I attend an organized event every summer in Nakusp, and I've tried various B&Bs, hotels, lodges, etc. I've settled on the CMH K2 as my go-to lodging. This used to be known as the Kuskanax, and CMH K2 bought the place a couple of years ago. I've stayed in various rooms in the lodge over the years. Rooms in the... More

The air conditioned rooms are spacious and well furnished. We've stayed here many times both work related and for personal trips and this provides good value. It's central, has a nice restaurant and is very near several attractions, i.e., lake, park, farmer's market, grocery store, liquor store, etc.

My son and I stayed here last night and had a great stay. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way for us. Beds were very comfy and room was clean! In the morning our power went out and they refunded half our stay which they didn't have to as we were leaving anyway. The only downfall I'd... More

We stayed in the second building which is air conditioned so we did not see rooms in the main, unairconditioned building. Our room was large (2 queens) and quite clean. There is no elevator to the second floor so carrying luggage up open outside steps is necessary. Staff was helpful and accommodating of requests. Motorcycle wash rags are available. Refrigerator... This is a very good hotel in the Nakusp and have stayed in it many times on our motorcycle trips. There is a small lounge that has good entertainment restaurant inside good food. The location is excellent for walking around the cusp. I would stay here again on our next trip

This is a great place to stay. Located within walking distance to everything. Don't be put off if there are only rooms available with no air conditioning. We took a room with no air conditioner but it had a huge ceiling fan and the windows are screened and can be opened. We were able to park In front of our... More

We stayed at the CMH K2 Rotor Lodge on our motorbike trip in July 2016. Our room was in the back building on the main floor. Large room and very comfortable. This motel is centrally located and within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars, walking trails along the lake. The main lodge has a restaurant, bar and liquor store. Great... More

We came in on short notice with 3 dogs, 2 adults and a child. They gave us a large spacious rooms with garden front view. Very clean and quiet. Large TV and big bathroom on a ground floor. The front desk lady was fast and welcoming. The restaurant staff (male) was very welcoming and polite.

Spent a couple nights in a room with two double beds. Nicely laid out and clean, had a nice sized fridge. Great location- walked everywhere in town. Biggest hiccup was the practically non-existent wifi. Would only pick up if you walked over to the office. We were told they were renovating the office and moved the router causing problems. At...
