After 12 hours on a tour bus, we finally made it going around the long way from Whistler. This was due to an avalanche on the main highway through, which cost us an extra 4 hours driving. The resort was so nice to get to and the log cabins were very spacious and comfortable. The resort had organised for our... More

We checked in as part of a tour group and were placed in a number of "chalets" within one another. Each chalet had own room and bathroom facilitates however there is a common area shared by guests staying at the chalet with a fireplace kitchen and sofa. The beds were comfortable but the rooms were noisy when the bathroom was... More

Travelling back to Alberta from very hectic time in B.C., we decided to treat ourselves to Mike Wiegele's lodge for a night. What a delightful stay! Beautiful accommodation, inside and out. Super comfortable, super quiet, lovely atmosphere. The grounds are spectacular. The only drawback for us was that the restaurant is not open in the summer, as we would love... More

My husband & I stayed in July. BEAUTIFUL area and resort. The cabins are very well appointed with luxury items like a steam shower, jaccuzi tub and very comfortable beds. The grounds are well kept with a lake and beach and lovely paths to follow. The train is fairly close, so you do hear it, but it's not like its... More

When your parents ask for a weekend in cabins on a lake to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary, go gold or go home! How about a private log chalet to share with our whole family, right off Eleanor Lake, nestled within the Heli Village and surrounding mountains of Blue River, BC! The beautifully detailed, peaceful resort made it a pleasure... More

We stayed here for a few nights in July in the bahama mama cabin! It was great. The kids had their own room and all the adults had their own room! It was a beautiful cabin right on the lake! We stayed during the week which made it very private and quiet! The lake was great for swimming and the... More

This was one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in. Our Chalet was immaculate and every single attention to detail was so obvious. The bed was insanely comfortable. The Jacuzzi and steam shower was to die for. If anything was needed, it was brought to you in a matter of minutes. The grounds were stunning. I would return in... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the resort on our way to Vancouver. It's a beautiful location, with gorgeous log chalet accommodations and a very friendly staff that were happy accommodate us. Lots to see in this quaint little mountain town, highly underrated. We will definitely stay here again.

Communal area with lounge with large fireplace, dining room and kitchen very pleasant. On the side of a small lake - very beautiful spot.
