We holidayed at the Imperial resort this September. Positives about the hotel are that check in and out was quick and easy. Staff are quick, efficient and helpful. Our room was a sea view with balcony. It was very large and the maid worked on our floor all week and did a very good job. Food is generally good. Cooked well and tasty. The A la carte restaurant that we went in during our stay was nice and the waitress was lovely. The experience was only spoilt by loud and unruly English families, which is not the hotels fault. I was quite surprised to see school aged children there in September, to be honest. The bar staff work hard and the queue for the bars rarely takes more than a few minutes. There are plenty of seats in the beach bar. Location is good. Get the little land train to Nessebar or sunny beach from outside the hotel. Negatives: usual selfish people putting towels on the sun beds at 7am and leaving them there all day. Breakfast was not the best. Fried eggs were cooked in advance and went cold sitting out. As other people have mentioned there are only two domestic toasters which don’t work well. I’ve thrown better toasters away! The wine is not great, but there are plenty of other options at the lobby bar and the beach bar. Entertainment in September is poor, just one night with a singer who came on about 9.30 pm. But there is a pub next door - the John Smith bar where the Freddie Mercury and ABBA tributes, were super. However, the John Smith bar is not included in the all inclusive package.

I was very sceptical to go based on the reviews I read before we went but honestly I was blown away. Remembering that this is a 3.5* hotel and not a 5* hotel, I can’t complain about anything. The food was lovely with lots of choice throughout the whole day, the rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. The pool area was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful. I can imagine in the school holidays it is a bit chaotic but that’s to be expected when there’s so many people going at the same time. It was fairy busy even for mid-late September and if you want to get a good spot by the pool you need to get up early but that didn’t bother us. Honestly we have stayed in 4* & 5* Hotels which aren’t as good as this hotel. I was sad to leave and we can not wait to go back next year!!

First time in Bulgaria, Stayed here for a week with my partner. Positives and Negatives. Negatives first Cleaners - bit hit and miss - left with no toilet roll on a couple of occasions, bed made only once while we were there, other days just clean towels left Staff - not rude, but definitely not overly friendly or overly helpful. Lifeguard in smaller pool - completely inattentive. Someone cut there head open on the pool side and despite everyone round the pool shouting, the lifeguard took at least 5 minutes to actually move and then just went to get an incomplete first aid kit and a receptionist Positives Good location halfway between Nessebar old town and Sunny beach strip, both easily accessible by little train from around the hotel area - both well worth visiting Food- excellent choices every meal time, plentiful and tasty. Also, the snack bar during the day is great. You definitely won't go hungry. Facilities - two outdoor pools, kids pool and indoor pool. Beach nearby, volleyball court, lots of seating and three bars. Entertainment - day activities if you want and some evening shows. Alternative spot associated to hotel is John Smiths pub, located to the side of the hotel which has entertainment every nigh which is good but not part of all inclusive so drinks and food to be paid for. Downside of this place is the staff, actually rude and saw barman argue with at least three customers on one night alone.

Stay was awesome! Hotel looks beautifully as from inside as from outside. The staff is really nice and always willing to help with anything you need. High professionality. Cuisine is just delicious! Everyday there are different themes they are preparing food accordingly. You never eat the same food twice. Rooms are clean and always perfectly clean up everyday. Bars are almost around every corner and available most of the time. To summarize, recommended 10/10. Give it a try and see for yourself.

Amazing experience during our vacation. First of all I would like to appreciate the kindness of all employees and the Manager of hotel especially. Always smiling and communicative, ready to help you. The food here is really unique. Each day is another type of amazing cuizine and it’s really delicious. Bartenders are preparing tasty drinks according to your wish. The rooms are always clean and waiting for you with the new towells. Beds are really comfy. You can use 2 outside pools and one is inside with warm water if you think the water outside is too cold. I fully recommend to buy ultra all inclusive. You can eat and drink all day. The hotel is really beautiful. No negatives at all.

Great place to stay, location is good for family vacations as it's not so much in the business of the center. Food variety is amazing and very delicious. Staff is friendly and the hotel + rooms are maintained very clean! We will most certainly come back again next summer.
