We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. It was our first outing since the pandemic started and found the hotel clean and great for a short stay. We booked a suite which was nice to have the extra space and we found everything to be up to the normal Marriott standards.

I will always be annoyed that Marriott hotels don't offer water in the room nor safes at many of their properties. This is was never an issue with Starwood properties. Being the only Marriott hotel in the area we stayed there knowing it was a bit of a drive to Cold Lake so that we can earn the stay credits. We did like the fact that the casino is currently closed so that there was barely anyone around.

The restaurant was closed due to COVID and their pool was drained. Not sure if that's because of COVID or renovations. Overall we had a good stay and even though its a bit of a drive we would stay here again if returning to Cold Lake.

I really enjoyed my three night stay at the hotel. The rooms were immaculate, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the coffee was great. I’ve had to travel a bit for business since COVID started and this hotel was by far the best in terms of balancing protocols and still making you feel comfortable and welcome.

My little pup Rosie loved it too!

A beautiful stay to celebrate my son's birthday! The hotel staff were very attentive to us and our needs.

Their Birthday package includes:
A beautiful hotel room;
Banquet room complete with tables and chairs;
Pizza;
Cookies;
Juices; and
Private access to the pool and hot tub for 2 hours.

All of this for a great price! I highly recommend this hotel for business stays and birthdays.

I stayed in the hotel on an off for 3 weeks with my family. The room was not cleaned, I purchased my own cleaning supplies, when the cart was around I dropped off my own towels, got towels for my room and when the cleaning lady was around, I asked her to use the vacuum to clean the room. My family and I stayed for a bit and a few days before we left, I called the hotel to transfer me to my room to call the kids to come downstairs, I contacted the hotel and asked them for my room number and they said why do I need to call the room in a unprofessional manner. The girl that took my call was young. The last day of my stay, I forgot my room key upstairs and was asked a bunch of questions, the guy at the front asked for ID, which I forgot upstairs and asked how many beds, there were, how long were you here, how is the room paid for. He asked a few questions before he would give me access to my room, it was his first day back. The hotel is understaffed on weekends, but when you do need towels or anything, the evening clerks are great and security is good at getting you what you need. The cleaning staff is great, when you see them, they work hard. Other than that the woman manager is nice and provided me with great service, she works hard to ensure the hotel runs great and the breakfast was always fresh and tasted great!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 nights and my daughter and husband seemed to be getting more bites with each passing night, then I found what appeared to be blood on the sheets of the pull out couch in our room, the couch cushion had stains on it as well. The breakfast was good and hot and the staff in the kitchen were hard workers.
On the 3 day we ran out of toilet paper and I had to ask the staff fir more because during that 3 day period no one had come in to our room to replenish anything or empty any garbage. We went to the pool everyday and I guarantee the deck or the pool itself was never cleaned, I saw hair everywhere and bits from pool floaties that were there the night before were still there the next day. I really hope we haven't brought bed bugs back to our home.
On our next trip to Cold Lake I will look to stay elsewhere.

This hotel was very disappointing. Very dirty. The toilet was gross, shower floor black with dirt, floors were so dirty your indoor shoes stuck with every step. Washed bottom of shoes before leaving and the water coming off them was black. No closet doors worked, broken furniture. Elevators were filthy. Floors on main level were filthy, arrived on Wednesday left on Friday, nothing had been swept, mopped or vacuumed. Hot tub was very dirty. Do not recommend.

I stayed for one night on May 15, 2024. and I found that the room was very nice, clean and functional. We had a pleasant buffet breakfast in the lounge on the main floor and the conference space was very nice for the group of approximately 80 attendees. My only issue was with the elevators due to a very strong smell of sewage. There is obviously a sewer pipe leaking into the elevator shaft that needs to be fixed ASAP or people will stop staying at this wonderful hotel. The staff were excellent and I would stay there again.

Stayed on Buisness. The hotel was so clean and the entire staff was so outgoing and friendly , I felt like I was on vacation.The General Manager,Mr. Douglas Horner seems to be everywhrere really hands and always upbeat! The steps they are taking due to the Pandamic made me feel like Im in very good hands, I felt safe. The Market in the Lobby has great food and plenty of variety. Nice location, parking lot has lots of good lighting, rooms are beautiful , warm and cozy. Incedible art work throughout the Hotel.

Ill be back with my Family for Skiing this Winter.

The hotel was very well kept, and the staff was very friendly. What was lacking was parking lot security. Very frustrating to come to my truck in the morning to find that someone had attempted to break into it. They tried sticking a screw driver through the door handle key hole, and damaged it. It was parked very close to the entrance door, and there was numerous signs that said there is video surveillance. Spoke with the front desk to see if there is any footage, but they had too defer to a manager who was not in yet. The manager was to call me back in regards to if they saw anything or not. No call so far.

The front staff were very friendly and prompt. Our family was very comfortable in our 2 queen room. The hotel has beautiful, local artwork, lovely decor, and is very clean. Our breakfast in the hotel was delicious, and the service was friendly and quick. Our kids enjoyed the pool facilities, while we enjoyed their hot tub. When there were only two pool towels left, staff promptly came and provided more. The only drawback from our room was the slow-running drain of the bathroom sink, and that the water splashes out onto the floor from the shower (a very fancy, large open shower, but it has no door). Other than that, we were extremely pleased with our experience.
