Perla Hotel is celebrated for its superb location near Sunny Beach and Flower Street, which guests consistently praise. However, opinions on value are mixed, with some guests feeling that the cost doesn't match the quality, citing additional fees and limited post-checkout amenities. While the hotel boasts modern amenities and a lively, music-filled atmosphere, some visitors suggest that the experience could be marred by noise levels and a shortfall in sunbed availability.
Room comfort receives accolades for cleanliness and modernity, but criticisms arise over air conditioning issues and refreshment offerings. Service quality appears to vary, with some staff members receiving high marks for their dedication, whereas others are perceived as slow or inattentive.

We arrived in the early hours , we got to our room to find no water in the fridge and no kettle/ coffee making facilities. Not the best start when tired and thirsty. Already not the offerings of a 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, modern and clean. Our air con didn't work very well. Shower powerful and hot but did leak all over the floor due to not being sealed properly.
Cleaning ladies came in every day and changed towels, replenished toilet rolls and changed sheets 3 times in the 10 nights we were there.
Food : Cold !! A reasonable choice of the usual all inclusive, meats, salads, rice, cold meats/ cheese, soup etc. It was very tasty but never hot, not even warm the majority of the time. A chap stands there cooking the meat, which he would then put on plastic trays to go cold with nothing to keep it hot, on several occasions it wasn't even cooked properly so had to leave it and go get something else. At breakfast he will fry the eggs but again just leaves them to go cold instead of doing them to order like most places do, also no offers of omelette, which I missed.
There was always pizza to snack on in the afternoon.
I did mention to the Manager about the cold food, he shrugged and just told me the owner knows but does nothing ! If the food was cooked and served properly it would have been very good.
All the drinks were OK, again pretty standard all inclusive offerings. Most of the staff were friendly enough, the girls in the restaurant worked hard ti keep tables clear.
Pool area : Clean enough, freezing cold pool, at no point is the whole area in the sun, by the afternoon less than half the sunbeds were in the sun. There is another hotel right next door which blocks it out. If you want a bed in the sun all day you would need to be up very early. For this reason we did not spend much yime by the pool as I didn't want to sit in the shade.
Location: Perfect for us, literally 5 min walk to the beach and bars/ restaurants and a 10 min walk to flower Street. Close enough to enjoy both without all the noise of the bars and clubs.

We were excited to go to this hotel with it being new, we thought they would try to please everyone. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The first day we arrived at 2 a.m., we weren’t given anything to eat or drink, and then I put my phone in to charge. We had no electricity or air conditioning for the whole night. I asked to move rooms, but they said it was fully booked, so we had to sleep in a room with no electricity and 30 degree heat.
We struggled to get a sun lounger most days. There is a sign saying "no reserving sunbeds" near the restaurant but not at the main doors where everyone comes out to the pool. People were waking up at 6 a.m. to reserve one and then not coming down until 11 a.m. There are roughly 50 lounges for at least 350 plus guests. The pool is quite small, but it is 1.6 meters deep. I was fine because I’m quite tall, but a few people weren’t happy with it.
The food was questionable at times; 90% of the time it was cold and mainly the same stuff every day. If you like fish, you’ll love this place. I thought that being a 4-star place, it would have more variety on offer. So after a few days, we had breakfast at the hotel and lunch and dinner in town.
The location is great; it’s only a few minutes walk to the beach and about 15 minutes walk to the main strip.
The animation team was great; they were always trying to get people to do activities. But the activities were the exact same every day, and the entertainment each night we didn’t see as we went out for food, but it did seem to be the same stuff each week.
Personally, I don’t think it was worth the money we paid for the holiday.

Stayed at Perla Hotel All inclusive for 4 days (June 2023)
This hotel has recently undergone a full refurbishment so practically everything is new however there are still some tweeks to be made to ensure the service is 10/10.
Rooms are nice and clean, however we stayed in a room for 3 adults and the sofa bed was not suitable so we all ended up sharing the double bed.
The fridge in the room isn't stocked with water which is a shame as this is a necessity.
Shower is amazing, water always hot and pressure is powerful.
Pool towels are not provided so you need to ensure you bring your own.
Alcohol is served from 11am-11pm, all local spirits which means cocktails are not strong at all and taste pretty poor...stick to wines and beers!
However Christian, Constantine and Peter will ensure you are satisfied
There is a good selection of food (more vegetarian and vegan options needed) only down side the food was never hot, always close to cold...
The selection of food often runs out so you need to ensure you are one of the 1st in line at breakfast lunch and dinner.
Entertainment team are always trying to entertain the guests however I think they should ensure the games are Age appropriate for the guests, most guests just want to relax
Pool area is compact and music is usually playing throughout the day.
Location of hotel is PERFECT, sunny beach Is a 5 min walk, restaurant and bars are surrounded by the hotel so you have no excuse not to explore.
All in all hotel Perla provided exactly what I needed for 4 days and Gabby the hotel relations manager was amazing and I will miss her!!!
Will I be back? Definitely

+ clean and renovated hotel and rooms
+good location
- little diversified food, POOR quality meat, a small restaurant for such a large hotel, other guests smoking cigarettes during meals was very tiring, my partner had stomach problems after meals, too few sunbeds on the pool
- on the day of departure, they take off the bracelets at 12 p.m. and you can no longer eat food and drinks, even if your departure is later. This behavior should not be allowed in a 4 star hotel!!!
- I do not recommend!

Returned yesterday after spending the last 7 days at this hotel and can honestly say I was so glad to leave this hotel, I do not know how this is a 4* hotel!. The women staff on reception are so rude! The food is the same every single day, the only positive was the fresh pizzas, the bacon is the worst bacon I have ever tried!. The hotel is clean and the cleaners are constantly cleaning but for the rooms the cleaners will come in and make your beds and give fresh towels and that's it, no bed sheets changed throughout our stay and a very strong sewage smell from the bathroom so as soon as you enter your room the smell hits you, the shower drainage was terrible! If you wanted a shower you have to turn the shower off every 2 minutes as the shower water would over flood and soak all the bathroom floor! The staff especially the lady on reception is the most rudest person ever! Due to a late flight at half 10 at night and having to check out before 12pm and having no available late check out rooms and this hotel not having showers available for guest to use once they have checked out, we went to reception and ask if we could have a towel to have a quick wash before our late flight after being in the sun all day and not wanting to travel with old sun cream and sweat on us to be told by the lady she would not get us a towel as we had already checked out! We explained we just wanted to freshen up before our late flight back home to be told she will not be giving us a towel due to us checking out already and no longer being guests!! The drinks menu is terrible for any all inclusive guests! The cocktails are extra sweet so after a couple you don't want anymore else you end up with heartburn! We ended up going to the supermarket and buying our own which defeated being all inclusive, they advertise amerreto and stuff like this on the menu but when you ask for it, you are told no they do not have this due to the hotel only recently opening back up and still waiting on drink stock!. The entertainment staff are very friendly and restaurant staff are so hands on with removing your plates as soon as you are finished and they do work very hard!. If you want to chill by the pool in the day time be prepared to be hit by the volly ball whilst the reps are in the tiny pool with guests volleying the ball back and fourth to each other! I had my drink knocked out my hand from the ball hitting me as I went past!. The one side of the block I was located had brilliant air-con but the opposite side had a number of guest complaining there's wasn't working and it was taking the hotel 3-4 days to get them moved and after guest was talking around the pool they was finding out they had all been put in these broken air-con rooms and not fixing the problem just putting new guests in the rooms until they went on to complain and then waiting 3-4days to be moved so the next lot of new guests could suffer in the red hot rooms with no air-con!. I am normally sad and not wanting to come home from a holiday but I was so glad to be leaving this hotel and the rude reception lady! The rubbish down the side of the hotel from your balcony view is also terrible! This is definitely nowhere near a 4* hotel.

The good
Speedy check in during early hours.
The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, clean. The staff generally were lovely despite the language barrier.
Desserts were delicious! Highly recommend trying :)
Late checkout is available, however it is a pot of luck (if someone is checking into your room that day, you cannot have late checkout/move to another room). Price was 100lv to keep until 6pm. NOTE: No shower facilities if you can’t have late check out.
Thankfully during checkout our wristbands were not cut off, I believe this issue has been resolved and the hotel understand why they shouldn’t do so.
Plenty of loungers available around pool, this may be due to the time of year, as approaching end of season.
Clean towels daily.
5 minute walk into the hub, Sunny Beach.
To improve
Food was cold even if you arrived at the opening time of the restaurant.
Meats were sometimes raw! Beware of this.
You could not take any drinks from the restaurant or bars. This is fine providing you are given bottled water in the fridge (even if it was just once to ensure you could refill). I understand why you can’t take drinks up to the room, it’s a new hotel so they’d like it to be kept nice! But there’s not a lot of logic behind this. I took my own water flask for refilling with water. Most other guests had been to the shop to buy bottled water.
Despite the plenty of loungers, the loungers and pool are shaded by early afternoon, so there are a select few that stay in the sun all day. This is due to the neighbouring hotel.
Tiles around the pool are not secure and wobbly, if you have children go steady!
The pool was icy cold but the weather was not too hot/this doesn’t bother me personally, but may bother others.
Our room was not cleaned once during our stay.
Safe was separate to our room, downstairs in the lobby area. We did not use this due to the inconvenience of it being downstairs.
Air con was very very cold (which is great in the hot days) however it would not turn off. We worked out days later that the remote needed to be an inch away from it to turn off. Air con seemed to be giving myself and partner a chesty cough too.
Shower did leak due to the seal not being correct.

+1
My husband and I have just returned from hotel perla.
Our stay was very much GOOD/BAD.
The good things are the food the drinks are all lovely, the rooms are extremely modern clean and comfortable with excellent showers, majority of the staff were really friendly.
So to the bad things, we heard from some departing guests they had their wrist bands removed and had to pay from 12noon until transfer. I automatically was concerned about this as we were not leaving until 10.30pm for our flight. We have never encountered this in any hotel on our many holidays in many countries. My husband approached the Tui rep about this and he returned to us and said this has been an issue and from now on all Tui guests can keep their wristbands until transfer and this turned out to be the case as were not asked to remove our bands and we enjoyed Lunch and dinner while we waited for our transfer, hopefully future guests will confirm on here if this policy is still in place.
Another bad point we found was the reception in particular a lady with a long ponytail and usually a blue srunchy in. After checkout I realised I had left my £80 jacket in the room, my husband asked said if she could look into this, with a look of despair and a roll of her eyes she went into a room and seconds later returned and said “no jacket and someone else was now in that room” so we double checked our luggage and wasn’t in there so my husband approached another member of reception staff and explained the situation she quickly rang several people and ran up some stairs to return with my jacket. My point here is reception can be extremely helpful or extremely poor said lady never smiled she certainly is not in the right job for her character in our opinion so if you don’t get the answer you need at first try another member of reception.
One more point I would like to bring up, and think the management should look into with urgency is we arrived at 3am to a room with no kettle for tea and coffee and no water in the fridge and obviously the bar and restaurant was closed plus local shops so a glass of tap water until 8am breakfast is what to expect, again I have never encountered this quite the opposite at many places.
So to sun-beds, this is a major issue at this Hotel and we are not even a peak season yet. I urge the management to address this immediately as tempers were flaring around that pool over sunbeds. We did approach the very helpful pool staff twice and he did get us sunbeds so he must be watching saved beds so approach him if you can’t get a bed before giving up and being disappointed. This said its a simple fix for the management and looking at other reviews this has been an issue since day one.
All of this said we did have a fantastic holiday just with a few irritations that can easily be resolved. We would like to point out the hardworking bar staff and waiting staff, nothing is too much trouble and they are a credit to this hotel. We will definitely return to Perla in the future and hope the management have listened to feedback and acted as this would ultimately turn this hotel into near perfection.

Hotel reception is clean and tidy
The bed is the best bed I have slept in pillows are also great! The house cleaners on the other hand for the bedrooms are useless been here a week and haven’t had our bed changed once you strip the bed and they remake the bed with the same sheets. The bathroom has marks on the tiles from the day we got there they “cleaned” our room two times yet all the marks are still there the cleaner was more Interested in sitting in the guest bedrooms on her phone than actually cleaning.
The entertainment are getting paid to do nothing they appear to have no motivation to be there let alone talk to anyone and get people involved all they do is walk around the pool looking at everyone they may get the dart board out now and then if they feel like it.
The food is okay there is a different choice every night and something for everyone the bar staff are nice. The pool is freezing cold but nice when it’s 30 degree heat. Overall it’s not a bad hotel at all there is a few health and safety issues the air con is pointless in the room. However I am coming back to England with a great tan and feeling relaxed.

We arrived at the Perla Hotel with TUI around 9:30 pm and did not receive dinner. I understand that the kitchen is open until 21:00, but in other hotels I have been to, the kitchen always waited for the arrival of new guests. This is the first time I have encountered this.
I agree with other guest reviews that cutting off All Inc. wristbands, at 12:00 pm, when you have an 8:00 pm flight, is very poor hotel behavior. I have not encountered something like this in other hotels 4**** and even below these stars.
There was no bottled water, kettle, tea and coffee in the room. I understand that the hotel is new and smelly, but why can't I bring food and drink from All Inc., to the room when I can buy it all in a store outside the hotel and bring it to the room? Where is the logic here? If something gets spilled or dirty in the room, it doesn't matter if it's a hotel drink or from outside. They hide behind the rules and regulations of the hotel, but the rules and regulations no one has shown.
Poor communication with the hotel reception. The manager was supposed to meet with us about renting a car, but after 30 minutes of waiting we gave up.
As for the food, it was average, as previous guests wrote, it was repetitive and greasy all the time. After a few days we ate out.
The hotel is rather for guests aged 16+. There are not many things for children here. If you have a child, choose another hotel. The animators said that the manager wants to make it a party hotel. By the way, I salute all the animators, because they are the only staff who were helpful and cheerful.
To sum up. If you like to party, listen to loud music by the pool, this is the perfect hotel for you. If you want to relax, read a book or have children, then choose another hotel.

The rooms and hotel in general is clean and modern. Many different nationalities at hotel and animation team do well to get people involved in activities making people feel included.
Air con isn’t great and give myself and partner chesty cough.
Shower enclosure also leaks like a sieve due to no silicone seals on wall strips.
The food choice is very repetitive and some meat is not cooked through so be careful of this. Most is edible though and can always make some sort of a meal.
Bar staff at pool bar tend to be miserable, staff to restaurant bar seem to have better people skills and are more polite.
Drink choice is pretty limited, no Malibu or local version etc just basic spirits. The vodka isn’t bad but the rum is horrendous.
Soft drinks are branded and beer is staropramen which is good.
Majority of pool area only gets sun until around 2pm due to hotel next door causing shade and sun bed wars for the few sun beds that get the sun for majority of the day.
Safe’s are in separate room from hotel lobby rather than been in the hotel room. There is fee for these around £21-22 for a week.
Access to strip and beach is not bad approx 5-10mins to both but may struggle if not fully mobile due to pavement conditions and huge kerbs.
Chosen to go out a few days/ nights just for a change of scenery, there is plenty of local bars and restaurants in the area.
Nessebar is walking distance along the beach and there is a quite a few beach bars on the way so can always stop for drink/toilet if needed.
Boat also available from the end of flower street pier to Nessebar at 10 lev pp.
Also had a day at the beach, 2 x loungers and umbrella 27 lev for the day.
Would return if price was right but not longer than 7 nights in this hotel. Would be good with a bed and breakfast option in my opinion rather than just the all inclusive.
I think you would struggle with children at this hotel as well due to there not been a huge amount of activities for them to do. Would suggest different hotel for families personally. Not the worst experience but nothing to shout about either
