From the perspective of someone who has already been to Golden Sands, I do not recommend it. Unfortunately, there are more minuses than pluses, but let's start with the positive sides
+ really great animators! They try to keep you entertained every day and are always helpful + good drinks, a bit weaker at the pool, but the selection is quite large (made with local alcohol) +swimming pool - we could always find a place (4 people) and there was no problem that there were too many people +really close to the city center
Minuses: - poor food, monotonous, sometimes even raw in some places (meat). Some days it was hard to find anything other than fries. There is a small selection of food, sometimes it is not known whether it is ready, poorly seasoned -there is cleaning, but not completely. Towels are changed, beds are made, but that's usually where it ends. If it's really dirty, then it's actually cleaned -the hotel itself also needs a major refresh and better cleaning. -there are special places on the floors where you can leave dirty dishes, but they are taken out so rarely that a lot of ants gather there -when using ice cream, the water in the spoons was very rarely replaced, sometimes discouraging people from spooning it
The hotel should be better considering the categories and price, but it has potential that is worth developing! :)

Very disapointed ! I do not recommend it. In 8 days of stay, our room was cleaned ONLY once, despite our repeated requests to the reception and the manager. It was when we met a cleaning lady that our room was cleaned. We had to ask him to do it! Amazing ! The day we complained to the manager, he just asked that the trash can be changed and that a clean towel be given: ONE towel for THREE people!!!!! We therefore had to collect towels and toilet paper regularly from reception. Ridiculous ! On the 6th day after our arrival, we returned to the manager to ask that the room be cleaned. He told us: it will be done during working hours. Obviously, it hadn't been done but we had clean towels and toilet paper. The staff is quite rude. We had read on the tui information that we were entitled to a free sauna or hammam every day. The staff refused. The food is fresh but not very varied. You haven't even finished your plate yet when they take it away. There is little entertainment. Brief! We will not return there.

Hotel Odessos offers a delightful culinary experience with a wide variety of food options to cater to all tastes. The extensive selection ensures that every guest can find something they enjoy. Of course not all dishes was good for me, but i never left a meal hungry.
The accommodations at Hotel Odessos are well-matched to their price point, offering a comfortable stay that represents good value for money.

Stay: 27/08-03/09/2023 Reading positive opinions and encouraged by the experience of the lady from the travel agency, I chose this hotel for a holiday with my family and friends. When presenting the offers, my husband and I emphasized that the hotel must have a very high hygiene standard, because we are going on holiday with a one-year-old child. During the purchase, we heard: "You will be pleased with this hotel." We set off on holiday with a very good attitude, but what we found there was far from what we had promised and imagined. Hotel: theoretically underwent a complete renovation in 2018, although judging by its condition, this statement is far from reality. Everywhere is dirty, everything sticks to your hands. This place shows the signs of time, because the building is simply old. Hotel service: they work there completely as punishment, everywhere. You can't find out anything or ask for anything. This is a total failure. The best are the cleaning ladies who perform "daily" room service at their discretion. The worst thing is that they completely ignore the information left by guests. You ask for cleaning - your room will 200% be missed. Please do not disturb you - the ladies will be happy to knock on your door. I'm afraid to enter the elevator, it slams, makes strange sounds, bangs the doors so that the whole device vibrates. And the funniest thing - the load capacity is up to 600 kg, and with two people inside she was already screaming that it was overloaded... The location of the hotel: supposedly 200 m from the beach, where there is not even that much in a straight line, and you have to walk about 500 m, so it is quite a significant difference, even in the case of traveling with a small child. KidsZone: in the photos it's nice, well-kept, safe, and on site... Sockets without protection, the infrastructure of the plane's interior is damaged, protruding screws and pins - it's really easy to cause a tragedy there... Food: monotonous, very monotonous. The only thing we ate there all week was pizza, because it was actually delicious and worthy of the highest rating. However, taste is taste, because everyone has their own, but the stench that permeated the restaurant was impossible not to feel. At the end of the trip, everyone was poisoned by the hotel food, so we returned to Poland with a very wide range of ailments. Generally, if you want to spend your holiday peacefully, in a nice, friendly atmosphere - definitely do not choose this hotel. We have never been so dissatisfied with a trip, and we have already visited several countries. I'm still wondering where these positive reviews of this place come from... It's incredibly dirty, crap - I understand, the hotel may be old, but you have to take care of hygiene, no matter what!

Far from 4 stars. Spacious rooms, fantastic bartender in the lobby bar and delicious food in the restaurant for everyone, but... The location of the hotel is 200 m from the beach - in a straight line, to get to the beach you have to cross a "lovely" promenade with stalls full of Chinese food, the streets are dirty, there is no point in looking for a garbage bin, so it's no wonder, the beaches are for everyone, of course waste bins, paid toilets, showers - I found 2 on almost a kilometer. It's still something to experience, but the service leaves much to be desired - English is terrible, there is no response to any problem at all. However, the worst thing is the dirt and mess (sorry, there is no other way to call it). Cleaning the room involves replacing the garbage bag and sweeping (certainly not washing) the floor with a dirty and smelly mop. I asked no one to clean it, but it didn't help. Honestly, if anyone has any allergies, I don't recommend it. It's better not to open the fridge, the chairs are dirty, the tables are worn from the previous ones. Overall, they are far from Europe and 4 stars.

Low quality hotel in the middle of low quality destination, its Odessos. There is only 2 things which is possitive. Staff and food. Rest of all is far below average. AirCondition is not working, or working very bad, so during the day in the lobby, or dinning room, or your hotel room is 25 degrees and more. Lifts - if you want use lift from the ground to 6th floor, prepare yourself for 15+ minutes of waiting Swimming pool - even the hotel saying its “familly friendly” hotel, you cannot jump, run or have any fun around the water. You can walk, swim and be quit like in the grave. Hotel has no own Beach, so everyday you HAVE TO pay 20€ for rent of one umbrella and 2 beds. There is no possibility to find alternativně, becouse its PROHIBITED to not use it….. Like in feel cominism Everything is hotel is under one motto. PROFIT is the first! So even for 10’ of parking as a guest, you will pay 10€, sometimes you feel that even say “hello” is not free… Cleaning the room and fresh tovels is not common, if you want clean everyday, you have to “fight” for it. This hotel did not meet expectations. The hotel is an all inclusive hotel, but it is too small to avoid chaos at the buffet. The employees are unable to fill up with food, so you have to constantly tell them that something is empty, and you keep waiting. Smiling course they would have benefited. Cleaning inside the hotel is ok, but outside by the pool it is not cleaned, stain from ice spill was lying for several days. What was great was the location. We thought it was much longer to the beach, but there we went in five minutes, that when you walk through the forest it is lush and nice to walk, even though the garbage floated far the roads. And right outside the hotel starts the shopping street, you can walk along this into the city centre, or you can stop a small train outside the hotel, which will take you into the city centre, where it is full of life. Tivoli, small shops, pancakes and lots of fun here. Those to entertain by the pool are very tafate. Prefer to stand and dance with each other a bit away. The elevators live their own lives. Everyone was annoyed at them, they went where they wanted, could take up to 600 kg, but if there were more than three in an elevator it ⁇ 't go, and we were too heavy. The elevators could suddenly stop and open on floors no one was going off or on. They had three pieces, but only two were able. Many walked the stairs in frustration. Then we will come back here, hardly, then it must be cheap.

I was there in September. I really recomended this hotel, it was nice. Firstly, I shocked about food, it was really tasty. We could try something new every day, wide selection of meat, pasta, sides, salads and fresh and hot pizza from oven. Ice cream was delicious, too. Room was clean, but sometimes housekeepers clean then not exactly (one day ran out of toilet paper) after the high season you always have a sunbed free. Pool was nice, but for me a little cold :) Drinks and beverage was ok, a good choosen colourfuly drinks and softs. Minus was lifts, sometimes I must wait a 5/10 minutes. Indoor swimming pool and wellness centre was good, too. If you looking for a really good hotel in Bulgaria, that's it. Price is really encourage and reliable. For not undemanding tourist!

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. There are many hotels in Golden Sands, at least with a better location.
If your room is on the 4th, 5th or 6th floor, you will hate this hotel because of the elevator. I have never seen such a stupid system. It stops every time someone outside calls it. For example, if you entered it on the 1st floor and wanna go to the 5th floor, but someone from the -2nd floor calls it - the elevator will go down to catch that person, and only then will you all go to the 5th floor. But if someone calls it again, you will stop again. And again. And again. Even if the elevator is full. Also, one of the elevators broke down by the middle of the vacation, and all 100+ people rode the remaining one elevator...
The food was pretty monotonous, especially in the morning.
The cleanliness could have been better. Because of the stupid elevator, sometimes we would go down from the 5th floor to the 1st floor and vice versa and noticed that the stairwell was very dirty and not washed once in a whole week.
There is some entertainment such as animation, playground, water slide by the pool but that is only for kids. Adults will be bored the whole time when it is too hot to go to the beach.
Of the good stuff, the bar has some tasty cocktails and hot chocolate.

We have just returned from this hotel with friends, a very nice place, a more intimate hotel than those it is surrounded by, the food is really tasty (delicious homemade pâté), a short walk to the beach, good drinks, although very sweet. I recommend this hotel, although Złote Piaski is actually a party place for young people from Poland and Germany, one big market square, noisy and unpleasant smelling, only one or two better restaurants without loud music and with good local food. However, choose Sunny Beach if you want real rest. But this hotel is really very decent considering the price of staying there. I recommend Wojciech
