit with fettuccine Alfredo. Amazing. The rabbit didn’t taste gamey and it was very tender. The fettuccine Alfredo, wow. Was spectacular. I make my own Alfredo sauce and this sauce was spectacular, especially with the home made fettuccine noodles. I get a little weary ordering fettuccine noodles because they’re too thick but these fettuccine noodles were perfectly thin with a nice bite. My boyfriend ordered the tenderloin, and that was spectacular as well. Especially since he typically orders a ribeye. All the wine and drinks were great as well. The next day for lunch we had the burgers and they were delicious burgers, the meat was well seasoned , there was sauce on the burger which made it more great because we hate a burger without condiments on it. The fries were hand cut and seasoned well. Breakfast was complimentary while we stayed there and typically one would think it’s like the basic pancakes, eggs, cereal. No , the e had a spectacular breakfast. Mine was the alcedo eggs Benedict, a type of soft boiled egg, wrapped with Parmesan cheese and deep fried, and with shrimp and asparagus. Sounded interesting and it was interesting amazing! Even the regular eggs, sausage and bacon meal was great. We had a great soak in the hot springs, there weren’t that many people at night so it was so great to just relax without loud noise. We actually enjoyed being in the hot springs during the adult hour so there weren’t loud children. Everyone definitely has to try the cold pool. It was a blast . We spent a spectacular Christmas weekend away and it was well worth it.

If you are an adult couple that is looking to stay at the resort, I would strongly advise you not to. Save your money and go somewhere else. Cons: they allow outsiders to pay day rates to enter the hot springs. They are supposed to leave by 9pm but they don’t and the staff don’t come and check there are non-onsite guests in the pool (you need to wear wristbands as a guest so it’s very easy to tell. None of the facilities open until 9am that’s breakfast, gym, pools, reception etc. which is when they open to the public. if you’re an early riser and want to only do things outside in the morning, not good for you.
Restaurant is overly expensive and not good. If you need cell reception for emergencies keep in mind that’s not available and it’s wifi on site only.

There’s no saunas or steam rooms. The change rooms are extremely old and it’s an open communal shower like it’s the 80s? The grounds are well kept and very quiet until you get to the pools (star of the show) where it’s like a wild house where outsiders come with their kids and could care less about how loud and obnoxious they are.

We paid $1300 to stay here and I wish we put that towards sparkling hill in Vernon instead and made the extra drive.

My wife and I spent three nights at your facility, but encountered unexpected inconsistencies in service and amenities, especially given the premium pricing. As early risers, we were disappointed to find no coffee available until 9:30 a.m. and no hot breakfast options at all. We were stuck as our cabin lacked basic kitchen essentials (microwave, toaster, plates, cups, utensils), and the room's coffee machine and supplies were comparable to a budget hotel. Initially, we had no intention of leaving the resort, but we had to drive to Nakusp each day for proper coffee and breakfast (a 25-minute drive one way). Additionally, the on-site coffee shop had very limited lunch options. While the cabin, staff, spa, and dinner restaurant food (open after 4 p.m.) were exceptional, the bathroom products were basic, and the warmer pools had visible green algae. I forwarded my concern through their website and received no official response which speaks for itself. I would be hesitant to return or recommend this facility unless these issues are addressed.

This attraction is located near beautiful upper Arrow Lake with magnificent views of the Monashee Mountains. It has three pools at the upper level, the hottest one being 104 degrees. Open daily from 11 an to 5 pm, a maximum of 20 people at a time are permitted on first come, first served basis. It is open to registered resort guests and operates with strict cleaning protocols. My sister and I soaked in the hottest pool, tried the warm 99 degree pool and dipped our toes in the cold pool. Large umbrellas and large fir trees provide shade from the hot sun with relaxing lounge chairs to use before or after using the rich mineral pools. Two fluffy towels are provided upon entry. A locker room complete with showers, mirrors and dryers keep your belongings safe as you use the mineral-rich waters. Meeting rooms, spa yoga and dining are available at this luxury wellness resort. My sister and I enjoyed this stopover and decided that we would return at another time for a longer stay.

The setting is idyllic but the service is definitely not! The food is good but quantities are small and the family left dinner still feeling hungry. The pools are of four different temperatures so something for everyone but they were busy. We stayed in a cabin that was advertised as being “on the water”. The lake was about 200 metres away with two roads,a trail and a wedding gazebo in between. Overall, the location is great but the front desk service was not very supportive or even pleasant. They keep a $200 deposit for at least two days “because of the banks” which is total BS and not advertised ahead of time. I visited Halcyon about 20 years ago and wanted to bring the family back. Will not be back again.

This is our first time staying at this property and we are very dissapointed. My husband and I decided to book as we are celebrating our anniversary. We are checking out of 11B this morning. The room itself is very nice however you can hear everything from the room upstairs. It feels like you are living is someones basement.

The moment we entered the room we could hear footsteps and a young child. We asked the front desk staff if there were any other rooms to stay in and he didn't have anything for the second night of our stay. We also asked if we cancelled our second night would we be charge and he said no but we would pay a higher price for one night.

We decided to stay put and try and make the most of it. It's now Sunday morning the day we check out and the guests upstairs have been up since 4am with their child.

I am very dissapointed as this must be a very common complaint and the team do nothing to make their guests aware of the issues with the noise.

We stayed in one of the Point Cottages (Granby). It had a small sitting room and kitchen, bedroom with a queen bed, very small bedroom with bunk beds and bathroom with shower. The cottage had good wi-fi and a tv and a well stocked kitchen. There were both ceiling fans and air conditioning. Everything was very clean and comfortable. There was a barbecue and a picnic table with a view of the lake through the trees (no view from inside the cabin).

We enjoyed barbecuing dinner one night and went to the restaurant (Alcedo) the other night. The restaurant is very expensive so we almost didn't go, but we were so glad we did! I had the best mushroom risotto of my life (with delicious scallops) and my husband had fall off the bone lamb shank. The view is spectacular and the service was excellent.

The pools are very nice and were not crowded when we went. While the pools are open to the public from 11 - 5, people staying there have access starting at 9 am until 9 pm, which is great. Adults only from 8 pm to 9 pm is a bonus. Beautiful view from the pools.

The grounds are very nice with a nice pathway that goes through the trees above the lake. There is no real "beach" for the lake, but there is a dock so you can access the lake. There are lots of nice sitting areas where you can sit and enjoy the view.

I had a 75 minute massage with Andrea at the little spa (really just a nice cabin) and it was excellent. I wish I had time to take one of her yoga classes! All staff at the Halcyon were friendly and helpful.

If you're looking to relax and treat yourself, I highly recommend the Halcyon.

Ended up checking out after spending less than 24 hours at the resort.

We used to be frequent guests and alwqys enjoyed the previously quiet relaxing environment, but this time it was loud and filled with people who were drinking. When we asked staff if they could enforce any of the rules meant to ensure the peace of the resort, they shared they couldn't do anything to enforce the rules, so they weren't 'real rules'. When we asked to speak with a manager above the Guest services manager, the other manager refused to come out of their office.

They tried to bill us for the stay despite us spending more time having to ask for them to enforce their rules , than actually relaxing. I asked to pay for the food, but the manager had become fed up and just said 'your card will be charged'.

Not what it used to be. Cowardly management hidden behind doors.

Some front line staff that care and mean well, but who are unfortunately unable to do anything to help make things right.

A terrible experience overall having to cut our trip short. No point staying here if you can't even enjoy the hot springs.

Seems they cater to more of a party crowd, but are still misleadingly marketing it as a place for peaceful relaxation.
