Really enjoyed an excellent stay at the Blue River Motel. The room was small, but very pleasant and clean and extremely fully featured - basically a complete kitchen, with stove, fridge, sink, etc. Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better stay or a better value, and would absolutely stay here again.

We planned on stopping here .. with a reservation, in September. Unfortunately we were hit by bad weather early in the season.... SNOW! And decided to head home. We called to cancel our reservation a full 36 hours in advance of our reservation... were told it was ok.... then .. they charged us FULL RATE on our credit card. Not good business ... we will not consider going there again and end outrage others to be very careful before booking there.

We stayed one night at the Blue River Motel on our way to Alberta. It is a couple of blocks off the highway so there is no traffic noise. Jean at reception was friendly and helpful. We got a ground floor suite for an amazing low price. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Our suite has dishes for 4 as well as pots and pans in the kitchen. The suite was small and the furnishings are older but we were very happy there and will return.

It has everything you need. It's off the highway in a residential area so it is quiet. There is a full kitchen, small TV, wifi. Jean at reception is very nice. Everything seems very clean. Not fancy but a great value. A good place for us to stop overnight.

I picked this hotel based on recommendations here on Trip advisor and was completely satisfied. The two people who greeted us were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Overall a great start to one of my greatest vacations. I hope to make this place an annual stop over but for more time to explore the region.

Last stop before home: this motel is a little off the highway and in a residential area. But once you find this place, you've come across a hidden gem. Our room, because we needed wheelchair access and handicap facilities, turned out to be a very nice suite, full kitchen, sitting area with sofa, separate bedroom and large bathroom. In addition to being extremely clean, the "fit and finish" of the suite was excellent. A perfect overnight stop and well worth the money.

Blue river is a small town on the way to Jasper and The Motel is privately owned and you can certainly tell, the receptionist was so helpful and pleasant and the room was really tidy and clean and above all really quiet. The rooms are basically mini flats they have - cooker, microwave, tv, wifi, large fridge, dining room table etc. The beds were really comfortable and to my delight they had opening windows for some fresh air. If you are ever in the area I would recommend a stay there, as they are not too expensive as they don't have many tourist sights in the area. Great stay.

Pet friendly, clean, comfortable and perfect for an overnight stay while travelling from Victoria to N. Alberta. Room was small but big enough for our needs and included full size fridge and stove with all dishes and utensils. We have stayed here before and we will stay here again and have recommended to family completing the same trip.

If you are ok with a ceiling fan instead of an air conditioner, you will get great value from this motel. It's a ways off the highway, but it's cheap! Great WiFi, Satelite TV (though the TV wasn't a flatscreen, it was still quite good). Quiet. Separate bedroom with 2 beds, and a fold-out double bed in the main room. Kitchenette with dishes, silverware and cups. We've been here before, and we will likely be back!

The room for $70 is small but has everything, the kitchen includes microwave, full size fridge, toaster, dishes and other various things. While it was small, it had absolutely everything, it was clean. It is pet friendly, staff were extremely friendly to our German Shepherd. We really liked this place so much so stayed on the way to Vancouver and made sure to book it on the return trip home. We will always stay here when driving out to the coast. We loved it, will be back and you should check it out. Best value @ $70 a night, we have ever found anywhere. 100%
