The beautiful and modern hotel complex is located in the southern part of Sunny Beach. It is, right next to the preserved by UNESCO dunes, just 100 metres from the sea and offers its guests a private beach. There, they can enjoy our Beach Bar, sun chairs and parasols. Imperial Resort is a hotel in Sunny Beach that offers lux and comfort at an affordable price. The last renovation of the resort took place in 2017 when all rooms, common areas and facade were transformed according to the latest trends. The hotel offers a great variety of services. Restaurants “Alexandria” and “Casablanca” serve unique and traditional dishes which are part of the all-inclusive concept. The large territory, snack bar “La Piazza”, the animation, the amphitheater stage, the kids club and the playgrounds all build the dream holiday. For those who wish to relax their body and mind, Spa Center “Alexander” offers a wide range of massages and treatments. A heated indoor pool and gym are also available to all guests of the resort. For our business guests we offer 4 conference rooms where meetings, expos and conferences can be held.

HI Hotels Imperial Resort is often commended for its cleanliness and the friendly staff, though some guests have experienced service delays. The hotel boasts a prime location close to attractions and boasts ample amenities, including multiple pools and a snack bar with varied options. However, opinions on the atmosphere and entertainment offerings are mixed, with some describing the environment as vibrant yet noisy and crowded.
While the rooms are generally clean and well-maintained, critiques around room size and maintenance do surface. The value proposition is debated among visitors; some feel the cost is justified, but others disagree, pointing to additional charges and less-than-ideal experiences.

Detailed Reviews
Me and my best friend stayed here for my birthday in September 2019 and we were very wary due to the amount of bad reviews we had seen but we were surprisingly shocked at how wrong they all were. When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely woman on reception who then proceeded to tell me that she had upgraded our room as a birthday present to myself (we arrived on my actual birthday). I was so shocked but in a good way.
We were then given our room keys and a lovely bell boy took our luggage to the room for us. Upon entering the room we were amazed at how beautiful it was. Very modern and a perfect size for us both. The room was cleaned every day and there was nothing to fault at all.
Once we unpacked we went for a little look around the hotel and caught some rays whilst we were at it. We headed back to the room where we were then greeted with a big birthday cake and bottle of sparkling wine. How lovely!!
The entertainment team from the hotel were second to none, absolutely amazing, especially Alex who never failed to have a conversation with us every day which always made our day a little better.
The only reason I am given this hotel 4 star is because the food was not the best. We ate breakfast in the hotel every morning which was lovely but unfortunately the evening meal wasn't great. We ended up eating out at John Smith's Pub which is just next door as there was only one restaurant open in the hotel due to it being near the end of summer season.
The hotel itself is quite a while away from the main Sunny Beach strip but there is a little train that stops right outside the hotel and takes you into the main area for 4 lev per person.
Although we weren't pleased with the food, we will definitely return within season to try the other restaurants.
We can't wait to come back!

We've spent a week in this modern and renovated hotel. Nice clean rooms, perfect for families with children. Our cleaning lady was always smiling and very welcoming.
Due to Covid we were required to wear a mask and gloves in the restaurant. Cleaning and disinfection frequency of all hotel areas was increased. We felt safe and we didn't worry at all. The private beach is 5 minutes walk and is situated right at the beach so you can enjoy the sea. We wanted to stay one night more and the reception staff offered us a special price. We'll definitely come back.

Hotel is very nice and it's outside the crowded area, many 24/7shops around and the holiday train to Nesebyr (15 min). The beach is next to the hotel (100m). But all magic here is done by Toni, Stefan, Savi, Stasi and Veronica - The Animation Team they have found hundreds of activities both for my 3 children and us adults. Leaving the hotel after 10 days was so sad for kids that we had to promise we will be back next year. Really thank you for the stay!
*stayed in family room at 8th floor (pool and sea view) - rooms are great but no A/C outlets in bathrooms
*all stuff is very nice and helpfull
*food is quite good (no spicy food so great for kids)
*great for families
*great location, 15min holiday train to Old City (4 lewa per person,1 lewa for small kids)
*you have to pay for the sun beds at the reception (12lewa for 2 sunbeds with umbrella at the beach)
*we've been here for last 10 days of June so just before the high season
*great bartenders (Danny !)

We’ve just come back from the vacation we spent at Imperial Resort.
When we have arrived here, we were told that we must park our cars in another parking lot, because the hotel‘s was full. We were lucky and we found an empty slot. My brothers-in-law found parking spaces nearby, after they paid 5 euro to the „parking boys“.
We had 4 rooms, 3 Deluxe ones and one standard. The Deluxe ones are large enough, but the double standard room is really small. When one opens the Wardrobe, nobody can pass from a side of the room to the other.
Cleaning was done every day, but only on the floor. In the standard room, there was hairs on the floor and even though my sister left the sign on the door to clean, they didn’t. They supplied the toilet paper and the soap whenever it was needed.
The food was good, but not really diversified. We had rice, potatoes, vegetables, different kinds of meats, soups. One had where to choose from. The burgers and the pizza from the snack bar were good.
The distance from the exit of the hotel till the sea is around 700 meters. There are around 300 m in the court of the hotel and 300 m till you reach the beach. Till the sea, there are 100 m. The biggest problem is with the sunbeds. If you want a set (2 sunbeds and an umbrella) you must wake up at 5 o‘clock and wait in the reception till 6, when they are given away. For each set, there must be someone. One person can not buy 2 sets. (12 leva per day).

Dear MiDD202108, Thank you for being our guests. We are sorry that we could not meet your expectations for your vacation in the hotel. I would like to assure you, that we'll have in mind your comments and we'll work on improving our services. It is nice, that you mention our deluxe rooms and the snack bar. We managed to secure a private beach for our guests and we have clearly stated that it is subject upon availability and it is provided to our guests at a preferential price (BGN 12 as compared to the rest of the beach BGN 15). All the beaches in Bulgaria are State property and are managed by a concessionaire. Unfortunately due to the COVID 19 measures the distance between the parasols was increased almost double, thus resulting in less parasols on our beach. We can not increase the size of our private beach as it is not our property. Maybe if you visit us again, you'll see some positive changes. Kind regards Plamena Dimitrova Guest Relations Manager HI Hotels Imperial Resort

My family and I just returned from our 1 week summer holiday at Club Calimera Imperial Resort, Sunny Beach and I decided to share some of our great experience with the fellow travellers.
In these uncertain times, many of us decided either to cancel their travels at all or to bid on safe cards. We chose the second option and headed again to Imperial. Last year the three of us had an amazing stay and knowing the place and their commitment to the detail, we gave them a call to check the availability. Luckily, a family room was available and we were informed over the phone about the COVID hotel safety policy.
Upon arrival we noticed that the last year busy resort is nothing alike. A lot more space is given on the beach and all public areas, bars and restaurants. Not only at our hotel but everywhere we have been whilst scrolling around. Some people may like the crowds but this is not me and I loved it.
The sanitation measure were in place and I admired the extra efforts put by the management and the staff to keep the place and the guests safe and let them soak the sun and to forget everything else for a while.
The bars, the midday snacks and restaurants had even better variety than last year (perhaps a new Head Chef) with the only difference that you are being served. Nothing bad being treated with a smile by a staff member instead pushed by rude people rushing to plate their meals around the buffet and smashing your toes. The service times were extended and regardless at what time we went for our meal it was always peaceful and quiet. Truly enjoyed it!
The beach was amazing as always with free sunbeds and parasols for the hotel guests and very close by (Imperial resort is on the front line but going to the sea you have to cross over some sand dunes adding a character to the area).
I could continue writing a lot but…. Just pack and go there, Guys.

The only thing not to complain abou is the cleanliness of inside hotel . Outside the slash pool was not turned on yet had left over water in it that was filthy, food choices are repetitive and of poor quality! Some staff are friendly however not all and the manager is rude. Especially on one occasion when reporting money been taken from room. Safety deposit boxes are available for a fee in reception however on this occasion we been nieve believe if money was hidden in suitcase in wardrobe it would be safe, especially considering it is a fobbed hotel room so only people to have access is us and hotel staff. Anyway when discovering money was missing, we reported it to the manager she basically said we should have used the safety deposit box so what did we want them to do. I explained the money wasn't left laid about and you don't expect people to go through you belonging and that we wasn't expecting to get the money back but simply wanted to make them aware. To this she pulled a face shrugged and said well we'll speak to the chamber maid. There was no apology for the incident, no care or interest at all. The attitude of the manager was quite shocking for someone who's job is support to guests needs, maybe she could do with training in face to face customer service! Overall we will not stay here again nor recommend!! Disappointing and cannot wait to leave.

This is a nice hotel, away from the awfulness of the central area in Sunny Beach. The resort was spotless and cleaning staff worked hard to maintain clenliness and hygiene in the hotel. The beach area is just over the street and it was also clean with free sunbeds available to the guests. The entertainment team were great, always smiling and trying to attract more guests to particicpate in their games. Besides the outdoor pool, we also used the jacuzzi at the SPA, it was really relaxing. The food was great and the staff always took care of the wishes of the guests. We definetely recommend this hotel.

See you next year
It was a pleasure to stay at Imperial Resort. That was our first time in Sunny Beach, but not the last. The Resort was an excellent choice for us. We definitely will come back next year. Everything was perfect - the Management took care of the smallest details , reception staff were always so helpful, they told us where to go. The restautant staff were also so kind and polite, quick service and they were always smiling and taking care of the guests. Food is so delicious, different type of dishes every day. Rooms were clean, the towels were changed every day. Beautiful private beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas.

On arrival at this hotel the reception area was chaos, there seemed to be no queuing system hence rude people walked straight to the front and got dealt with before the polite people who had been patienly waiting. We finally got our room keys and given inadequate direction to our rooms, we went up a lift only to find it didn't go to our room numbers after asking several members of staff we eventually found a barman that spoke English and was able to show us the correct way. Then we found we were on the third floor of the complex that wasn't served by a lift, I have osteoarthritis and in 35 degrees heat I couldn't possibly carry luggage up three flights of stairs. Eventually the barman got someone to watch the bar and he kindly carried my suitcase for me. Day 2 we had planned a trip out to Nessebar, I could not open the safe, I needed money to go out, I rang reception to ask for it to bee opened 1 and a half hours and several calls to reception it still wasn't opened, eventually I borrowed money of a family member so we could go out, on return I rand reception again the rude female receptionist then said you want it opening again with such accusation, when I said it didn't get opened this morning she just said right and put the phone down. Then our door would not open so a family member rang reception from their room to ask for help for me to get the same rude receptionist, that night we had to sleep with our room unlocked. Our rooms didn't get cleaned the whole week, we got our bins and towels changed on day 4,bed sheets on day 5,but floors bathroom where not swept moped or hoovered the whole week. We spent some days around the quiet pool which wasn't ways quite as some people brought there own music. In the pool here you had to be careful as the tiles underfoot where constantly coming away my grandchildren started collecting them. People left towels on the sun loungers overnight to reserve them for the next day. We hired beach towels then some security/pool guard told us we couldn't use them by the pool, he also wouldn't let my grandson where his uv t-shirt in the pool, other people wore t-shirt in the pool. The drinks at the hotel are sub standard both alcohol and soft drinks. The coffee from the machines was OK. I'll finish on a couple of good points there was a good variety of food and the animation team worked hard. Pictures show tiles that my grandchildren collected and towels on the sun loungers at 11pm

Only one of the two restaurants is open during lunch, hence the crowds waiting for a table. Two restaurants open for breakfast and dinner. To reserve paid sunbeds on the beach, you must get up before 7am. There are no drinks at the beach bar included in the price of the sunbeds. You have to bring your own drinks from the pool bar. The downside of the drinks bar was that they don't provide bottled bottled water that you could take to your room or to the beach. Drinks only poured into plastic cups by the bar staff.
