We have been here a week. Bed and breakfast. Same everyday. But fine and eatable. Staff are friendly, we are british. And we spoke to them. And they spoke english back to us, we had a room on the 6th floor, sea view and pool view, it was spacious, and for a budget hotel , it was ok. Bed comfy ,shower powerful. Lifts are small, 2 people but never had to wait long .Drinks in golden sands are cheap, but eating out isnt, more expensive than in the uk at times, the beach is sandy. And there were alot of places closing down for the end of season. The perla hotel. Is in a quiet area, not a bad walk down to the front. But back up. Its hard going, got a taxi back sometimes, the hotel does charge for sunbeds around the pool if not all inclusive, 5 levs each £2.50 which i ve never known before, but go get a cushion there not extra, the pool was nice and clean. No broken tiles its crazy paving, pool toilets and a medical centre right by the pool. the hotel does not have any disabled facilities, no entertainment at all. No kids club. Its not a bad place to stay for the money you pay. Its been mixed weather, but had a relaxing time .…
The staff was so serviceminded and nice. At arrival and the The breakfast was perfect, and the hotel is in the middle of everything. We stayed for 3 nights and I will come back for sure! Enjoyed my stay! Thank’s!!
Me and the misis went all inclusive to this horrible hotel, the receptionist called Toni old women has been so disrespectful since we've been here, sat in the food area had something to eat and it was defiantly the last time I eaten in there! Disgusting.. it's defiantly put me off to come back to Bulgaria for anouther holiday, can honestly say it will be the last time I come to Bulgaria, am a polite lad an spoke to the women with respect and all she did was spoke to me like crap! If your British do NOT book this hotel, if your Dutch or German you should be fine, the pool is disgusting it never gets cleaned out!, told the cleaners to clean our room and they didn't even change the towels or bed sheets they just folded the towel up and it still had the brown stain I seen before!, the cleaners don't really clean we was still seeing the same bugs what we killed our selfs and they wasn't moved after they cleaned, an as for all inclusive everything taste waterd down, no sprits inclued and the beer tasted like water! BRITSHISH AVOID THIS HOTLE IT WILL PUT YOU OFF!!..…
The staff are lovely, it's a very cheap and cheerful hotel. Foods local, but never hot always warm. They don't do alot of fresh fruit water melon or plums and a couple of times peaches. The all inclusive is a joke they have 3 bars, but all inclusive have to go to a separate room for drinks. You can't have fresh fruit juice for breakfast they don't have it. The cleaners are very lazy they put clean towels in daily but don't clean and very rarely make the beds. All that said we had a great time it's close to the bus stop for Varna bus costs 3lev, a short walk to the beach and shops.
1st thing I want to state is that we are not a fussy family. We always adapte and take everything as it come but I'm writing this review while I'm still here to prevent anybody booking this hotel 1. Firstly it's NOT a all inclusive hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have a 2.5 hour slot and there is no snacks in between. The AI bar doesn't open until 11am so you can't get any kind of drink including water unless you have it from breakfast. The alcohol drinks are beer and wine only. All spirits and cocktails are extra. 2. We are not fussy eaters but we struggled eating the same food everyday. There is no verity just different styles of serving the same food. There is no structure to meal times, people just push in front of you it could be a better lay out. The food is not terrible it's edible but it's always the same. The restaurant staff are very pleasant and friendly apart from when idiots stop them from doing their jobs. 3. The bedrooms are nice and big with big beds but you only get 1 pillow and they could be a lot cleaner. We bought bleach to clean the room, maids came everyday and our bedding was changed. There is nice deep baths and powerful showers. Also a fridge in the room is cold. 4. Unless you are AI then you have to pay for your beds and umbrellas which are 8lv per day. There is always beds so no having to get up at stupid o'clock to get one. 5. Now I've saved the best til last. If you want to be shouted at like your 5 years old and told off then this is the place for you!! The lifeguard if that's what you can call her and also the male lifeguard are 2 of the most rudist people I've met. On our 1st day we was shouted at and I mean shouted not a quite word. Shouted at for swapping a broken bed. Then it just went down hill ftom there. Nicky the female lifeguard would shout at you for breathing. Her attitude was terrible. Its Her rules or the pool gets shut and she actually shuts the pool!! My husband kicked up a fuss and had it reopened but it's her way or the high way. People are scared to move around the pool because they are scared of being told off. It ruined our holiday for us!! I can't believe she is aloud to behave this way and speak to paying guests the way she does. She smokes around the pool, she sits doing her hair and make up. He was sitting listening to music while listening to music on her head phones? How would she hear anybody in destress with head phones on? Totally shocking. We are still here writing this review because this hotel is terrible and I would hate for anybody to waste their money by booking this place. We only heard 2 other English people so this hotel is not for English. I can't stress enough that we are not fussy people and we always try to make good of a bad situation but if i can stop one family from coming here then my review was worth writing.…
Spent a week in Park Hotel Perla and it was okay, nothing special and nothing to complaint about too. Great place for people who don’t want to stay next to the ‘party area’ but be close to the taverns, shops, bus stop and beach.
We did spend a week at Perla hotel, and will definately warn people about this hotel. Ok, if you're on a very tight budget, you can live with a very tired hotel, bed bugs, cheap breakfast (I even got sick), and not helpful staff. Room cleaners do their best, but they have too much to work with. Poor them. They promote this as a 2-star hotel, it's not, it's a 1-star hotel. We booked a room for 3 people. What you get are 2 beds + 1 hard "sofachair" made into something they claim is a bed. Still we paid the same price. Shame on Ving that didn't understand and helped us with this when we complained. It's not Ving worthy, really! No more Ving for us, and no more Perla Hotel.
Good points first, the room was clean. Now for the rest ,the room was the smallest we have had ,you were unable to open the bathroom door and the wardrobe door at the same time. The shower unit was so small I was unable to bend over to wash my feet without opening the cubicle doors and I am only 5'7''.We were on a half board basis but the food was bland and lacked choice with the same dishes being put out everyday. The two small lifts constantly were not working and we were on the sixth floor.Sunbeds around the pool cost £3.50 pppd the only other place to sit was the poolbar but you then had to buy a drink even if you wre all inclusive.
First of all, this hotel is located in eastern europe and in general it applies that the hotels hold a class lower than that stated, a three-star is then a two-star etc. Perla park hotel is good budget hotel, it is clean and tidy. The staff are nice and helpful but some of the older ones are poor in English and try to avoid speaking English. The buttler Marek and the guys at the pool bar are very good in English and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is good. The rooms and balcony are spacious but the beds are slightly hard and the rooms have poor soundproofing (the rooms are responsive). The restaurant serves a simple buffet dinner but it is very affordable when paying for "all inclusive" , 15 Bulgarian leva which is less than a Big Mac meal cost in Golden Sands. The pool area is completely and clean. If the sunbeds are not included in the room, they cost 5 leva. The hotel has a very good masseur who works next to the pool area.…
Nice big hotel, good view from the balcony and live concert at dinners. Close to the imitation of Eiffel Tower from BUlgarian riviera beach. NIce waiters, nice receptionists; nice terase with music and live concerts at dinner evening time.
