Pillows and bed hard for me . Fridge in the room very noisy. So unplugged. Honestly not needed, no kettle for a drink in the morning. Night club open on the weekend 11-5.30am very noisy earplugs required. Or ask for a room on the pool side. A polish guest brought in prostitutes on a daily basis. Looked he had been on drugs walking around the hotel like a zombie. Food and drink very good. No entertainment when the weather was bad . In between nessybar and sunny beach 2 levi to get to both places . Bus conductor calls out name of the place . No hassle from rep's or from local shops owners .Good English-speaking staff. Don't wipe make up on towels staff get angry. Or leave door open if pop in for stuff. Showers great and the rooms pool very cold. The pool in the spar just a little warmer, than the out door pool. Great snack bars great . Barman next to the snacks very good very friendly remembers what people drink. Beware leave you food on the table it will be gone in seconds seagulls are a pain . Beach 5 minute walk behind the hotel gate or walk round . Nice to walk to sunny bar 45 minutes. Signs near the sun loungers no reserving them. Staff will remove items left. The sign is in different languages .

This hotel is quite frankly the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I do not understand the negative comments left for this hotel. Staff: fantastically helpful and great at their jobs. A special shout out to Jordan in the outside bar - tell him your drink once and it’s set in his memory for your duration. Cleaners, restaurant and chefs are all excellent at what they do. The hotel is extremely clean, rooms sorted daily with really cute towel art. Food: even the pickiest water will find themselves with a full belly daily! The restaurant ALEXANDRIA is very well stocked with food, it is hot and fresh. The fresh fruit and salad assortment is also out of the park. Outside snack area - never known a snack bar be so varied and unlimited. Trust me when I say the hot fresh donuts are out of this world especially when you add some ice cream to the tray! The kids splash park - could hear lots of delighted squealing from the children in it. The park is also safe and used by all ranges. I was staying whilst it wasn’t fully in swing however the entertainment staff work their socks off to include everyone. I travelled alone - I felt incredibly safe at this resort, there are taxis outside the hotel to take you to and from main strip of sunny beach or Nesebar. The only thing I did not enjoy was the meal in the al a carte restaurant- for some reason the food is not great in this restaurant. I am already looking to book again for next year at this hotel a bit later in the season as the weather goes we’re not on my side with a 4/7 rain however, it wasn’t cold and the staff still ensured all outside areas were usable. Tip: should it rain whilst you are there, they unlock the inner restaurant door to save walking outside. You can locate this by the inside toilets by the splash park. Or if in block 2 follow the restaurant sign as you come out the lift / stairs. I liked that the hotel was not in the main strip - there are still shops outside including supermarkets, change beureax and the usual nik name, t-shirts and bags etc. I met up with some other holiday makers during my stay who said that the Johns Smiths bar which is to the left and front of the hotel was good value and really enjoyable. Thanks Imperial - see you next year!

Just spent 14 days at the Imperial Resort Hotel and … LOVED IT! I can’t understand why some people have given it negative reviews .. those people must be very hard to please! Everything was Excellent. When we arrived the staff at reception were extremely polite and helpful and they all could speak understandable English. The bedrooms are a good size with balcony, en suite shower room, television and refrigerator. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and fresh towels left. The main restaurant offered splendid meals with a varied menu and a different food theme every evening … Greek, Italian, Mexican etc. The food was always tender and tasty. The Salad bar was super with a great selection of cold meats and cheeses. Every night there was a choice of 2 soups and we were spoiled for choice with the huge selection of home made desserts. The staff at the bars both at Reception and at the Poolside deserve a special mention. They worked hard to ensure we were served quickly and they were very helpful and pleasant. The animation team worked hard to ensure that all the guests were entertained both during the day and in the evenings. We have no hesitation in recommending the Imperial Resort as a fantastic place to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

This hotel is a wonderful hotel. So bright spacious and modern throughout. Plus free wifi The food was good plenty of it.Not always to irish tastes .microwave was available thankfully as food was not hot enough for me .sunday was the worst day for food in the restaurant on our visit...very little choice...IF your staying 7 nights to get to go to the Asian restaurant/Italian included in your package.. Don't waste your time it's neither Asian or Italian. Something the hotel fall down on...Very disappointing for all guests I spoke too.The staff are all excellent at there jobs Some there English was non excistant...Rooms and hotel are spotless.throughout. The snack bar is one of the best all inclusive snack bars I have ever come across Fresh pizza, chips waffles, pancakes ,ice cream , Salads, burgers all at the pool bar.plus the barman Jurjan was excellent. So kind and friendly. Hotel is a walk along the beach to sunny beach which was a bit of a kip .looked like it has been bombed in such Disrepair with hardly any shops open.,broken paths etc..Nessebar was nice to go to but was also very quiet ...but in great condition for walking. Hotel needs a bar inside the hotel with maybe a piano player .As lobby far too small and not enough seats when weather was poor as it was on my visit..outside bar was open but too cold to sit there.Felt sorry for the barman out there till 12am.May Is cold in Bulgeria..So bring warm clothes..overall we loved this hotel. We.will return again but never in May as far too cold.kids loved the indoor pool. But you are not allowed make any noise at all like. come on people this is a pool...this is due to the spa right nxt door...This needs sorting as this is a complete joke. This is a pool guys people make noise chatting, laughing, swimming, etc.I wouldn't go to the spa due to the smell of bleach from that pool being so strong as to make you feel sick ..so maybe move the spa upstairs. That way everyone is happy...plus no metal tongs should be supplied around toaster area. This is a accident waiting to happen.

Sometimes I wonder if we have stayed on the same planet never mind the same hotel when I read the reviews here! We have just had a very pleasant week here in May. The hotel staff were charming and efficient; the rooms were comfortable and clean; the food extraordinary good value, lots of variety and beautifully presented( please, people, get over the coolness of the food, you are in Bulgaria not Brighton and there is a microwave if you feel desperate enough). Yes, the drinks are not wildly exciting but remember how little you have paid and certainly the visitors alongside us seemed to drink plenty...No, you are not near the hell hole of Sunny Beach - Nessebar is delightful, the sand dunes incredibly clean and litter free, buses cheap and frequent. Of course it must be different in The Season ( think about St Ives in August v Easter) so choose your time carefully but we really enjoyed the experience at this time of year. Brits abroad can be very unreasonable...

Would not recommend, first off at check in they take your passports then tell you to come back later to collect them, when you ask for them back they can't find them. Rooms are okay but the air con units in the rooms are very loud. We went down to the restaurant to try the food and it was awful , everything was cold, soggy or undercooked. Now for the worst part! The raciest spa man. The outdoor pool was freezing so we all went inside to the spa pool where it was a bit warmer for a swim. The man ended up pestering us at every little noise we made and telling us off for splashing too much water but not one word was said to anyone who wasn't English. This continued through out the holiday. Basically just avoid the spa and if you do go in don't speak, don't swim , don't do anything just sit in the water! The hotel isn't in the best location either it's about a 45 minute walk to flower street where all the bars and restaurants are which means you have to get a bus or taxi , buses take ages and the taxi is 20 lev for a 5 minute journey And finally the entertainment in the hotel if you can even call it that , it's a 3 people doing the Macarena around the pool 3 times a day and then the night time entertainment is the same 3 people in a room playing music and talking among themselves Overall not great and would not return

Let me start with the bad. The drink are absolute rubbish. I don’t really drink so wasn’t too bothered with alcohol but I expected better as per the soft drinks. Just go to the store next to the hotel and get whatever drinks you want. The place is somewhat boring depending on when you come but I went for walks so it was ok in that sense. This is a reoccurring theme in most of the comments and the hotel should look into way to resolve this. Have written down that can explain how to use the transport system and possible places out of town you can go to or visit. In the booking, it felt like the sauna was part of the booking but it wasn’t. This might not be down to the hotel. Iron tongs by the toaster isn’t something I am comfy with. Could also do a bit better with the wifi reach. Now for the good. Have to applaud and commend Chris at reception who managed to organise the only activity I was able to take part in and ensure that where he could, I didn’t lack anything. He was easy to approach and if felt like nothing was too big for him to do Shout out to Alex and the lady manager who swapped my room at the desk as well, her name eludes me, who took their time and at least listened to my concerns and expressed genuine regret over the bits they couldn’t sort. I wouldn’t say don’t go but I will strongly say do very in-depth research before going. The food is good and I will will def go back if they have the same people on the desk.

Just finished a surprisingly good holiday in Sunny Bulgaria 🇧🇬. The weather was generally very pleasant if a tad chilly in the breeze particularly in the early morning and late evening. We stayed 7 nights at the Imperial Resort which was perfectly located for our needs. 30 minute walk to beautiful Nesebar which is a must 45 minute walk to Sunny Beach where the beach was stunning but the resort being the first week in May was very quiet. A Bus stop outside the hotel will take you to St Vlas in 20 minutes which is very picturesque and a 50 minute bus to Bourgas was probably the highlight of the holiday with it’s interesting architecture sandy beach and stunning parks it really was worth the very cheap bus fare. The hotel rooms were modern and comfortable with good beds and showers and the food which was at times lukewarm to say the least was very tasty and catered for every pallet. One negative I have to be honest was the entertainment particularly in the evening. Very amateur sadly a quiz a game of bingo a request disco hmmmm I hoped for better however the Bulgarian dancing was very watchable. The staff were fairly attentive the hotel was immaculately clean and overall for what we paid I would definitely return to Bulgaria but probably in high season.

Had a three night stay at this hotel over the May Bank Holiday. Hotel was extremely busy despite the season not yet starting. Credit to the hotel, they were able to keep the food coming out as quick as it was being taken away. Food was very tasty and warm and a decent standard for all inclusive. Deserts were very good. Plenty of choice each meal time. Only criticism is that there aren't enough coffee machines at breakfast for a full dining room and that they aren't in use at all at lunch or dinner. Staff worked very hard at keeping the dining room clean and space for everyone. It's such a shame to see so many guests over indulge and waste food. Krissimar kept us well hydrated in the lobby bar and was very friendly. As was the man at the pool bar. Our room on the 7th floor had a great view of the pool and sea and was very clean and cleaned each day. Animation team were very friendly and engaging. Reception staff also very friendly. Will come back, especially as the food was of such a good standard for an all inclusive
