I work in Burns Lake BC and normally stay at the residence, however for 2 nights over Christmas eve and Christmas Day, my hubby was coming out to stay with me, and bringing our dog. In July (6 months in advance) I called a few different places in Burns Lake to find a place for us to stay with our...

Stayed 10 nights with my husband who was working in the area. Room 210. On arrival the reception guy was very friendly and told us good restaurants to use during our stay. The cleaning staff who work very hard made my stay enjoyable. They always asked every day if we needed anything and always ready to clean and replace items...

Stayed in Rm 216. Excellent modern accommodations with mini fridge and microwave. Also excellent complementary breakfast is included (toast, cereal, muffins, bananas, milk, coffee and juice). The only down side is that they provide liquid body lotion instead of bar soap for shower. I would definiately stay here again.

We had a late check-in with a family of 4 for a 2 Queen Bed room. Our room was in the far building on the second floor. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was free wifi, which wasn't super fast but did work. The coffee pot hadn't been cleaned out when we checked in but I...

Found this place to be very clean. It was great for a one night stop on our way to Stewart. Continental breakfast was small but the blueberry muffins were really good. Girl @ desk was helpful in recommending a place for supper. We would stay again when passing thru the area.

The bathrooms are kind of old and gurbby, and the bedding, beds and pillows must be from the 90s. This location is much worse than the location at houston, a much nicer hotel. The walls are thin and you can hear highway noise all the time, people parking their vehicles, starting their trucks, etc. Also during my most recent stay,...

The inn keeper is super friendly and does her utmost to make sure that your room is to your liking. Not typical to find such an amazing attitude at an inn in this area. Room is super clean and giant leather easy chair with foot-wide arm rests is a welcome bonus. Great job Sunshine. This business traveller appreciates you!

Janell made it happen for us. Great attitude makes up for any deficiencies. But never found any. Will stop here any time we need a rest. Thanks Janell, someone should offer you a job in hospitality elsewhere if they want premium people. Sunsets are worth sitting outside with a glass of wine.

We drove 14 hrs and we're told this was a nice hotel. When I got to hotel and tried to get a room. I realized I did not have my CC. I offered to give them $500-1000 damage deposit and get the maid to check it before we left. She refused. Then my mo sent me her number for her...

I travel for a living to small town BC. I now have a new worst breakfast. Toast and raisin bran were my choices. (Not even the usual bad yogurt). Room was basic. I spent the evening reading a book by the ceiling light as there was no lamp. If I come to town again I will try somewhere else.
