Our family, 2 adults and child, spent a relaxing 7 nights vacation here at Continental Hotel. The hotel was recently updated and everything looks new. The room was large, very confortable, spotless clean, having new furniture and wonderful sea view. Wi-fi is free of charge. We highly appreciated the swimming pool with salty water and the spacious terrace. The food was diverse, fresh and tasty and the personnel was very friendly and helpful, always at turists' disposal. Being our first vacation in Golden Sands, it was pleasant and relaxing stay and exceed our expectations. Many thanks to all staff members for the pleasant vacation and for the wonderful surprise on the evening of our 25th wedding anniversary! We will come back for sure! We highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel in Golden Sands for 5 nights. The hotel is in a perfect location close to the beach and restaurants. The room was nice and clean with aircon, with a sea view and balcony that was perfect for gazing at the sea. The entire staff were very friendly, and always wanted to make sure we had all that we needed. We loved our stay here.
The food was absolutely delicious - wonderfully varied with the freshest foods available, including homemade cakes. Special thanks to the chef Tihomir Stoyanov and his family, they are special people and are much of what make this property a place I would return to again and again.Highly recommend!! We'll be back!

Hello I’m Irina and I’ve got to make a complain unfortunately for my experience with the Continental Hotel staff; 1, I’ve booked in 9.08.2020 a holiday between 24-29 / 08/20 for 2 rooms (2 families) at that time the Hotel sent me the confirmation email and been asking me for full filling information about the people who have gonna be into, on arrival the reception told me that I still have to pay for 2 people more just because they didn't made their job properly to read the information about, I had to check my mail again and prove to them that they did wrong by asking and taking more money from me. After two days I went to the reception to get done with the payment but surprise no one changed the mistake in the system and again we went back to the beginning with the same issue, to be honest was a really stressful time this holiday haven’t any rest gave me headaches still issues with the payment at this moment. 2. at the dinner time in my dessert I found a big piece of paper, I was shocked, I showed it to the waiter( supervises) she took the plate without to bring any excuse but in the end she comes with another cake without asking me if I like that kind of stuff or not. I’m really disappointed and I expected to have a solution for it. I don’t recommend it. It’s your money, pay attention. Thank you Kind regards. Sent from my iPhone

Pro: - The room was clean, the bed was very comfy. - The food was diversified and plenty. - The place is only 10 minutes away from the beach and you can either walk down the stairs, or go down the road by making a small detour (although the pavement is not so good on the entire row). - The parking was ok (at the white door controlled by remote). - Staff was very friendly. I enjoyed our stay here. It wasn't very crowded, staff wore masks due to Covid situation which is a great! Sadly not all people staying at the hotel respected these condition - The rooms with a sea view offer an amazing picture of sunrise! Worth the stay
Cons: Not so many options at the bar, perhaps more cocktails would have been nice

On arriving at the hotel, the car park was full. We were directed to the front of the hotel, where we were met by a member if staff who found parking for two cars in chained off bays 20 m from the Hotel. Reception is Spacious and cool, plenty of comfy seats. We were booked in very quickly, wrist bands applied, wifi passwords given out, door cards issued and we were off to our two rooms. Family of six ( Nan and Grandad in Double. Mum Dad and two kids in Suite). The rooms were very spacious carpeted and clean. Big Bathroom, Double beds, TV Fridge wardrobes and chairs. Balcony included tables and chairs. We were overlooking the pool area and Sea. The pool at first glance looked small, but it easily accommodated ALL guests. There is a separate pool for children. Plenty of Sunbeds. The water in the Pool is brine which is kinder on the skin and eyes. The Pool water was spotless. Lifeguard on duty every day. Paper cups issued at the bar for coffees and drinks, paper plates for food to avoid dangerous breakages around pool area re barefoot traffic. The cocktail bar is situated at the Poolside, there was a big screen tv inside. The barman 'Denis' was excellent, his cocktails were fantastic, Iced Coffee too. My favourite was 'Old Fashioned' a whisky and coffee cocktail. The Beer on draught was Becks, the spirits and wines were local but Excellent especially red and white wine. Everyone helps themselves to coffee and soft drinks through dispensers. Ice cream fridge situated where people help themselves. In the Cocktail bar was a food counter where 'Elevenses and Three'es' were served between main meals. On Floor minus 2 was the Restaurant, Bar and outdoor patio dining area. The Restaurant was big, airy, cool and clean. Plenty of chairs and tables. Plenty of staff to clear away plates and re-lay tables The food was self service. The food was amazing, breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Every day there was a variety of Meat dishes, fish, rice, vegetables, Soups, salads, breads, fruit and Deserts. The food was top quality. Parking was 20 leva per day, going rate for area. The Staff were all Fantastic, i cannot fault anyone although Denis in the Cocktail bar stands out. I will go back to this hotel

We stayed in a renovated triple room on the first floor with all-inclusive package; the room was very spacious and clean with a very big balcony and a bathroom with a nice bathtub which was modern and practical; the food was varied and delicious, we always found something to enjoy; also great variety of drinks (many cocktails) included in the all-inclusive offer; the staff was very friendly and helpful, the Wi-Fi was good, free ping pong and pool, the underground parking was charged for an extra cost. The only -downside is that the beach is about 7-8 minutes walk. Fully satisfied with everything!

This hotel is definitely not 4 star. They even have documents in the bars and restaurants showing the 3 star certification.
Pool. Most of the time - not clean. Some days when we looked from the 4th floor we couldn’t even see the bottom, how dirty it was. We didn’t risk swimming in it. Food was OK. However, most of the time - just cold. It is an OK variety for a 3 star hotel and very poor for a 4 star hotel. Breakfast is the same all the time, so by the end of holiday we got bored of it.
Staff was polite and friendly. Some people say that they are rude. They do not say sorry and speak rudely. No, they are not. It’s their culture to respond that way. Once you understand it you won’t complain.
Internet. Consider that most of the time you won’t have it. Downloading speed is no more than 4-5kbs. Most of the time it’s around 1kbs, which wont even open a page without waiting for a few minutes. Internet of the 90’s. They advertise that they offer internet but you won’t get it.
Room was big (we paid a lot for it). However, bathroom wasn’t cleaned to a highest standard. They changed sheets quite often, which was a good thing.
AC - once you make it work- don’t touch it. Temperature was impossible to regulate. And fan speed was not possible to increase/decrease as well. We asked at the reception to fix it but no one did anything.
If the price was at least half of what we paid We wouldn’t complain. But they charge you for a 4+ Hotel and you only get 3-, which was very frustrating. Too expensive.
Beach is not very far away, however, fee zone was very small and majority of spots were taken by the paid chairs or some hotels. Very inconvenient.
I probably would never go back.

Dangerous hotel. My 13 year old son got an electric shock in the bathroom which probably came from the boiler that heats the water you find in the bathroom. He was very lucky that the current left him or what would have happened would have been fatal (I can't even think about it). For some time he had pain in his fingers and hand. I immediately reported it to reception at 8:30pm and asked for a doctor and was told it was gone. No one was interested in coming to ask what happened and how the child is. I went again in the morning at 8 and mentioned it again to the reception but again she did not give us any explanation or care. I told them I want to know what happened and get a technician to look at it because my son may have escaped the worst but someone else could. We were there until 12 noon and no one looked at it but no one came to see if we needed anything either. It was the last night we had on an 11 day trip where we had stayed in but 2 hotels and this was the last one for one night. Our stay there had the effect of spoiling the good times we spent the previous 10 days. When we were about to hand over the keys, someone at the reception, the third person we spoke with, asked what exactly happened. We also described to him what happened and he was simply surprised and told us that he did not know why this would happen and that the hotel management had been informed. However, not a single person from the hotel management came to see how the child was doing. Fortunately my child is fine.
