We was not aware of the extent of the horrific reviews online about this 5* hotel! After the visit at imperal palace we reacherched and googled this hotel and was discussed of what we found! Hundreds of bad reviews, and tons of pictures just like our own! Pee stain and bold stain on madras’s and floor’s, dirty room’s, smelly rooms, and unclean bathroom’s. We are shocked and disappointed that this hotel is verified by a Norwegian company. We expect when we order a hotel from a Norwegian company that we are suppose to feel safe! This hotel is not safe for peoples health! Be aware of this hotel! We was robbed of our time, and mental health our summer, our money!!

Never judge a book by the cover. Please avoid at all costs, do not waste your money. The hotel looks amazing from the outside. Rooms are in need of an facelift as are very tiered and the cleaning definitely needs improving. Our main issue was service and no cups or glasses. We arrived and wanted a coffee but they only supply very thin plastic glasses which we thought was quite dangerous and doesn’t make for an enjoyable drink. We went for dinner and found some cups in the dining room, the coffee machine had been turned off and when my husband picked up two cups the manager tried to forcefully remove from his hands which caused us much distress, we were then followed around the hotel by security. We are in our 60s so we were very upset and I wanted to go home. We have never felt so humiliated in our life. At night in the bar again no glasses, only plastic glasses which I did not enjoy our G&T out of. To say the hotel is 5* is a joke. No beach towels provided they had run out but only about 6 were being used around the pool. It’s also the only hotel which charges for the beach sun beds, on the plus side the beach is lovely. We tried to complain to the manager who just said sorry and if we want a proper glass we just need to ask ( which we did and got told we couldn’t have one !!! ) She was most unhelpful. She walked round the pool most days and when I said one day about the evening food she she said Yes Cold !!! Well do something about it, it’s not rocket science to provide decent food. The food is very poor and the evening food was quite inedible and cold, so we had to eat out most days. If the weather hadn’t been so good we would definitely have got a flight home or booked into another hotel.

This is not a 5 star hotel far from it. Although the Location is perfect, there are too many downsides to this hotel. Food.. Breakfast was the best meal of the day, but we had to use the microwave everyday, only went into lunch once and dinner twice and On these occasions the food was bland and cold. Rooms .. these were big enough but the beds a bit uncomfortable and very low. We did not get housekeeping for the first 2 days and then had to ask reception for our rooms to be done everyday, once we asked they were done everyday, although not very well, they have to improve their cleaning skills and bed making. For an all inclusive hotel, the opening and closing times of the different bars seemed ridiculous, e.g. pool bar closed at 6pm, leaving the so called “ Irish bar” the only bar to get a drink and the maximum amount of people this could accommodate would be approx 50 with sesting for only about 20. If you wanted to drink outside, you had the long walk from by the pool to the Irish bar over 2 bridges, not ideal for people with walking difficulties. We also found most of the staff to be rude and unhelpful On our 2nd week the hotel became full with a load of football teams who had arrived for a tournament and the hotel just couldn’t cope. Perfect location but although we would return to Sunny beach would not go back to this hotel They really need to improve their hospitality skills

Positives: great location, wow factor, beautiful interior design, nicely matching walls and furniture, interesting monuments inside and out, gorgeous chandelier, and that breath takinng hallway with massive stairs, nice pictures on walls.., people literally stop outside the hotel to take a photo of the of this hotel. Snacks at the pool bar were really nice, good spread, tasty pizza, burgers, salads, chips, amazing cheese balls, and onion rings. All drink bars are really nice, there is also a swim up bar available during the day. Our rooms have been clean but our had weird smell, and bath from some horror film, it was covered in mould and also had some strange bumps at the bottom Im guessingit was some kind of glue?, simple fix - replace that bath please! But our travel companions that have been next to us had a lovely room, it smelled lovely and bath was all great (thankfully had somewhwr to have a shower) - no issues with their room at all, so not all rooms have issues. Food: scrambled egg for breakfast for amazing!, but I must agree with many comments here, food in restaurant tast all same, which sadly is not much taste to it at all, and also Im vegetarian and there is no meal option of food for vegetarians, there are salds, rice, chips etc but no actual made vegie meal, and not sure how but food it is always cold... but on a good note there is a microwave there which we used to warm the food up ;-), and also as hotel is close to restaurants and it's really cheap there we went out for a dinner couple days, for example chinese with drinks cost us £11 per person in town. And also pool area is lovely, but in some areas at the side and bottom of the pool mould can be seen. And now summarising hotel has its wow factors perfect location and areas to work on. Areas to be considered for improvements in my opinion are 1. Maintaines of the rooms and pool (replace old baths), 2. Food in the restaurant - add some flavour and variation to food that is served, add vegetarian meals, and keep the food warm. I must also mention the "security" big boy, he talks very little but keeps an eye and looks after everyone, making sure you are safe and have fun same time! Big shout out to him! And lastly I'd definitely go back to the location and this hotel. Had a fantastic time!

Hotel looks nice from the outside, Dont be fooled, bedrooms are small and dirty, mattresses blood stained, bathrooms STINK of sewerage, Photos of rooms must be old. staff never speak or smile, You have to pay to use sun loungers on the beach So called PADDYS BAR does not exist, the only late bar (closes at 10.45) is small and busy If you are BRITISH the foreign guests dont like you, pushing in whilst queuing in the dining room, at the bars etc, I had a couple of rows with some Bulgarians because of this, all i got was ME BULGARIAN THIS BULGARIA The outdoor pools are Filthy, slimy walls and floors and debris floating NO WAY IS THIS A 5 STAR HOTEL On 2 occasions some ENGLISH lads were beaten up and Mugged in the week we were there. BE WARNED, these people do not like the British The evening entertainment consists a woman playing the piano (badly), one night a foreign guy singing in the dining room yet again badly. another night some young girls dancing with feathers whilst we we eating in the dining room, On a good note, we found the food to be okay and plenty of choice, sometimes cold because of how busy the Single dining room was plenty of queuing and waiting for a table towels and bedding were changed daily, but rooms not cleaned, headboard full of dust So to sum it up, awful hotel and guests, WE WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN, WE WERE GLAD TO COME HOME !!!! BE WARNED, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR HOLIDAY BY COMING HERE

Avoid avoid avoid. Rooms are disgusting. Wouldn’t leave my dog in here. The pictures speak for themselves I reckon. Asked to change rooms and the staff weren’t bothered. Got here Friday and today is Monday no clean towels or bedding AT ALL. 5*? Where? The pools are dirty. The staff rude! The food - OMG looks like I’m eating beef and veg everyday - no changes to the menu - bland tasteless food. I’ve been in sewers better than the communal toilets! They are about as 5* as Gleeson are a quality home builder! Both want shutting down! Seriously save your money it’s not worth a penny!!!!

We have just got back from a 2wk holiday at this hotel.the hotel is stunning from the outside but when you go inside it is totally different.the rooms are ok but to get in the shower you really need to be 6ft tall to climb over the really high side of the bath(very dangerous if floor slippy),there was a smell of damp throughout the hotel.for the size of the hotel there is only 1 toilet and that is down 2 flights of stairs.food was the same nearly every day pork or chicken and always cold.the restaurant staff were extremely rude and miserable.pool was never cleaned once in the 2wks we were there-full of sand, dirt flies and bird droppings.if you go to the beach you have to pay for the lounger and the umberellas so not free like it says.AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!

This was a fantastic holiday . I couldn't fault it on any level. The rooms were very nice and the hotel and swimming pools were wonderful. The food was different every day and very tasty. The staff were very attentive and most of them spoke English. Management seemed to be checking everything constantly so everything went very smoothly. I would definitely go back.
