We stay 4 nights in this place. Is clean, they make the rooms every day if you put the sign, many of the employees don t speak english. Lucky for us, housekeeping lady on our floor ( no 4 ) speak little romanian, what was a nice surprise. Great lady, try to accomodate us much as she can. 👍👍👍👍
Food was good, have also a kids menu. Diferent tipe of food every day, can accomodate a lot of people and tastes.
Pools, slides and inside pools are god, water at outside pools is cold and refreshing, insde pools are with 30 degrees water but to much clorine.

Is a good place for familys with kids, have a loot of things for them, pools, sweets, playgrounds etc.

We arrived late at night at 1am, 2 adults and 2 children. First, they could not find our reservation, because only the first name was mentioned, not the last name. Finally, we solve this problem (we, not them) by looking at their booking sheet.
In the room, surprise! the room was prepared for 2 people, not for 4. The sofa was not made. As a result, the receptionist, first bring to us a sheet for one person bed, then one of a double bed, wrinkled, taken from another bed and after the two more roads at the reception we receive 2 pillows, also wrinkled.
The mini-bar is actually a mini-refrigerator, empty and, after its condition, not new.
There are no trash bags in the trash cans from the room and bathroom, and after the first two rolls of hygienic paper have finished, we have just received one more from the cleaning lady, so in the last evening and the next morning we used our own paper tissues.
The “luxury” double room is pretty crowded, the furniture is new and the beds are comfortable. The balcony is small, barely for two people.
The food is below average and the drinks are the same. Pancakes, fries and fresh vegetables have saved us. They serve a lots of frozen dishes (steamed vegetables, schnitzels, fast food, in general).
The staff is undertrained, unfriendly, barely seeing a smile, do not know how to make a capucinno.
We lost something at the table (a braces) that most certainly came to the trash can, and the answer of the women who seemed to lead the staff in the restaurant was "It's not my problem."
The outside pool is nice, with slides for children and for young people (not very high), the aquapark was not ready ( so said the reception man), the indoor pool was still under construction, so we had to “relax” with the noise from the works, the terrace of the bar is small, the parking lot is too small for the number of rooms of the hotel.

Response from marketing737, Marketing department at Prestige Deluxe Hotel Aquapark Club
Responded Jul 6, 2018
Thank you for your rating. We are sorry for the inconvinience you've met on check-in, everything you've experienced in the room affterwards is because of the missing reservation. Usually if we have booking for 2+2 we make the room according to that. It is true that we have experienced some delay with the opening of the indoor pool due to unforeseen technical problems, but we still offerred this service to our guest in our other hotel Prestige Hotel & Aquapark (right next to us). We want to let you know that we paid attention to your words and we have new staff recruitments and improvements in every department which already increased our level of service since the begginning of the season and every part of the hotel facilities is working and even more. We look forward to seeing you again soon! .

Nice and clean hotel. Location is just a 3 min stairway to the beach. Rooms are not small, breakfast is good. I certainly enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly and helpful when I needed to find something. The restaurant closes early so for dinner you might consider somewhere else.

Just one warning - do not ask them to call you a cab if you decide to make a trip to Varna! They will call a very expensive one compared to the regular Varna taxis. Also - check if the tax machine of the driver is on - he might try to charge you at a fixed rate which in my case was tripple.

Cleaning was a big problem, apart from the toilet paper ,the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Sand in the shower cabin, hair and sand on the tiles in the bathroom, the bathtub faucet and the shower cabin were full of limestone, a sign that they were not cleaned after those who were before. We found trash in the room behind the sofa from previews clients. The management doesnt control the cleaning staff, they dont do their work not in the room nor in the public areas. public toilets not recommended for use. I basically cleaned with disinfectant wipes the toilet, the shower cabin, and sink.

The hotel is advertised as a 4-star deluxe establishment across several platforms; however, the reality is far from this description.
The unhygienic and hazardous conditions, are evident from the severe lack of maintenance and cleanliness throughout the property, particularly in the entryways, hallways, and most concerningly, the rooms.

The room we received was in very poor condition, including:
- Floors and corners filled with accumulated dirt and hair
- Tables, couches, and floors covered in food debris and hair
- Toilet and walls visibly dirty with brown stains.

Upon reporting the conditions to reception, they sent cleaning personnel, but during this process, we observed a concerning lack of training. The staff used hotel towels to clean the toilet, walls, and even a dirty couch. It became clear that the hotel is under-resourced, with overworked staff who, while apologetic, admitted they did not have the time to clean thoroughly.

We requested a different room, but the alternative offered was no better.

The conditions in this hotel is deeply concerning and real hazardous. I would not recommend bringing children here.

Given the state of the rooms and hallways, we did not feel confident that the food areas would be any better, so we made the decision to leave the hotel. Less than a kilometer away, we found a more affordable hotel in very good condition and very clean.
We paid around 120 euros through hotels.com for one night which is too much for a 1 star hotel. The hotel did not refund anything.

Please stay away and dont bring children to this so-called hotel!!

Unfriendly staff at reception and at the pool , dirty bathroom, bad cleaning. Not flexible in serving their guests and not willing to make them feel welcomed. Very rigid. Bad impression and vacation mood is destroyed from the 1st day. :(

Bad service, bad employees. A girl comes out of the pool freezing and they don't give her a towel because she doesn't have a ticket. She cries but the employee doesn't care. Unpleasant in the dining room. Unpleasant at the reception. Bad experience and we will never return to this hotel. They must get their employees to smile a little. An unpleasant place.

Really nice hotel. I'd be glad to come back one day. Good service, clean and bright suits, tasty food, well organized territory, compact and cosy, not far from the beach, perfect place for children and teenagers.

Everything about this hotel was great. Food good, price great, plenty for kids to do. Not many English people there but we prefer it that way anyway. Not really one for making friends. Had a full chilled time

Hotel Mak is a very basic hotel, in the pictures it shows a nice pool & poolside bar. Unfortunetly, when i arrived, 17/5/13 there was no water in the pool let alone a bar of any kind inside or out.
The rooms are basic but comfortable, but watch out for hidden costs, they tried to charge me 100Lev (50euro) for dirty sheets... they tried to argue but we are a cheap hotel.. I didnt let them away with it.
The staff have only broken English, which in a tourist resort is not good enough!!

On the plus side, it is only 5 minutes from the beach & some decent restaurants.. try "The Old Oak".

We went in August to this resort, and considering how cold the pools were in summer (to the point that the kids lips were turning blue), I can only assume that the outside pools are not heated. Did not try the interior one though.
