I haven't been to Bulgaria in a while, and I mostly stayed in 3 stars hotels so I know what I'm talking about while reviewing this hotel. One of the most considerable flaws was the room service. Not only the room was cleaned rarely, it was also cleaned partially. Besides that, I heard some tourists say their room was cleaned really good, in time, and almost each day. As mentioned before, the pool lifeguard was sunbathing and roaming mostly around the lobby area, listening music on his phone, paying little attention to the pool area. These were the only flaws I experienced and witnessed on my stay at Perunika. The food was great and tasty and the food choice was on point everyday. The personnel was kind, friendly, respectful and helpful, especially the receptionists and the lobby bar guys. The restaurant area personnel were really quick at cleaning up the dishes and managing their duties. We had an appartment room, and it really had everything you could ask from a 3 stars hotel. The lobby bar provided really good cocktails and alcohol, but too bad it was closing at 10:30 PM. Overall it's a 4/5 from me, a good 3 stars hotel, at a decent price. …
I got back yesterday from a 10 day stay at the Perunika hotel with my 8 year old son. We had a great time and found the hotel so convenient to everything that you need to do in Golden Sands just 5 minutes walk from the beach and all the restaurants, shops and nightspots. We even walked to the water park. I was pleased that considering the location, It wasn't loud at all at night. The pool isn't huge but adequate for me and my son, and there are plenty of loungers available though if you love the sun like I do, you have to move a couple of times to get the ones in the sun. The sun also goes behind the hotel at 5ish so the pool is completely in the shade, but luckily our balcony faced the front of the hotel and so we could enjoy more sun from there after 5. The room was clean and tidy, we only booked bed and breakfast which was a buffet and fine for us both with a choice of hot, cold, cereal, pancakes etc. Staff were fine though I would suggest that all need customer service training. The first morning at breakfast a lady that looked like a manageress was having a huge shouting match with a man in the restaurant in front of all the guests! Often the lights are turned off at 10.00 when breakfast finished even if you are eating! Staff just seem to not understand service in my opinion (I manage many front line staff). The lifeguard is a nice guy but he sunbathed not watching the pool when he was there, though often he wasn't even around which isn't great! Overall I was happy for the money I spent and would recommend this hotel to others.…
Friendly receptionist Free wifi in the lobby Nice pool Delicious and healthy food Clean rooms You can find a 24/7 near markets Some strip club in front of the hotel 1 min walking away from the beach Free usage of the fridge and the AC inside the room Nice hotel to spend your vacation
Rooms were clean, food acceptable but food services extremely poor. Food was moved in front of the guests from one tray to another in a very disgusting manner, plates and cutlery dirty, line food set up not convenient for guests creating confusion ( to get plates and cutlery you were supposed to cut the cue because it was in the middle of the food line). The staff was looking careless and extremely unhappy to help customers . Overall we had all inclusive but we ended having meals paid outside the hotel. The life guard from thee pool was drunk most of the day and it was rarely seen at work. Free wi-fi very slow pushing customers to pay for a decent service. Reception staff quite efficient though.
We went for 2 nights. We made the reservations on booking for 3 double rooms and we received the apartaments. The room was clean. The breakfast was tasty with many different things to eat(sausage, eggs boiled, scrambled, cheese, tomatoes etc.). It is also near markets, bar&clubs.
I find it difficult to accept rude guests overfilling plates, then leaving most to waste. Drunks guests throwing food at breakfast, Toast costs 15 minutes of your life. Lifeguard (Bademeister) sleeps most of the day, gets up, plays table-tennis then retires to the bar. Forget the Germans, the Romanians don't bother getting up early to save sunbeds, they reserve them with towels for a week! Parking is a lottery. Take some bricks with you to traverse the kerb onto the grassy parking area.
We were in this hotel about 7 or 8 years past. (August 2006) It was clear and comfortable. All of staffs were polite. We had an all inclusive room with 5 per food and free drink. It was on center of Golden Sand and near to marketing. I suggest you go to this hotel.
