A bit off the beaten path, but a real pleasant surprise. Booked for one night on return to Sechelt from Pender Harbour. Great location with a lovely deck overlooking the marina in front of us where we enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the boats return and the sun go down. Great facilities. Comfortable room with a great bed.... More

We did not expect this "motel" to be so nice! It was actually fantastic, with very nice accommodations and amenities, very comfortable and clean, in a perfect location by the water. Joe, the owner, was ever so helpful and always there to assist in any way possible. He even made sure our activities were perfectly planned and timed. We saw... More

We called ahead several weeks and made arrangements to tie up at their marina before heading on to Princess Louisa Inlet. The proprietor had us tie up next to a plywood boat house as all of the Bathgate Marina slips appear to be occupied by locals. But this was just fine, there was both electric and water available and we... More

Our stay at Bathgate was great! We rented a little skiff to explore along the coast and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery and spotted lots of wildlife! Everyone we spoke with was extremely kind and friendly. The general store has some fresh catch available along with other vitals to prepare a tasty dinner with out going far! Then you can walk... If you are travelling up the sunshine coast this is a cozy place to stay for a night. The room was small but clean and the view of the marina was nice. If you arrive late and the store is closed look for the buzzer on the side of the hotel. A cell phone number is also provided but service... More

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for three days. The staff was rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. The laundromat was old and expensive. They offer wifi but unavailable 90% of the time. The surroundings so beautiful and relaxing, but the management so awful. I will not return.

Hi stayed here in august 2015 with my family. We had about 8 people. We rented the whole condo. Everything was perfect. The washrooms were clean the beds were clean and tidy. The overall apperance was awsome. Bottom suite has a full kitchen perfect for breakfast lunch and dinner. Perfect parking right beside the condo. Beatiful view of the inlet... More

Friends stayed there with their RV and we came up for one night. There is only a handful of rooms max. This is not a resort in any way. 3-5 rooms in that building. Not cheap at all. Was 160 CAD. Room and bathroom were very clean. The room overlooked the marina and had a balcony which was very nice.... More

Hello, Thank you for the honest review. we realize the room décor is extremely outdated , and we are planning on updating our rooms in the very near future. We have already started with new beds in a few of our rooms. As far as the Backeddy Pub goes this is not our property , they do have a profile... More

The new owner is a breath of fresh air. We have been living in the area as a summer cottage for over 25 years and the service and attitude is like night and day is the former owners. We will now be coming here on a regular basis because it is so inviting. The new owners are providing free Internet... More

Wow, what a gem! We stayed two nights in the king suite which was really well-equipped. The view was stunning and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Not a ton of privacy on our shared balcony (there was a divider, but not a solid one), but quiet and the view more than made up for that!!
