The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful and polite. The food was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed every day breakfast outside on the garden terrace. The beach was not crowded and we had our privacy near beach bar. We loved the surroundings, the beautiful gardens very well maintained and the pool area.
Royal Palace Helena Park Hotel is the best hotel in Sunny Beach for me. I was there before some years - in October 2011. The hotel is one of the biggest hotels in Sunny Beach. The staff was kind and the food was perfect.
Lovely hotel, beautiful surroundings, great food and friendly staff! The evening entertainment was also good! It is at the end of the main strip so quiet which was a bonus, easy enough to walk along the beach into town Would stay again!
everything was great about this hotel. It's a bit upperclassy and we didn't really fit in but all the staff were very accommodating. The rooms are quite big and everything is very clean. The food choice and quality was excellent. The private beach is right in front of the hotel with sun loungers and sunshades included. The beach is nice and sandy and the water warm and clean, can only recommend. The only things was as the hotel does not come cheap they charged quite a bit extra for parking our car. No pool games or organised activities or loud music, which suited us well
Derroll was “Amazing”, he was fun, funny, entertaining and the drinks were “Perfect”. He was Extremely interactive and knows how to bring his customers together!! After a long day of travel, we came to the right place to enjoy ourselves and unwind a bit, while making new friends!! We will definitely be back!!
Stayed 20 days. Couple with 1.5 year old daughter. Liked: - location: close by everything but quiet - food and drinks: good variety and quality - beach: always enough sunbeds and relatively clean, but beware of jellyfish - room: clean and comfortable
We arrived on 9th September to glorious weather and a very good welcome. This remained the case for the entire 10 days with the exception of our departure day. Food was lovely. Rooms comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. Bar staff efficient and polite. Personally the pool was too cold but plenty of other people went in there though. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it’s at the end of the strip so very little disturbance.
We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by pleasant people on the desk. The porter took our luggage to our room and proceeded to show us a quicknway to the restaurant pool etc.Every member of staff were polite and helpful. The food and choice is excellent. My husband went in.the pool but decided it was too cold. Only the very hardy went in.There are plenty of sunbeds. The spar was clean and efficient The prices seem quite reasonable but we didnt purchase anything. The staff in the dining room are friendly helpful and smile a lot.The. restaurant is spotless and the snack bar on the other side of the pool also.Fellow visitors come from all over Europe and are friendly.Bar staff are very polite.Entertainment would be brilliant if they turned the volume down. This especially applies to the conference theatre. We had to leave along with many others because of the volume.Shame really, because what we saw of the show was good.Same outside near the pool.Too loud. The maid was excellent and the only thong I would change is that she puts water in the fridge instead of us having to cart it back.Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel …
Folks and leaves choose end of August to descend on Sunny Beach so this report should be taken in this context as it is believed that things may be very different in school holidays. This was our first time in Bulgaria. The resort itself is garish to the extreem with one highrise complex trying to outdo the next. If waterparks and disco is your scene then Sunny Beach is for you. However if you are looking for peace, quiet and sophistication it is not - except fot the Helena Park. We have tried all inclusives from Jamaca to Tunisia through Turkey to Spain and Morocco and, for us, the Helena Park is the best. Despite the picture it is lowrise - almost hacienda like - at the back where amounst pleasant gardens it overlooks the nice sized pool and the whole place is immaculately clean. The pool / garden bedrooms are large, very comfortable and well equiped. This cannot be said of the standard road facing rooms. The decor througout the hotel is fabulous with the owner clearly going to great lengths in personally choosing artwork of great quality.. The service at all levels throughout the hotel is of a very high standard. The restaurant is pleasant enough but eating it neally always outside where uniformed waiters scurry amids white tablecloths under the stars. If you are lucky you will get Victor who has that rare and natural abily to serve with great expertise whist being chalmingly friendly. The food is self service with a good selection of excellent quality.…
Clean and close to the beach (2 minute walk, if that). You also get sun beds on the beach including in the hotel price. Bar and restaurant staff were amazing and really helpful/friendly. Honestly couldn’t fault them in anyway. Some of the pictures on trio advisor show a bridge like construction over a pool. This belongs to Helena sands (the hotel next door). Pool was absolutely freezing and a bit grubby. Did not see it cleaned the entire week we were here & me and my partner did think there was any chlorine in it. Drinks are very strong but can be weaker if you ask. Lovely selection of cocktails. Food was really nice. Meat tends to say the same but tends to be cooked differently so not too repetitive. Amazing salad bar. Shower floods the bathroom due to no seal on shower window but there was a drain under the sink so I assume the hotel are aware. Close enough to the clubs to walk. But far away enough so you don’t have to hear/see them if you’re not coming for that kind of thing. Animation team were a tad bit annoying during the day. Considering the majority of guests around our stay were 45 +, the cheesy gymnastic dances & games were not suitable. They took no for an answer during the day when offering games etc. However one night they were very very pushy to join in on a game in the evening. This kinda spoiled it for me after this as I tried to avoid them. They did not ruin my stay however. Would recommend :)…
