Detailed Reviews
The design of the hotel is nice, but there's always the feeling of not finished work. In our room there were uncovered cables on the walls and there was a fresh paint smell persisting.
We had all inclusive and the restaurant wasn't their own, we had to go to a neighboring 2* hotel to eat. But it was not so bad.
The hotel is NOT in Golden Sands, you need to get the bus to go there.
Don't go to the beach on foot, the village is FULL of stray dogs and they are very big and scary. We had the unpleasant surprise in the first day and since then we used the funicular only.
The seats on the beach were included in all inclusive, but they were always busy. There was a guy who was renting them and we needed to pay for them. After we complained to the manager, the problem was solved.
There is literally nothing to do in this village, only stay on the beach, witch wasn't so nice. We went to Varna everyday and we had lots of fun. It's a nice city to visit.

Nice hotel, but the services are very poor. We booked the hotel on booking and requested, if possible, to get a room with a view. We didn’t have any view but that’s ok.
What was not however:
- some days before coming we got a message that they do not perform cleaning services and towel changes unless requested and paid extra. Basically in 5-6 days of staying there, they never changed the towels or emptied the trash bins:
- the hotel is in total darkness. All the lights are off, both outside and inside
- very poor English. They only speak 2-3 words in English. The lady at the reception desk spoke to us in Bulgarian and was expecting us to understand 🤣:
- we read in the booking reviews that there is a cable car to go to the beach. They said at the hotel that it’s not working. Good thing we had the car otherwise it would’ve taken us 15-20 mins on foot to go down the hill, who knows how long to come back:
- we also read on booking that they have free Sun beds for customers. We went to their beach (had their name on it), the guys there said there is no such thing as free sun beds and mocked me for mispronouncing the name of the hotel, like I speak Bulgarian.
The hotel is nice however, beds and cosy and rooms are nice overall, with separate Wi-Fi in each room which was nice, but the services are very poor

+1
Lovely building. We enjoyed our apartment which featured 90 sq. meters of space, two bedrooms, spacey bathroom, full kitchen with fridge, oven plate, cupboards, and washing machine. It was a pleasant surprise that there was cable seat system that takes you to the beach within minutes in a nice air flight.
We were very excited to visited Bulgaria for the first time ever so disregarded minor imperfections. Honestly, I don't see much of a reason to complain about that the swimming pool was shared with another building apparently under the same management. Did you come to Bulgaria for a swimming pool? The pool was okay.
Breakfasts were simple but the food was good. Yes, not very consistent room cleaning but we talked to the lady directly and always got what we asked for.
Summarizing, the hotel is best for a lengthy stay in Bulgaria when you come for the sunshine, great beach, and low prices. Preferably, come by car but cab is cheap enough too.

The car park is the worst and the staff is really rude and unfriendly. I tried using the car park and by seeing only that and the looks of all of it I will never visit this hotel. Speaking as a Bulgarian, visiting of the premises was one of the worst experiences I ever had.

We made the mistake of booking a one bedroom suite for two adults and a 4 year old in this gorgeous looking builduing for two nights. First off we didnt pay attention to the no dogs policy of the hotel as we are used to never having problems with our two cocker-spaniel puppies. On arrival we went into the building just to find absolute emptiness and silence. We waited a while at the front desk and realized that no one is coming. We were expected to check in on the other side of the little plaza area at the reception of a miserable looking 2 star hotel filled with dissatisfied Russian tourists. The receptionist didnt speak or seem to even understand a word of English or German. We were told in the most unfriendly way to pay for our our room right away which we did. A funny addition to this was the died blond lady in the back of the reception, sitting there in silence like a statue or rather guard dog (later it turned out she was the deputy manager). All together it must have taken at least half an hour until everything was settled and we were escorted to our room in the main building. The room and the terrace were clean and nice, the elevator ok and the view absolutely stunning, would it not be for the unfinished cement carcases of apartment blocks or hotels scattered all around. The bed small and obviously of the cheapest kind, but clean and ok.
5 minutes later the door bell rings and the garage boy and another lady enter the room to tell us that we cannot stay here with dogs and our money would not be refunded. Our nerves were at the end and a long and unpleasant argument ensued, all made even more difficult due to their lack of any language skills or simple understanding of how to treat customers in a more or less respectful way. We felt treated like street dogs that needed to get kicked off the property, we were later shown where our dogs were aloud to exist, on an empty street 200m from the property, not belonging to anybody as the hotel beeing built there was unfinished and left to rot since many years. To top it all off we saw a family with two dogs come in to the openair restaurant of the hotel to which we were told that they are friends of the owner and thus can do as they wish. In other words you will probably not have problems like us if you visit without dogs or are friends with the owners, but the lack of simple social skills of the staff, not to mention education as hoteliers is simply astonishing in this place. It is also not in Golden Sands itself at all but on a back street somewhere in Chaika! The garage is an aboslute nightmare for larger cars, we have never seen a more rediculous layout anywhere in the world with only mm left on either side of the car to pass through to the parking space and no space to turn around if more than 3 cars are parked. We will certainly avoid this "palace" even if we do return to the area, which I doubt..

Booked with one way transportation, free wi-fi, 3.6 km from golden sands center
Surprised with very bad location...it is very far.
wi-fi is not working
No phone in the rooms, i have to go for the reception that is common with another hotel for any request.
Befor confirm booking i requested departure transportation, he read the special request and answered for other issues, so this means transportation is confirmed, but when i arrived he told me that this service is just for arrival.. eventhough he read my request befor booking and confirmed. After some discussion i noticed that he is a big liar and unhonest person.
I booked just 2 hours befor arriving after calling the hotel and informed them please i want to pay cash,so please dont charge my card and they said yes...also i was surprised that they charged me.
The pool is very very old and common with another hotel, with only around 20 sunbeds for the 2 hotels' guests, so you will not find one..
Breakfast is very poor. With very bad place, even no inside room.
And many many bad issues, but the main disgusting point is this liar manager.

Negative points: NO pool, the only pool is at next door hotel which is a 2 star hotel, and that pool is a 2 star standards.
No restaurant, only a small outside place, which you cannot consider as a restaurant. The food was brought from the next door 2 star hotel. We've been all inclusive, but the food was very poor. Only a chicken soup every single day, and in it we found feathers...
NO drinking choices at all inclusive, again you had to go at the hotel next door for a glass a wine or a beer.
The reception employees doesn't speak English and is very hard to communicate with them.
NO entertainment, although we've been at the hotel in July.
The location is very remote, if you don't have a car is very hard to visit the surroundings.
Positive: the hotel building is a very nice construction.

I travelled a lot, but this location was amazing. With 4 huge pools, arabic style, cleanliness and only 3 minutes away from the beach, a wonderful bar with excellent cocktails.
It is a self catering location, with studios and apartments that range from 40 sq m. You can also choose to eat at the location.
