Basic rooms with view are overpriced. Pools are the highlight but not very hot and very crowded. Poor restaurant service was the final straw. 2/5 and we won’t be back. Spend your hard earned $ somewhere else. Ocean front suites in Tofino rent for less per night and there are much nicer hot springs not to far away.

I was disappointed with my experience at the hot springs . The hot water pool was warm, the cool pool was cool. One of the two receptionists was crotchety. I have been going to Ainsworth hot springs for years, usually Easter weekend. This visit was discouraging. Won’t go back. There are other hot springs in the area

1st for what do they need reservations? more control? The pool was packed 60 people with reservations which shouldn't be! 2nd kids were splashing, diving, babies were crying. Parents don't care. This is not a swimming pool. I guess most people don't know what Hot Springs mean In Europe children under 12 are not aloud to enter "healing waters" (Spa/Wellness) Ainsworth have lots of cameras. No one from the resort seemed to care what is going on in the water. Just let parents now, please keep your kids quiet etc. 3rd The Caves - of course crowded and terribly darkly. We stumble over feet. You need an Headlight to go thru the cave. The floor is black - Why didn't they paint the floor white?? We paid $18 p.p. and they will raise prices in July. Open Wednesday-Sunday Anyway it was very noisy - we came to relax - but this was not an relaxing experience We prefer Nakusp and Halcyon Hot springs.

The hot springs were great! We paid for a lake view room though and we could hear all the walking and bathing that the people above us were doing till the wee hours and our room was ground level with cars driving by every few minutes right beside our balcony. Not what I was expecting for the price of the room. We also ordered a “rich tomato sauce” pasta dish that tasted like bbq sauce and our server avoided eye contact and took off on us before we could get our words out. Next time we will enjoy the beauty of the springs without staying the night.

I have been going to this Hot Springs for 50 plus years. I was very disappointed the last time I went, Showers were luke warm, Main Pools was the coolest I have ever experienced. As well the Cave was cooler than in the past. I'm not sure why but not worth the $$$ to sit in a luke warm pool. Also noticed many patrons coming out of the Changerooms not showering before entering the pool. No one from the Resort seemed to Care. Patrons probably not showering because the showers were barely Luke warm.

We are 70+ seniors arriving after our online booking expecting to pay $12.00 per senior as per your website We we’re told it was a flat price fee of $17.00 for all and I was on the wrong website Completely disrespectful and not willing to explain why the website I visited was wrong, check it out it still states children and seniors rates Attitude over the top they need to go somewhere other than the hospitality business they haven’t got a clue

Great experience until my wallet got stolen in the change rooms. Me and all my friends also all came down with the same illness at the same time the day after. Really too bad had a great time until then. Will not be coming back. Really too bad as this is the only hot springs in the area and it is by far the worst experience I have had.

Our room had a great lake view. It was clean, comfortable but pretty basic for the price. The pool was a joy and very relaxing. Although getting to it required walking through a maze of people changing and showering with zero privacy. Seems there is also an outside walkway that opens up near the elevator. The cave walk-through has the highest temperature. Try to find one of the few Jacuzzi type jets around the pool. It was crowded with no relief even after the 'public' hours ended. Later at 8pm about half the pool was still without wrist bands. There is no control of the 'guests only hours'. The Cast Iron Pork Chop entree served was a Tomahawk pork chop that was a couple inches larger than the plate diameter. It was sitting on a huge mound of stale whipped potatoes. The berries were quite hard and overpowered by the missing mushroom, strong off-tasting compote. The vegetables, two small asparagus, one thin carrot cut in half lengthwise and what may have been a radish, all tasted burned as if being near something burning. Disgusting mess. With limited options we ate what we could and remained cool with thoughts of the snacks in our room. Went to Kaslo for breakfast.

Experience is excellent. Room is good. All amenities are good. Suggest at least one more electric car charging station not near the front entrance (too crowded). A lack of other points of interest close by.

Crowded and dirty is all I can say. We used to come here 10 years ago and loved it then, it’s definitely gone downhill. The change rooms are covered in hair and really dirty. All the paint is peeling and fading around the pool. All manner of stuff floating around in the water. Just packed with people, gross. Take all that money you are raking in and upgrade!
