Be aware of the description for the svezhest hotel in sunny Beach, the rooms are tiny and the balconys have enormous gaps in them no good for small children. The playground as described in the brochure is a small climbing frame and nothing else, but the resort more than makes up for the hotel. If you have children and can put up with bieng squashed in the room and blocking the balcony off you will have a brilliant time.

The hotel was bought as part of the last-minute package,
so I didn't have very big expectations. On the brighter side
is a very central location --close to the bus line and the central bus station. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and a supermarket next door. The room was cleaned daily. The room aircon worked well, the fridge looked very strange back from old days, but worked, too.
The hotel is exactly on the busy crossroads and it feels like the traffic crosses your room and never stops! They say, that it can be better if you are on the top floors, but the people at reception won't listen to your requests! I stayed a week and needed rest before a busy year.I told them I was prepared to wait a couple of days to change the room or to pay extra, but they said 'no'. I wonder if it was a personal initiative of a very unhappy girl at the reception whose name is Svetlana (her badge said so).Strange as it may seem, the name translates into English as 'full of light'. When I asked her for the manager she told me he was not there and she was not allowed to tell me his name! Ridiculous...

Breakfasts were mostly OK, Bulgarian feta cheese and jam were great.
There were notices in several languages forbidding to enter the restaurant with bags, taking out food or plates and threatening with fine of 50 euros if the food is found in your room! Another prohibition was about bringing glass bottles or glass containers with food to your room. It was exhibited near the lift and said you would be fined 50 euros and 'your bottles will be taken from you'. What if their guests are not a bunch of alcoholics smuggling bottles across 'the hotel border' and hoarding them under the bed?
I think this is not very funny. The number of hotel stars refers mostly to the amenities and technical side, but customer service can help or ruin the hotel.

After reading reviews was dreading our holiday the room was clean that was a bonus after what we had read we got clean towels everyday but had to ask cleaner bedding was not changed the whole week beds not very comfortable lumpy bumpy balcony definitely not safe for young children. Went for breakfast first day didn't go back no hygiene whatsoever food lying out in the heat flies buzzing all over it plates chipped and cracked you could write your name on the stoar that was lying on the shelves of the units within the eating area net curtains could have jumped into washing machine themselves filthy we didn't. Eat just left it was cheap enough to eat out so that's what we done cleaner was friendly the other staff were rude at the end of the day it was a 2star and the room was clean and location was good near Beach bustops and restaurants

me and my four friends stayed there for 1 week after booking off an internet website it looked ok we were not after a 5 star hotel as we were on a lads holiday and thought that we would be out all the time anyway,as soon as we arrived there at 2 in the morning we found the staff to be very rude and also have no manners what so ever, then was confronted by our rooms where we found stained pillows horrid decor and filthy conditions, it had one iron betwwen 120 rooms then u had to pay to use it, the lift is tiny also the place is full of flies then we found the food to be revolting and the the food hygiene was non existent, i ate breakfast the first morning out of hunger and i was ill all week after that. 3 of the group were out one night and we got charged at a bar 900 lev (450 pounds for 1 vodka and coke each and when we told them we dont have that sort of money they started to throw us around and threatning to slit our throat, theese guys were massive and there were 12 of them they kept 2 hostage and frogmarched one of us back to the hotel to then take 1300 lev out of our safe in front of the hotel staff, we heard of many more story like this off other guests but they seem to target mainly lads. all the hotel staff were very rude all the time and there is a real dodgy feel to the hotel you did not feel safe in your bed because you knew if the hotel let that happen in front of them what next, there is no police system out there the streets are run by criminals including the hotels, and most of them hung about in the hotel bar and worked for the hotel, worst week of our life's!!! ive wrote this review as i dont want any more brits going thru what i have bin thru the place is a joke stay away

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 weeks, i can honestly say it is not as bad as the other reviews say it is, room was basic but its all you need when you sleep and get ready there, air con works fine fridge worked fine even tv, also cleaners was in room everyday bleaching toilet cleaning floor changing the bed and towels too, staff was friendly drinks was really cheap, only problem would be the trees around the pool if they was cut back or down a lot more sun could be enjoyed, its based in a good location to walk to the main street centre. Overall a good enjoyable holiday,

we paid £700 for 2 adults for bed and breakfast the hotel description on the website and brocure stated this hotel had been refurbished in 2011 thats why we booked as the photos looked good.... What a disappointment ... We arrived in the early hours of the morning and allocated a room on the 6th floor the reception area was nice so we couldnt wait to get into our room as we are both disabled and were tired ...What they allocted us was disgusting The room was filthy and very small we went back to reception to complain to be told the manager was asleep and nothing could be done..but they promiced us this would get sorted in the morning,,,, we sat up all night as the beds were dirty and bedding was disgusting .... We went down to reception to see manager in the morning and invited her to our room she came and looked at it and offered us another room but it was the same as the one we were in and the only difference was the fridge was in better condition so we refused this room and asked for our money back she said she had bigger room but we would have to wait till people checked out so asked us to stay at our room till she had keys,,,, so we went for breakfast lol what a joke boiled or fried eggs pasta chips some kind of cold meat nothing was refridgerated just put out on plastic trays uncovered and lots of flys about so we decided to have toast and tea as the rest wasnt fit for eating.....At 1.30pm she came to our room with keys for what she called an apartment lol 2 rooms 1 with 2 beds and delapitaded furnishing when we seperated the beds the floor was filthy and hadnt seen a brush or mop for yrs in the other room a bed settee and chair bed and more delapitated furniture we decided to take this as nothing else was on offer ....It wasnt till we had moved in we realised there was no air con in the room with the beds only in the other one so we had to leave the door open at all times when in the room,,, it was very dirty and the sheet on the bed didnt fit and pillows were yellow stained with peoples sweat.. holes in the mattress and threadbare towels .... NO SIGN OF THE REFURBISHMENT STATED IN BROCURE AND WEBSITE we never seen a rep the whole week we were there bed linen was never changed or towels and room never got cleaned at all we took out our own rubbish ..so first day of holiday ruined as we spent the time hanging around the hotel waiting for decent room ...on day 2 i awoke with swollen eyes and sore throat by day 4 i was coughing and runny nose and by the time we left for airport we both were ill coughing and very breathless and glad to be coming home to uk...we had phoned home on the thurs and booked doctors appointments for the monday morning.... we explained to our gps about the dirty hotel and the air conditioning unit on verandah leaking water day and night and we were diagnosed with legionnaires disease... it has been 6 weeks since we took ill and we are both still in recovery and had to take 3 courses of strong antibiotics and i had to take steriods as i have diabetes and ashtma it will be a good few more weeks till we are fully recovered ...I HAVE WRITTEN TO THE COMPANY NO JOY SO FAR IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HOLIDAY IN BULGARIA DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL ITS THE MOST DISGUSTING PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE.... SUNNY BEACH IS A LOVELY PLACE BUT THEY NEED TO SHUT THIS DUMP DOWN

I've been going to sunny beach for the past 12 years and never had a problem with hotels and alinclusive , until I entered this hellhole arrived at 1.30am staff couldn't understand English , we went up to our room and I instantly wanted to go home wot a dive , fridge was mouldy , beds had no mattresses so had to use the sofa cushions there was no wardrobe to hang clothes in so had to use a hat stand curtains hanging off the rail wall lights hanging of the wall the toilet base and seat had been painted in gloss , there's no room between beds and cupboard so constantly banged our shins causing bruising and pain , going down to breakfast next morning the disappointment still continued just 3 trays of food disgusting for alinclusive, so eventually we went to balkan office and asked if they could move us yes we can for an extra £1000 claiming we was in a 3 star when it clearly said on the board 2 star , we couldn't afford this so remained in this hostal and I promised balkan holidays I would be writing this review to which she just shrugged her shoulders, we stayed out of this dump as much as we could but was told by other guests that wen the food ran out there was no more, we had to hire a pool from another hotel at 5 lv each per day as could not get in our pool for all the debris from the trees , pool bar only served soft drinks when it was open it took 4 people to understand what a glass of coke was. The cleaning staff were useless only changed our bed once in a fortnight only because I threw the bedding on the floor when I took the pillow cases off the pillows were drown with years of people's sweat and slaver made me feel sick .Please avoid this hellhole pay that little bit extra for a proper hotel I wish I had .Tracy H

we arrived here 15/06/17.i was shocked when we arrived.no hand rails on entry and high steps.(i have mobility problems).reception was dull and not really friendly.when te bell boy took us up to our room he waited for a tip.the room was clean but omg one look at it and i wanted out of there.there was no hanging wordrobe we used a coat stand and glad we had hangers with us.the bathroom well wet room was unsafe.there was no handrails in there at all the tiles were NOT anti slip not nice at all the toilet seat looked like it needed bleaching and was all scratched.the beds were of wood surround and painful if you knocked into them.i had ripped sheets on my bed.the food was disgusting.we did not eat any of it.it always had a funny smell.the bar area was ok but staff really misrable.the reasturant wants a complete revamp.the pool area was dirty i never saw it being swept/washed in a whole week.it looked like it had not been cleaned in years.the trees were hanging over the pool and this caused the pool to look mucky all the time.i could not use the pool due to the steps.this hotel was sold to us as a 3 star but it only has a 2 star award on the door.the pool bar only opened when they felt like opening it.the toilets in the reception area were always dirty and wet.when you asked a member of staff for toilet paper they made out they did not understand you.the cleaning maids were ok but would only leave you 1 toilet roll in your room per day.while we were there on allinclusive most of the spirits were not avalible only the ones that you paid for. WE WILL DEFINETLY NOT RETURN TO THIS FAULTY TOWERS.best thing about it was the return coach back to the airport.

The best thing about this hotel is its location.Located 5 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from the beach.Otherwise, the entire hotel was renovated compared to last year and I can say that, looking at the picture as earlier, much has been done.
Everything is renovated from the bathroom to the terrace, as well as the hall of the hotel. There are two lifts.Breakfast is a classic, and for 2 * hotel is quite good.
Staff excellent. The disadvantages are that there is no internet in the rooms and that the environment of swimming pool is not exactly arranged (old broken beach chairs and tables). There are still some little things that need to improve, for example, did not replace old refrigerators in all rooms!? When I say old,I mean really old.The pool is clean and has excellent sheltered place between pine trees so that the shade is all day (great for kids). The hotel has parking next to be paid 5e day, not expensive, has a guardian non stop, and good part of it is in the shade. And who was with car knows what it means parking place there.Next to the hotel is the best bakery in the whole city, currency exchange and a supermarket.
I think that if they make some correction, next season will certainly have a third star.
