We spent 3 nights at Grifid Vistamar.
The hotel is beautiful, modern with spacious rooms.
We travelled with our 4 years old girl and she really enjoyed the animation program. The girls from animation team are really nice and friendly, encouraging all the kids to join them .
Our daughter spend more time with Ana, the romanian girl from the animation team. Ana was very attentive and did her best to help our daughter enjoy spending time there.
We tried to make a reservation for a la carte restaurants and we were told the restaurants are fully booked in advance, which is not fair.
The reservations must be done in the morning, for the evening, not at the beginning of the holiday.
After we discussed with the manager from guest services and asked her to explain this policy , she made a reservation at a la carte restaurant, for one night.
There is a problem with the private beach, the sun beds are not enough for all the guests and the drinks from the beach bar are low quality ( even water had a weird taste, we preferred to buy bottles from supermarket).
I think Vistamar is one of the best hotels in the area so , please try to keep the standards high, cause I think they have been lowered!

Hotel is really good located and with high quality of services re bars, restaurats and cleaning service. However reception desc - the place which should be the first impresion for the guest the highest need to be improved. The ladies at the reception desk are not pleased and seems to be there for some panishment like someone fors them to work here. Any request was a problem, and even if the preened too sort something always took them so much time, and they never smiled to the customers. And any request taken by them take ages to be solve. Really disapointing service. The best was the roof top swimming pool with amazing view for the Golden Sand panorama and chill and quite but the rules and availability are not clear enough and you are not able to book this access in advance which require from you to go to the reception each morning and ask about accessibility. Food in restaurant was really good and if you do not have to go to the mind restaurant just book the served restaurant for each day - this is the best option to get amazing experience with high class service!!! Really recommended. After 4 days in the hotel when new groups of guest arrived I had a feeling that in the hotel was 100% rooms booked. Was really croudy everywhere.

Last week we visited this absolutely amazing hotel. The hotell and all in the staff impressed us very much. We paid extra for "Grifid Concept" and that's worth it for sure! By that we had access to the roof top with the infinity pool, no children allowed under 16 y.o.and fine dining food.
The room we got with "Grifid Concept" was the best with black sea view. All in the staff were very helpful but the staff at the roof top did that little extra, always smiling, always happy, always helful.
Cleaning of the room were perfect with funny/cute towel foldings like hearts, flowers etc. every day. Mini bar were included, no extra charge. The bed is king size and we slept very well.
We will come back for sure!

The staff was so not friendly! It took us more than an hour to find a parking spot. The front desk staff sent us to look for parking at other hotels. We arrived there at 8:30 AM, we asked for an early check in (we were traveling with a 1 year old kid). We were told that the early check in fee is 40 BGN per person, but we won't be guaranteed a room before 2:00 PM. They said we have to pay the early check in fee first, and then they will tell us when (if any) room is available before 2:00 PM. I checked 3 times in the following 5 hours with front desk to see if our room is ready (we coold see many many people checking out pretty early in the morning, so we hoped a room will be avilable any time soon). I told them I will pay the early checkin in fee, we just need the room as our kid was tired and needed to sleep. Everytime I asked, they said we have to pay the fee and then they will check if the room is available. At 1:50 PM, they said the room is available, but he still have to pay the early check in fee (for getting the room 10 minutes earlier). Having the all-inclusive booking, the mini-bar items were included in the room rate. One they, we didn't get the water replenished, so I tried to contact the front desk to ask for water, as we were out of it. I called 3 times (it was 8:00 AM), but no one answered. I went to the lobby, to find the front desk agent playing games on his phone (he was simply not in the mood to take phone calls). I asked for water and he said the room service will bring water in the afternoon. I insisted that we are thirsty now and we didn't get the water the they before, and I kindly asked him to call some one to bring us some water. He said it's not his responsability to do that. The restaurant tables were never cleaned, they simply changed the plates and silverweare after one guest left, and that was it (no wiping at all). One day, the seafood paella smelled very bad and the shrimps had a weird texture (like masshed potatoes).
The beach was not very cleaned (lot of trash in the sand).
People came early in the morning to "reserve" beach beds by putting their towels on the bed and then they would leave the beach and come back 4-5 hours later. At 8:30 AM when we arrived to the beach, there was no beach bed available, even though there was hardly any people on the beach.
The beach bar staff was also not very friendly: we asked for ice at 5:58 PM, and the bartender said they closed the beach service and throw the ice in the sink, in front of us. He prefered to do that, instead of simply give us some of he ice he just threw away.
The beach was not very cleaned (lot of trash in the sand).

Unfortunately, the hotel does not even deserve the title of ultra all inclusive. The room was immature and everything means minibar, towels, bathroom supplies for 1 person, although we made the reservation for 3 adults. The bedding was not ironed, it looked as if it had been used. We had to go twice to the reception for someone to come and fill with the bedding for the third person. The beach is very dirty, the sunbeds are not disinfected. The staff is malicious and even aggressive and with little respect for customers. Aloooo, the management, we pay for ultra all inclusive, not for portions and arrogance !!! We work the money we pay to make fun of its guest !!!

We are still at this hotel since the 7 th of August.
It does not deserve the 4 stars ..maybe 3 because of the infinity pool .
A handful of people speak english, they do not have any honey to sweeten a drink , the infinity pool ( although we have UAL ) costs 24 leva/day /person , the parking is also with a fee -10leva/day , no spots at the pool or the beach , very poor food buffet at the main restaurant , we couldn't find a free table by reservation at the a la carte restaurant either , there is no kids pool and every kid is in the main pool, the music from the evening show is so loud that it is impossible to sleep , everyone treats us like sh.t ! It s horrible! DO NOT PAY FOR THIS HOTEL

The reception staff was terrible, especially the older blonde manager. Although the website says that the a la carte restaurants are part of the ultra all inclusive offer, only after you make a reservation it is specified that you can make a reservation only if you stay at least 5 nights in the hotel. Besides that, we booked two rooms with a sea view and to our surprise none of them HAD A SEA VIEW. Both were located on the corner, one of them had a view of the umbrellas, and the other an "amazing" wall view. When we asked to change the rooms, we were told that all the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done, but after we said that we were willing to pay for an upgrade, a room was found. Shady. The hospitality leaves a lot to be desired. I have traveled all over the world, but I've never encountered such problems with the hotel staff. In addition to that, on the website the price for the upgrade was 60 euros/room, a price that was also communicated to us bu the hotel stuff on the day we requested the upgrade, and upon departure the lady from the reception wanted to charge us double - 120 euros, and the manager did not recognize that she confirmed this price on the first day (although this price was also on the hotel's website). I mention that I was at this hotel last year and I was very satisfied, and the staff was very good. Too bad for a hotel that doesn't deserve such a bad review, because it looks really good, but these small inconveniences make me give a very low score. I would still advise the staff to learn to be more hospitable and to speak English better. Especially the ladies at the reception, who always come into contact with people. On a more positive side - thanks to Adrean who was really nice to us and deserve 5 stars, also as I mentioned the hotel is great, the beach is really clean and the food is pretty decent, also the infinity pool is amazing - we saw a grest sunrise from there.

This year.. We decided to come to Vistamar. Big mistake

Staff...some of them pretty rude. One of them spoke very disrespectful to me and my gf. We took it to the management, of course nothing happened
They don't even bother to shake your cocktail.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this hotel, marked by a series of unpleasant issues. The biggest source of dissatisfaction was the fact that we were given a completely different room from the one we had originally booked. We had opted for a "concept" room, but instead, we were placed in another "concept" room, which turned out to be a "Double Sea View," setting a rather awkward tone for our stay.
An extremely unpleasant aspect that we noticed was the predominance of Romanian guests who had chosen this "concept" room and received the exact same service as us, despite our initial reservation. It seems that most Romanians were lucky enough to book after everyone else, and the hotel no longer had the desired rooms available (even though we had made our reservation five months in advance). This created an atmosphere of noticeable differentiation from other nationalities present at the hotel, which did not contribute to a pleasant experience.
We were forced to make numerous complaints at the reception, talk to the front desk manager, and even interact with the marketing department in an attempt to get the room we had originally reserved. It was only after speaking with the head manager that we finally received the desired room.
Another problem was related to the amenities included in the "concept" room package. In the first room we were assigned, we found that there was a significant difference in the complimentary items, such as the beach bag, which was much smaller than the one we received in the subsequent room (half the size). This indicated a lack of attention to detail and an obvious attempt to cut costs at the expense of guest comfort.
Furthermore, we were unfortunate to discover that in the initial room we were placed in, the window was partially tilted, creating a gap between the window and the wall. We reported this issue to the reception on the first evening, but subsequent interventions did not resolve the problem. We had to improvise by inserting a piece of cardboard under the window to close the gap and ensure an acceptable sleeping environment.
Another negative aspect was the absence of bathroom ventilators, which led to unpleasant odors, and at times, sewer smells from the showers. This negligence only added to our frustrations during our stay.
Finally, what bothered me the most was overhearing a comment from the staff during their discussion with some drunk customers of a different nationality, stating that we were dissatisfied and complained for no reason, and making derogatory remarks about Romanians being notorious heavy drinkers and not knowing any better. This discriminatory and offensive comment left us feeling cornered and disrespected. All customers should be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of their nationality.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this hotel, and I suggest that everyone should voice their concerns and stand up for themselves when receiving inadequate services. Our money holds the same value as that of customers from more renowned countries, and we deserve a quality experience just like anyone else.

There was an error in the system, which resulted in the wrong room allocation. We tried to do our best to resolve the situation on the spot. Unfortunately, one day before our departure, we received disappointing news that the hotel we had booked would be closing in the third week of our vacation (first week of October). So we had the option of spending 2 weeks in one hotel and one week in the Grifid Vistamar. We decided to spend the 3 weeks in the Grifid. We were given a concept room with access to the roof terrace. We really enjoyed that. Spending early mornings, lunchtimes and several evenings up there in peace and quiet - that's what vacation is all about. Unfortunately, check-in didn't work at all, we waited 5 hours for our room, so the day was ruined. The towels were also changed very slowly and had to be asked for constantly, which got annoying at some point. The staff were all very friendly and polite! The main restaurant is like a train station hall, loud and crowded and the food didn't taste good at all. So we booked through the available restaurants, and they were all really great! It was quiet and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, almost all of the hotels closed in the third week. As a result, it was packed with all kinds of clientele (from loud and drunken Englishmen to partying Germans who just wanted to get drunk). It's a shame about this beautifully renovated hotel. Bulgaria unfortunately made a mistake by putting one hotel next to the other. In such bed-and-breakfasts, unfortunately, there is no good relaxation factor. The bottom line is that once in Bulgaria is enough.
