We have visited a few times now. Usually as a couple. This was our first time bringing our 3 year old. He had a blast! I was a little worried since I have not visited since the cave renos and I was concerned they may have wrecked a good thing. But I think it made it even better. All the...

I have visited Ainsworth 20-30 times and is has gone downhill. It's dirty, the water was disgusting in fact Ministry of Health need to spot visit you. There is some thing wrong with the water. I have never seen it that cloudy, that colour and not hot. Plus the price went up and now charge for bags....I felt nick led...

The springs are always such a treat - if you go during a long weekend/holiday, like anywhere else, it will be busy.... so use your individual judgement. However, whether it's packed or not, it is always so relaxing. I recommend a day pass so you can get out, eat & hydrate, then come back later! Food was delicious. The new...

We stayed here only for 1 night (thank goodness). After checking out their website, it looks like a really nice place, so we decided to make the drive to get there. We booked into their most expensive room as a treat to ourselves. Our room was decent, as it seems to have had a recent renovation and some updates. We...

If this is the best that BC has to offer based on other reviews, I will not be shopping around. The pictures on the website are deceiving. This is not a place for couples to go. If you want someone where inexpensive to take the kids and don't care about relaxing then this is the place. The hot springs was...

I regret to read that you didn't enjoy parts of your stay. It is true that we are a very popular resort for couples and families and we do have busy periods. Hotel guests have exclusive use of the pools for the first two hours daily and as a write this, there are eight people enjoying a relaxing morning soak....

Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort was by far the #1 high point on our 2,000+ km summer trip to Whistler, BC; Jasper, Alta; Canmore, Alta; and Ainsworth Hot Springs, BC. The resort itself is so laid back and comfortable to spend time at. It was the most reasonably priced/superior accommodations I've personally experienced anywhere in the Canadian Rockies, and possibly the...

Having visited for the past several years, things have changed this past year and not for the better. First, the hot springs weren't hot. The main pool was tepid and very cloudy, and so overly full of people, it reminded me of a public swimming pool. The caves we almost too crowded to even use, and they were cooler as...

Great resort, extra friendly staff, and one of the best hot springs in BC! We had a clean, comfortable room. We thought price was a little high, but then when you factor in the price of the hot springs for two days(included with the stay), its really quite reasonable. We especially loved the extra time in the morning in the...

We had a generally great experience at this resort. The restaurant served the best food I've had in a long while - at every meal! Service staff were friendly and well informed. Pools were relaxing although busy during main hours. Glad they have the extra time for guests only. ONLY COMPLAINT: We are a lesbian couple and attempted to trade...

The Resort was welcoming with a very nice room and thr Springs are small but intimare. In addition the first and last hour is reserved for guests of the Resort only. We were there for...
