There is a decreasing number of really good stops along the Cariboo Highway, but the Cariboo Lodge continues to be one of our preferred ones for trips north and south. The food is good and the staff friendly. Have not stayed here for a while but it was always reliable and quiet in the past. There are a number of...

Nice, clean, quiet room. Friendly staff, good food, pet friendly. So glad we chose this stopover! We will definitely come again. This was a winter stay, so just the pub was open, but the food was great. Not open for breakfast, though, at this time of the year.

Stopped off at Cariboo Lodge for one night on a journey, comfortable room good space. We had our evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant, good food cheerfully served. Our stay here was made by the cheerful, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Although Clinton is on a busy road we were not disturbed by traffic noise at night,...

A very comfortable place to stay, rooms are large and quite well appointed. The only problem we had is that there is no one on the desk at night. There was a problem with noise outside our room at 2:45 a.m. In other words there was no one in charge to take care of the situation. In case of emergency...

On the evening of Oct 25th, my husband was driving Hwy 97 northbound when suddenly, traffic stopped. Long story short, someone snapped the power pole in half with his vehicle and the highway was now covered with live lines. We waited an hour but were updated that it'd be at least another 4 hrs, so we turned around and headed...

Stayed here a couple of times as I passed through the interior. Good clean rooms, accommodating staff, good food, reasonable prices. Well-located on the main road. Thanks for making arrangements to get our room for a late night arrival.

I stayed here while on a school field trip a couple years ago and enjoyed the one night stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The pub had good food and friendly service. We had breakfast at the restaurant which was also very good with great service. They did a great job handling our loud rambunctious group.

We were planning to camp but after a day of rain and it was getting late we pulled off at the Cariboo Lodge. What a great place! Rooms were spacious and very clean, service was excellent and the food in the restaurant was a real treat. Everything was delicious, especially the local veggies. Highly recommend.

Travelling down from Prince George to Vancouver and decided to stop in Clinton which is a lovely and unique little town. We chose the Cariboo Lodge as it looked cute from the outside. The front desk woman was friendly and funny and I liked the atmosphere immediately upon entering the Lodge. Our room was basic, but clean with a comfortable...
