Hotel js basic. Old fashioned rooms but clean. Beds too low. Most staff helpful including manager. Pool is decent. Location handy for everything. We had a great holiday and this was an ok base. Food was fine... You wouldnt starve. We got a really good deal so cant really complain.

Staff rude , shower door fell off . They fixed it and it fell off again . Moved rooms . Staff refused to get a tea bag during meal times . Sheets on bed all ripped, plates cups chippy and cracked . Food let out at room temperature, pork and chicken ,served cold then left . Not just us complaining everyone we have met so far . Have emailed Luv holidays who rated this as four star . It mist definitely not . Staff wearing no uniform own jeans and sweatshirts . Tables in dinning room all stained ,never changed . Will supply photos .

Having blindly booked this hotel and then reading reviews I was dreading arriving. We landed and arrived at our hotel at midday, we were rudely told my the receptionist we couldn’t check in til 14:30.. Well we weren’t told this she pointed to a sign which said it. We were allowed to leave our suitcases so we went out for a drink and some dinner. Went back to check in and the receptionist was so rude it was 14:28 and by this point there was a que of people waiting to check in but she stood playing on her phone and then checked in a Russian family before myself despite being the first in the que. Eventually got to our room which was an absolute mission around the building and as far out of sight as possible ( later found out that most British customers had been placed there) the rooms, well what can I say.. They desperately need updating, the beds were so low down, I felt like I was on the floor, the decor was hideous there was an awful floral wallpaper on the walls and sticky dirty carpets. The balcony, you couldn’t even class as a balcony, no seats well because there was no room. You had to side step along it and it faced into the back of what we can only guess what some sort of strip club as I regularly witnessed women changing and was also facing urine alley, lost track of how many people squatted down to wee whilst there. The bathroom, was ok! The shower pressure was amazing and so big, I loved it only downside no where to store your toiletries so they had to be left on the floor.. Got over the shock of the room and decided it was clean (ish) so we could deal with it, until the next morning and every morning when we woken up at 5:30 by deliveries, bins being emptied etc. The food, well we already knew wouldn’t be the greatest but it was fully catered to Russians, Germans etc. Breakfast was edible, so we made sure we filled up on that! Dinner time, was some horrendously dry chicken in some random sauce, some terrible pork dish, rice, stuffed peppers and chips.. I lived on chips and watermelon for a week. Tea was pretty much the same as dinner, the only positive meal experience was the snack time. The pizza, burgers and hot dogs were great! Pool side, the entertainment was rubbish! They did aqua gym twice a day but again they only recruited other nationalities for this, English guests were overlooked. They would also randomly play Christmas songs throughout the day🤔. However the pool was a good size despite been absolutely freezing cold!! As for sun beds, sometimes it was hit and miss to get a good sun bed as many people would put towels down and never come to the pool until late afternoon. Overall they best part of the holiday was the bar! Drinks were lovely and strong thankfully because I needed it to get me through the week. The cocktails were hit and miss but the vodka and lager was good! Hotel is in an ideal location and is so close to flower street and plenty of restaurants and bars and this would be the only reason I would return to Yavor Palace.

This hotel is absolutely diabolical I have no words for this hotel ! Very very poor avoid if you are British they ignore you! Trust me! To start with the aircon is bust! Then the morning after we arrived we went for breakfast and just walked away - and trust me I’ve stayed in other hotels around Bulgaria and their standards are high compared to here. The beds you may as well sleep on the floor they are that low.

29th July- August 8 We are a group of 5 teenagers from Ireland who travelled to sunny beach for a drinking holiday. From the reviews on here we were expecting a horrible hotel however even though I didn’t book a balcony room I was delighted with what I got. A large open room with two beds, a sofa bed, a flat screen tv, brand new fridge and wet room. Everything had recently been renovated and we had a lovely view over the pool with two huge windows that opened out so smokers could still smoke. We had not expected to eat the hotel food as I know from previous experience that all inclusive hotels in sunny beach cater towards Eastern European cuisine. The breakfast was good, the rest of the meals were bland and unseasoned. We only ate in the hotel once for dinner. We are out every day but that’s what we expected to do as it is so cheap and we enjoy our home comforts of a slice of pizza€1 or a kebab€1,50. Overall it was a great hotel, the rooms were cleaned daily by lovely staff. However if you want to sunbathe by the pool you must have your towel down before 7am most days and definitely before 8! The bar serves very strong drinks but will make them weak if you ask. There is also entertainment for kids and adults. Aqua gym, gym, kids club, pirate hour etc. The hotel is in an excellent location and staff are kind! Despite being so close to the strip there was no noise heard at night.

4 of my friends and I went for our leaving cert holiday to Yavor Palace. I don’t know why people are really complaining about this hotel. The rooms are cleaned daily and they are alright. The beds are comfy and the air conditioning makes everything better. The only bad thing about this hotel is the staff and food. Breakfast is okay it’s always the same thing but it gave me food poisoning. Lunch and dinner are terrible. There is no options for vegetarians if you’re not used to eating rice, pasta, potatoes and vegetables for dinner. The food always tasted the exact same there was no variety at all. Meat was either over cooked or raw and none of my friends wanted to eat it. For the snacks you had to queue at least an hour to get a slice pizza, and trust me the ones for 3 lev are much better outside of the hotel. The staff at the other hand are atrocious, except one reception man called Marin. He was the nicest person there but he only worked night shifts. Thanks Marin! The cleaners were lovely and they made sure your room was clean. We didn’t rent out a safe and nothing ever got stolen. The only two bad incidents were when I was sick and wanted a bowl for noodle soup and the staff in the restaurant were rude and kicked us out because “it was closed” and gave us looks. Then on our last day I came to return the kettle. The kettle is 4 lev and day and you pay 20 lev deposit. I payed 3 installments for 2 days each. When i came to return it I got told that I haven’t payed for the last 2 days and got called a thief and a liar by the reception ladies. I did pay and I told them to check the cameras to see if I have payed because I wasn’t going to be called a liar and a thief for no reason. The staff are disgraceful and they just are either rude or want more of your money. Clearly wages aren’t enough for them and they go robbing their hotel guests. Anyways, If you’re scared of going there don’t be. The animators are amazing and the aqua gym is brilliant. The hotel itself is nice and clean. It was a nice holiday and I don’t regret going to Yavor Palace Hotel. You just have to be careful of the staff and the only good food there was honestly pasta, rice and the vegetables give them a go. It was a good holiday and you get your money worth in the bar! Cocktails are amazing and so is the gin ! Great and polite bartenders aswell. Give it a shot it’s a good hotel it only has a few negative things.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. You are bullied for being british, members of staff cannot understand you, que at least 30 mins every meal time, 10 min ques for drinks, beds well i may aswell sleep outside. There is a sign saying no towels on sunbeds otherwise you'll receive a 50lev fine.. You cannot even sit around the pool, most sun loungers are broken or taken by rude arrogant people who go out for the day and return around 4pm. Not one english family in the hotel. How this is sold as a 4* i really dont no. If your wanting a nice relaxing family holiday this isnt the place for you.

Make it as short as possible : your time is to priceless to waste it in that outaged and ruined to maximum place. The standards which are second to none and staff that seems to be too careless to bother about you will leave you with anger on your face. I am surprised travel agents risk their name to be linked with such a place.

Bad experience for me and my family, food was terrible and quing for 20 minutes every meal time. Beds are like sleeping on concrete, if you like being around the pool then get up very early and place a towel otherwise you will not be able to the entire day. Collect your passport from reception straight away because they like to hold on to it and refuse to give it you back unless you pay huge amounts of money for damage to items and furniture done by others. Find a self-catering holiday accommodation and eat out, maybe the time I visited but not 1 English person here or anyone who understands it, only good thing is location.
