We visited this hotel at the end of August, the first bad impression was the receptionist, who gave us to fill in COVID declarations, which she herself was not very familiar with the content. It was hard to find the hotel even with GPS, but there is a private parking and it is free for hotel guests. We was on HB, so we started up with dinner, restaurant is big and clean, they provide guests masks and gloves, whenever they are in the food area, great variety of everything, the chef stays there and observe, whenever anything finished it’s fulfilled, if anything’s drops in the floor immediately is picked up and thrown in to the garbage, it was never crowded there. Since drinks are not included in HB, except for “cold drink” and water, the staff from the bar were very kind and talkative. Unfortunately, that might be the only + for our stay. Hotel is old but renovated, although you have like 4 floors without an elevator, we knew that, but we saw that there were some staff taking the luggage of foreign tourist, we picked up our on our own. The room was spacious, but WIFI is really poor, TV is like 5 channels, there is NO hairdryer in the bathroom! Pool closes at 5 p.m. so is the kids playground. The way to the beach is not very pleasant I have to say. Anyway, although tall mentioned above, we were ready to stay 2 more nights, at reception gives up a price and we agreed, later on the same night they call and told us a different price, so we left. I don’t know if we would go at this hotel again. If you like Golden Sands and are looking for good food, may be that is your place.

Hotel is very very nice. Very clean and big room, big balcony terrace, A/C, tv, very comfortable bed ( much better then I have ). It's all included style, we always had access for beverages and food/ snacks. Big Big thanks for restaurant/kitchen attendees. Food was very tasty and fresh, for my 1.5 year old boy was no problem to find what to feed with. It was always fresh fruits on the table. There are 2 pools on territory ( adult and kids), playground outside and inside, pool bar and lobby bar, 2 sun deck. Location is very comfortable: closest shop in 3 min walk, bus 409 goes all way through Varna ( 3 big shopping centers/ center of the city) to airport ( takes like 40 min ). Road to beach takes 10 min through park. Beach is private and comfortable.
Free Alcohol in bar is local, and high quality ( never had and headaches at all, .y recommendation is Rose and Vermouth).
It was 1st vacation with my small boy and I'm very very satisfied with all help and attention we had from people in hotel.

The hotel is well placed for bars, restuarants etc and especially for the bus stop.Clean tidy and reasonable bar prices. Friendly staff and adequate breakfast served. Quiet location.
The evening meal is poor both for quality and variety. Much better to go B&B and eat out at the many cheap restuarants. Be wary of the local taxi drivers, their prices are good but they give "duff gen" about the times and frequency of the buses

Our biggest mistake was that we were careless enough not to read one bad reviews. Different people have different priorities. The reason we came to Bulgaria is to enjoy beach time at the Black Sea. In reality, the hotel access to the beach is non existent. In order to get to the beach, you have to be up early in the morning to obtain a pass to the beach. Passes run out quickly since they only have 75 seats available for our hotel. After 6 pm guests from this hotel are not permitted to the”private beach” even with the pass. This hotel is for you if you don’t really like to spend time at the beach but rather spend time at their tiny pool. Be prepared to take stairs because there’s no elevator . It starts only on the 3rd floor and you have to carry your luggage yourself. Our vacation is ruined now not entirely though because we will be renting a car and driving around in search of an easy access to the beach.
All in all, the word of advice, better go to Spain for a cheap and quality beach time, avoid this place at all cost.

We like this hotel. We were there in September with family. So no much guests, no noisy, a lot of tasty food. Big and clean familyroom. Very big balconies. Nice view on the garden. Nice beach with free zone. Beautiful park near hotel. Next time I will return in this hotel in the same time at autumn..))

me and my partner stayed at the hotel grandina for aweek end of june begining of july.
we arrived quite late(be really careful if u don't have transfers we got ripped off with the taxi to hotel!!).the hotel is approx 30km from the airport.
the hotel was in a good location as it is right at the end of the strip of bars and restaurants. It wasn't to busy or loud. Reception were really helpful, spoke good english.we were shown to are room for the week.the lift is on the 4th floor so be aware that theres some struggle if you are any higher than 4th floor everyday with towels etc.
rooms are basic but clean.we didnt really have a good few from balcony. just trees!! although to the left you could see the sea whcih is a 10 min walk.
theres no air con and well it was very hot! there is air con downstairs in reception and bar.
the bar inside is great! victor works very hard!! its open 24hours aday.the bar by the pool is open till 11.
the pool is small and covered by afew trees so there is bits in it sometimes!! but great for cooling down in! theres also a giant chess board for the kids to play with and a little play area for them. Im not sure that theres much for young children(but thats just my opinion!) theres ALOT of bars, night clubs pub crawls and we did see a few call girls at one end of the street very near the night clubs!
overall the hotel was good if you are just using it for somewhere to shower and sleep. the one thing the hotel really missed was some entertainment,it seemed every hotel had entertainment(all be it some dodgy kareoke!) but it really missed something at night.

Booked an apartment here for 3 people.
The bedroom had a very very firm mattress - not the most relaxing sleep. For the third person there was a folding armchair - again not very relaxing.
However the rooms were big, clean at check-in, a small kitchenette and a large balcony with a nice view.
The strange thing about the hotel - no elevator till the 4th floor, but there is somebody that will help you to carry the luggage.
Cleaning - only changing the towels - no vacuum cleaner (which I consider to be important for a seaside hotel), no toilet paper
Reception people - polite, but nothing more.
Breakfast was poor - quality and variety - questionable
Location - a 10-15 min walk to the beach

Answer from Hotel Gradina G
Varna, Bulgaria
Sorry, we have one-bedroom apartments. The apartments are consisted of 2 rooms – living room with kitchenette and upholstered furniture-1 extensible sofa and 1 extensible armchair and 1 bedroom with double bed. So of you agree 2 of you should sleep in the bedroom and the other 2 in the living room. The family rooms won't be suitable for you because the Family room is one big room studio type but not 2 rooms connected with door. In the family room there are 2 double beds or one big double bed, one extensible sofa and one extensible armchair. So I think the better choice for you is to take 2 double rooms.Have a nice day! I hope I was helpful!
