Stayed here for a week the end of August. Having read the previous reviews I was a bit apprehensive . Luckily I can safely say we had none of the problems other people had had.
We stayed in the smaller block in two three bedroom apartments. Consisting of two beds and a sofa bed in each . The rooms are dated but clean and tidy with a large balcony. They have a small kitchenette with microwave and fridge both off which we’re spotless and worked perfectly.Along with this there is plates , cups ,glasses cutlery etc. . The bathroom was a good size with a decent sized shower .The air conditioning in the room worked fine nice to come into from the heat outside . The maids came every day to clean , change the beds bring more toilet rolls ,clean towels etc If you do not want the maids on any day just hang the sign on the door and they won’t bother you .
The restaurant is clean and tidy with staff constantly working to keep it this way . The food was always delicious and warm . Can honestly say we never had a cold meal whilst we were there.
There is a bar in the restaurant and one by the pool . The one inside closes at 10pm and the pool one at 1030pm.There is a choice of cocktails beer spirits and soft drinks.
Outside there is a lovely children’s pool which is covered by sunshades . The larger pool is lovely too with three slides at the far end . Our 14 year old son had a great time on the slides .
There is a full day of fun organised for the older children to join in if they want .. Our son especially enjoyed the water polo and volleyball.
There is a table tennis table , basketball court , football nets ,volleyball court and also a smaller pool around the back of the building.
The only down side to the hotel is the tiles around the pool are slippery when wet so careful footing is needed , but there is fake grass placed at the entrance to the pools which helps . Also the disabled access to the lifts in the smaller block is too steep my mum had to get out of her wheelchair to climb the three steps .
We had a fab week at this hotel it’s not 5 star luxury but it is a lovely hotel with hard working staff .
Places to visit Nessebar old town is well worth a visit also Nessebar water park is fabulous it has lots of rides a wave pool and large swimming pool .

I chose this hotel (from the offer of a travel company) because of its location close to the bus station. The location is indeed very good. It is 5-10 minutes walk to the station, some 15 minutes walk to the main shopping street, it is surrounded by varius shops and restaurants (including several supermarkets).
The hotel specializes in families with children and in other classical beach guests coming in groups. It is not so well suited for single travellers.
The hotel comprises of two buildings - the tall one which seems to have suits and the small one (5 floors) which has single and double rooms. I guess the tall building may be a nice place to stay at. The small building faces a very noisy 24-hour bar, where every evening noisy live music is played till 11 PM (after 11 PM, it is still noisy but it is not live music). It is moreover, the same music (in English) every day.
If you have good hearing, avoid single rooms on the first and second floors (second and third floors in the Bulgarian system). Those facing the street get the worse noise from the bar. Those facing the pool get this noise as well + you can hear everyone going up or down the stairs which are located behind the wall.
I travel a lot and I am normally an easy traveller, happy

Where to start....

Clean hotel, rooms very dated no flatscreen tv as advertised but an old 80s box tv, WiFi is a joke doesn't work at all.
The maids are seen in the lifts of a morning meaning if you need to use one of the 2 lifts it's impossible. Didn't receive any clean towel changes or bedding in the whole week we stayed. Had to take our own towels off a maid's trolley.
The food is not good its cold and the choice is dire, feeding two children meant they only ate chips as food very much catered for different pallettes some looking more like slop from Oliver twist than recognisable as food.
All Inclusive is restricted to times there is only a tiny selection of bread and cake through the day and it's outside round the pool on a trolley and it's first come gets the food. Ice lollies only available between 3pm and 5pm. Entertainment for kids is a joke it's pathetic seen one night of a staff member dressed as a pirate trying to charge extra to paint kids faces.
If need to use the toilet whilst at the pool it's only 1 so always a queue and same again at the restaurant.
Water slides again restricted to times only available 10.30-4.30 and of return to pool after a day at beach or an excurion they're not available, also the pool also closes at 6pm despite plenty of daylight and sunshine.
Wouldn't stay there again and wouldn't recommend

Well, where do i start! Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by a miserable looking receptionist, not a smile in sight and barely a word spoken. I handed over our passports and was handed keys whilst a man slapped on my wristband, i asked, with a smile, how can i get to our room, to which he waved his hand towards the lift. Charming!

The room was on the 11th floor and small, with 2 small single beds, it seemed clean upon arrival, but by the end of the two weeks, was thick with dust! there was an old style portable tv, which you couldnt use if you wanted to as the aerial was unplugged and covered in tape, and a small fridge. The TV and fridge, were plugged into the only sockets in the room, so if you do risk going here, make sure to take an extension lead. the only saving grace the room had was the view, and the fact that the aircon worked well.

The bathroom floor is lethal! My husband slipped and cracked open his head whilst stepping out of the tiny flimsy shower cubical which is raised about 12 inches off the floor, onto the shower mat, which slipped out from under him. Health and safety regulations seem non existant here.

The pool area is extremely slippery when wet! Wet shoes are highly recommended!
The pool on arrival seemed clean, as it should be, but by the 2nd week it was looking like soup! There was a green tidemark around the edge of the pool, the water was so murky you couldnt see the bottom. The amount of bugs in there was rediculous! They would start to "clean" the pool each morning at about 8.30 - 9am when it shouldve been open at 9am, which it never was.

The food was always lukewarm at best. One morning for breakfast im sure they forgot to warm the beans, as they were stone cold. By the 2nd week we ate out most of the time.

This hotel has absolutely no evening entertainment whatsoever, the bars close early for an all inclusive hotel, by 10pm some nights 10.30 others. The staff all look miserable and look at you with contempt.

We travelled with friends that had children, a kids club was advertised, but was never open, as it seemed to be used as a store room. The kids entertainment consisted of 10 to 15 minutes singing and dancing in the early evening.

If you leave makeup on towels, or in fact any kind of mark they will bill you for it. In fact there is a whole list of things that they will bill you for, from the towels to the remote control for the tv, which was unusable anyway! Check out the list in your information pack in your room.
They were even going to charge my husband for the blood on his pillow, after his fall in the shower!! Needless to say, we disputed it!!

Basically, this hotel leaves a lot to be desired, think twice before booking.

Me and my arrived on 16 September 2022, we paid just under £700 for 7 nights all inclusive. The hotel is situated 5 minutes from the beach and centrally in Sunny Beach. The room that we were allocated was spacious with a kitchenette, sofa and coffee table. It was clean and comfy with the towels change every day and the bedding every other day. The food was really nice with a good selection of Bulgarian dishes. We enjoyed trying these since this was our first time in Bulgaria (when in Rome......) However, there was also plenty of other dishes to suit most tastes, chips, piza, hot dogs sausages etc.
The staff were friendly and helpful however, most only spoke very limited English.
There was no entertainment at the hotel since the resort season was coming towards its end. However, this was made up for by the hotels large main pool with 3 water slides and there was always a lifeguard on duty . There was also a children.s pool with a slide and a further small pool in a secluded area.
This hotel is well worth a visit for the price and we will certainly be going back.

What an experience, 1st holiday in 11 years, been Bulgaria 3 times prior to this visit, pool gets cleaned 30 min before its opened ,which is never by 9am, should be done on a evening as it looks like soup because chemicals have not had time to work.

Room was filthy, under bed had mouldy food and years I mean years of clogged up dust, television didn't work, one plug socket in room .not ideal if you have a sleep app machine ,and staff refuse to find you an extension lead. Shower slippery ,flimsy, small, and blocked

Staff look like they are being forced to work there, so grumpy and blatantly don't like the British, bars never open on time but always shut on time or even earlier,

Food warm at best, could not even stomach trying anything 2nd week, ate out instead,

Room was the small side but was clean. The beds are particularly firm but that is how I like them and the TVs are dated but towels were changed every day, sheets changed at least twice during the week and the room had a few chairs and decent size balcony and the shower was great.

The pool area was good, clean and decent size with the added bonus of slides and plenty of life guards around who were present to talk to. There was also a smaller pool around the bag of the hotel that was extremely quiet and we had to ourselves most days.

We only stayed b&b and the breakfast was good, talking to other guests the reviews of the food were mixed and it is definitely worth remembering that this isn’t the uk and therefore don’t expect uk food.

We had no issues with the staff, they were all pleasant and spoke or smiled when when we created them. And they never stopped working.

All in all a very enjoyable holiday, especially considering the price we paid. Would definitely return

The two of us were in the studio on vacation. All photos correspond to reality. Overall, we were satisfied with everything - always clean rooms (towels and sheets changed almost every day), spacious room with coffee maker, stove and refrigerator, tasty and varied food, pleasant pool with slides (slides always accessible from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, the sea approx. 5 minutes' walk (sunbeds on the beach for two with an umbrella for the whole day for approx. 350 CZK). Yes, the hotel is older but well maintained.
The only minus was the organization of catering - the hotel has really few places to eat for its capacity, on some days there was a fight for places even before the restaurant opened, and if you went for lunch or dinner a little later, you waited in line for a few minutes and then got a seat for sitting.
As the hotel is in the tourist center, expect traffic from the street, there is a disco on the opposite side, however, the windows dampen the noise quite well and there was never a problem with sleeping.
Also expect salt water in the rooms, so drinking water is only available at the bars and, if necessary, can be purchased from nearby shops.
Overall, we were satisfied and recommend the hotel.

I wasn't expecting the Ritz but even for a 3* hotel this falls way short.

Unfortunately there is very little that is positive about this hotel but here goes. The location is fantastic, not far from the beach and away from the noisy area of sunny Beach but within walking distance.
The hotel is a throw back to the late 80's early 90's in its décor and looks like it hasn't been updated in the last 15 years, part of our ceiling was falling down.
The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable, the AC worked in the room.
No facility to make a hot drink in room as advertised.
The staff are so miserable I don't think anyone smiled and everything seemed too much hard work for them.

The food (if you can call it food) was a disgrace, Bread that was left uncovered all day from breakfast and left until lunch and then dinner, no traditional Bulgarian food but lots of mass made reheated 'slop' we looked at the food daily but ended up only actually eating once and not returning. the pork was not cooked and the other meats made one of the family ill.
I was hoping to try the national dishes but every day was the same - cold and undercooked stodge.
Any food left near the poolside is picked up by the biggest seagulls I have ever seen!
The pool bar is not actually all inclusive, the "snack bar" consisted of a few cakes brought out at 3pm and 3 small trays of pizza that were served one tray at a time hourly over 3 hours and left in the sun until the stopwatch beeped (yes really). the ice cream freezer is padlocked closed at given one at a time (no grabbing one for your partner).

The pool looked great but was dirty, full of sand and hair, it seemed stagnant like the filters had been turned off.

We enjoyed the resort and ate out every night, the weather was fantastic just avoid this hotel at all costs.

Unfortunately this place has got to go down as the absolute worst place we have ever stayed in and not being one to do much reviewing I feel like this needs to be put out there for others not to waste there hard earned money. The hotel is in a great area but that's about as good as it gets as it's incredibly dated and tired you can simply see there is no pride in this place whatsoever. The staff all looked extremely miserable and to be fair so would I if I had to come to this gloomy and tired place every day and at least there is a end date for us on holiday for us to go home this must be like a sentence to them!!! The food is embarrassing to say the least,it's on the wrong side of warm and not much choice infact my partner works in a school doing the catering and she says there's more choice in a school than here and good god the food is so Bland and you also queue up like in a school canteen, after day two even though we didn't allocate food into our budget we really had to eat out to keep sane and also the snacks on offer was a tray of cheep biscuits some dried out pieces of pizza and some little cake thing in syrup. The pool area is also tired with a few pieces of astro turf here and there to stop you slipping but there is cracked tiles here and there so you can stop slipping in one place but can cut your feet open in others, now one thing is for sure we are not snobby and myself I'm not fussy at all when it comes to food and I love trying the Local food but unfortunately for the first time being away on holiday even I couldn't bare the food the staff and the surroundings and normally on holiday we would wake kids up to get to breakfast and crack on with the day not here we let them sleep in for as long as they want,Honestly avoid this place as its incredibly bad !!!!!!!!

Hi, if I was you I would either email or telephone the Iskar as guests were in the reception area waiting for pick up at all time of night. We had to wait in reception until easy jets mini bus to pick bus up. Our flight was 1pm so we didn't have this problem.
