I stayed here 16-21st June 22. They’re were 6 adults in total and to say we won’t be returning to this hotel is an understatement! The rooms are small and dated, bedding isn’t changed. You have to ask for clean towels and extra toilet roll. The food is vile and stone cold, pretty much the same thing everyday they also don’t have just a standard lemonade. The hotel only caters for Germans, Czech Republic and polish. The staff are rude and not helpful at all (apart from 1 lady at reception and 1 guy at the pool bar) although you’ll see 2 cleaners constantly sweeping reception that’s all you’ll see. The toilets (inside and outside) are disgusting and constantly flooded with water from people going in them straight out the pool. The pools are dirty, there’s no entertainment in the evenings apart from a kids club. Bulgaria Is a lovely country but it’s hotels like this that give it a bad reputation! Also June is football tournament season and this hotel caters for that so you’ll be swamped with football teams of kids!

cleaning of the hotel to a very low level. towels were changed only on request, not automatically. no one wipes or sweeps the floors in the room. in June, the hotel hosts players of the junior football tournament. the hotel is more like a camp. it is not possible to use the services of the hotel and the queues in the restaurant are endless. for other guests is stay during the football tournament nightmare.

Great hotel, during our stay full of poles. The rooms would withstand maintenance - painting, the air conditioning was buzzing, but they were enough to sleep. The cleanliness of both the rooms and the pools could be better. mainly the pools were not cleaned, which was visible on them due to their non-stop fullness. The food was good, although repeated several times during the week, but there was a large selection. The hotel has a water park where guests can for free, others for a fee. it is not possible to take food or drink from the hotel, but buy everything there and pay or walk back to the hotel. The sandy beach is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel through the sand dune. Sea shallow, sandy bottom. For 2 days it was full of jellyfish, which fortunately did not burn.

The animation team in Hotel Kotva was excellent. It was a pleasure for mine whole family to take a part in a range of activities: morning stretching, water polo, cocktail game, water exercises, drawing faces - to name just a few. I noticed so passion and engagement in their work. Thank you Monica, thank you My Friendo Nicolai and thank you The Third Drawing Gifted Girl (sorry I don't recall her name). It was a pleasure to be in Hotel Kotva also thanks to your work. Best Regards Daniel - that one who took a part in almost every sports&games activity :)

The room was okayish- however the air condition did not work, so it was quite hot. Animation for kids is good and very friendly. Destination and distance to the sea is also good. The food was not good. Every evening the same offer, no good quality, not even the breakfast where I went for scrambled eggs was acceptable. Sorry, but for a 4* hotel, I expected more, especially in terms of food. I cannot recommend the hotel, unless you eat somewhere else.

We booked this place in a package deal, and were pleasantly surprised. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, a 30 minute walk to Nesebar old town and was overall a pretty good time away from home. There's a water park for the kids, a nice pool area and the animation team were really funny and kind of fun (this coming from a guy who normally would eye-roll at the idea of being "animated"... they genuinely put a smile on my face, and got me playing water polo). The food, while leaving a few things to be desired, was varied enough that I always found something to eat and generally had no complaints (I hate seafood and fish, so can't comment on it). This was all during CVD19 and they had sanitizer everywhere available and gave each person a plastic glove when entering the buffet... Overall a great place if you're not paying a lot. Oh, my only complaint is about the WiFi... for a hotel with something like 22 wifi connections, the only reliable one was in the lobby. No big deal if you're not working I guess.

hotel is clean and beautiful has water slides and its great for kids and adults breakfast is horribly bad because its all the same day by day i was there 2 weeks and food that is meant to be hot is hardly warm and food that is not consumed that day is served next day again im not sure about lunch or dinner i don't have all inclusive staff was very sour except for 1 lifeguard enough about hotel. now if you want good food go out to city centre of sunny beach check out bistro billy 208 lev 7 main dishes starters 8 beers 2 wines 1 kids meal for just over 100 euro or try restaurant memory just out of resort about same prices also great food. advice for everyone avoid taxi drivers use public transport because they lie and if you are from ireland or uk say you are from somewhere else otherwise they will rip you off. well great food cheap prices (do go out), beautiful beaches don't believe about all pick pocket stories it's just like anywhere else you have to be careful i hope information i gave you is of use and 1 more thing don't go there after mid September cause everything is closing down hence end off season

My partner and I stayed there for a week in September. Unfortunately, because we arrived very early in the day our first impressions weren't good - unfriendly staff at the reception and we couldn't go to breakfast upon arrival and had to wait almost two hours before we were given access to all-inclusive! The food was generally quite good, the alcohol less so but the bar staff were friendly. The room was decent, as was the bathroom, and clean. However, the cleaning ladies smoked inside and you could smell smoke in the corridors. Overall I would NOT recommend this hotel to couples as there are too many families there with kids and it's clearly more accommodating to them. It was OK but we would never go back here.

We stayed here for a week with 2 children, we went all inclusive but we have not ate once in the restaurant, the food is very very poor, ive left a picture for you to see the sort of food. nothing for kids, they are only catering for the germans and polish in my eyes, same food every night, we had some fruit and that was about it. All inclusive is only one side of the hotel which is just the main pool, not the side with kids slides and pirate pool that side you have to pay for food and drinks which i think is wrong... Your not allowed to take around either they have men at the doors stopping you... Pizza is 10lev and drinks and slushies 2.50-4 lev, ice creams available all day normally 3 flavours to choose from... Kids entertainment are good, but thats at the main pool and all inclusive side. Where the kids pirate pool is they let people come in off the street to pay to come and use the facilities, which i did not like... All inclusive drinks are basic and my children only liked the lemonade or apple juice, snacks are poor from 11-4pm salami rolls, crossiants and plain sponge. Not much variety at all. Rooms clean, air con worked fine, oh and all inclusive stops at 10.30pm... Which is early compared to other hotels we have been too. Check in is at 2pm so if you arrive like we did at 12 you have to hang around for your room... Mosquitos everywere also...We wont be returning again...

One part of the hotel is all included and in the side with the aqua park you need to pay. We stayed in this hotel for 8 days and the food in the dining room is very poor every day the same food, after 3 days we eat ones a day in restaurant. The stuff was very welcoming and everyone smiling. The hotel's medical staff was impolite and intolerant. The entertainment team was lovely. The room was nice but not clean. The pool is too small for the amount of rooms in the hotel. It’s probably the last time we’ll be visiting this hotel
