My hubby was working from May 15 to July 6. Had the most beautiful spot to pull the trailer into and Debbie and Brian are the ultimate hosts. We have also stayed at the B&B and had many work events there. I can't say enough about the service provided. Thank you so much and we will be back soon. Jim and Barb Purkiss

I had the pleasure of being gifted a night at the Island Cabin Getaway for my birthday and could not have imagined a better night away. The level of care and hospitality from Brian and Debbie is experienced the minute you pull into their beautiful property. After a golf cart ride down the lake, we loaded our canoe with our supplies and headed across the lake. There wasn't much we had to bring except food and clothing because they have virtually everything over there. The cabin is equipped with a small kitchen that houses a great amount of condiments, spices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The cabin and outdoor area is equipped with solar powered lights so you're not ever totally in the dark but it's just rustic enough that it still feels like you're somewhere between camping and glamping. There's a camp stove, barbecue and open fire pit to cook on so take your pick! Because the island is only accessible by canoe, you have tons of privacy for your getaway. We spent our time canoeing on the lake, sitting by the beautiful fire pit and staying cozy under the warmest of quilts in a cabin heated by wood stove. We could not stop talking about how there wasn't one thing we would change or add to make the trip any better. We're so lucky to have such a gem of a place, so close to Cold Lake. With very reasonable rates, a cozy cabin and tons of privacy, there is no doubt that we will be back. If you love the outdoors you will LOVE your stay here.

Beautiful place for outdoor functions. We pulled our large trailer out back to camp for the weekend for a family wedding. The hosts go above and beyond for everyone. We had relatives staying in the B&B and were looked after very well. We camped out back and saw the hosts regularly to check up on us and make sure we were looked after. Had rain during the ceremonies and again, the hosts were there to help us stay dry and put up tarps. Would definitely go back here!

Brian and Debbie made us feel so welcome and comfortable, they bent over backwards for us. My Grandson loved his breakfast, Debbie made him a huge breakfast to help prepare him for his Lacrosse tournament 🙂 We stayed in the Cottage room, it was very clean, quaint and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time at Hamilton House and highly recommend it!! Thank you Brian and Debbie for our wonderful experience!!

Spent a weekend with a group of fellow writers enjoying the beautiful yard with stream running through it, birds singing, as well as delicious breakfasts with a multitude of food choices. Stayed in the country room; liked having a private bathroom, comfy mattress, robe, and choice of pillows. The large gathering room was perfect for us to meet to share our writing and engage in group activities with beautiful natural light during the day, and a cozy fireplace at night. Debbie was a wonderful hostess, magically appearing to feed us or ensure the fire was stoked.
