What can I say I read reviews & say it can’t be that bad & people just moan for no reason but believe me it is that bad !!!!!! We stayed for 2 weeks on floor 1 not once was our beds changed, some of our group where lucky on other floors & did have the there sheets changed. We often ran out of toilet roll so had to keep getting it from down stairs & often had to ask for clean towels. Ok so the food, breakfast ur ok if u like boiled eggs as not even they can get that wrong, my daughter did like the chocolate cereals. Lunch & dinner was always some meat & fish…….if it was cooked was another matter & if u could actually get some meat & not just fat. Ok if u like chips & rice but even then not always hot. Some people pile & pile there plates then just leave it all. This really should be addressed by the staff but to be fair they are bloody useless. Staff r young & probably get paid next to nothing but they r there to do a job so management should b addressing them standing around doing nothing or just on there phones. They need to actually address there staff hygiene issues as well. The pool it’s self was nice but need to have people cleaning up all the mess in the day We went with Balkan that advertised evening entertainment…….the only thing they had was mini disco 6 nights a week, no quiz, bingo etc as advertised. I always go with a open mind & think it’s a poor country & make the most of it after working all year round but this is definitely is a shambles & should not be advertised as suitable for English as it definitely isn’t something I would expect to pay for BELIEVE THE REVIEWS IT REALLY IS THAT BAD !!!!!!!!! Will got back to Bulgaria like I have for years but this place need closing down Thanks to the group we went with making the most of it or I would have been gutted

OK, so I wasn't expecting great things, having read the reviews! So, we had a family room, which was great, shower was great, we had a big veranda which was great, on the 5th floor facing the pool area. We often sat up there in the day, soaking up the sun, and in the evenings, listening to the wonderful night life. The cleaner, lovely sweet old lady, did change my bed every day, gave us new towels every day. The food, well, pretty dire, but, after what we had paid for the trip, it wasn't surprising that it wasn't great. The worst thing was seeing people pile their plates high, and leaving so much, the food wastage was awful, people were so greedy. The staff weren't particularly friendly, but they were functioning. Limited soft and alcohol drinks, but enough choice. The pool area was clean, ish, and the pool itself was great for a swim. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, our room was a great base. However, I would 100% go either room only/self-catering/bed & breakfast. I bought a small kettle from Janet Market, as we wanted to have drinks in our room, there was a fridge to put our milk and soft drinks in. All in all, it depends on what you want from a holiday. We had an awesome time in Sunny Beach, despite this, and, having seen the reviews, we had already geared ourselves up for a disappointing meal selection, BUT, I'd go again in a heartbeat. I think their budget for food is minimal, so they have to be able to produce an enormous amount of food, on a very small budget, hence the quality was not the best, but then again, it might be great for some people. So, book, be warned, enjoy the wonderful town, with loads of places to eat, and things to do!

Awful place to stay! Not worth the money and not 4-star! Dirty carpets with other guests hair everywhere, stains on the cushions and the bed very uncomfortable - so much so that my son slept on the sofa. The lights were broken in the room and the sockets loose. The area around the pool was untidy - left over food plates and cups strewn around, napkins left lying around on the floor. The pizza/BBQ area was dirty as was the pizza oven - if you can call tomato ketchup spread on a flat bread with grated hotdogs and a smidge of cheese a pizza 😂 We reluctantly stayed here for 2 nights whilst waiting for a transfer (which we gladly paid extra, for a downgrade in board, to do). The 'dining room' is uninviting, a free for all, no organisation or service and the food is inedible and looks vile - the whole atmosphere in itsellf was enough to put a downer on our day. The noise coming in our room from the street was wild, our room was facing Flower Street (but with trees blocking any view!) so my 12YO didn't manage to sleep because of the noise - without the balcony door open too! The only decent thing about the room was the air con! The staff were rude and unfriendly/not approachable, they look like they're on community service- sick as pigs and don't have a smile between them, which disappointed my son who is overly friendly and said hello to each staff member. We stupidly only read the reviews the night before flying, being a '4* hotel' and all, and thought people must've been exaggerating, but I'd be generous to give it a 1*! Another family, who we didn't know, had also requested to move hotel having the same experience.

The hotel is super cool. I totally recomand you to visit it. Even though the WiFi isn't working perfectly it's still fine. The pool is awesome. And the food is totally awesome. The animators are super cool and talking to them is also cool! The games the make are totally entertaining. In my opinion Alex is the coolest animator here, talk to her y'all!

It was the worst experience ever. I would only recommend you to go there for sleeping. The staff was unprepared and highly impolite. They had a bad attitude when we asked them something . We ate the same bad food everyday (oil burnt frech fries, uncooked chicken wings, overcooked pork neck, and a few other awful dishes). The coffee and water machines were very dirty. So was the ice cream fridge. When we first arrived the pool was very dirty. The wifi is paid (10 leva per day, 30 leva per week). The only good things were the size of the room and location. The hotel was very close to the centre.

The worst hotel in Sunny Beach!! The service was terrible with one of the receptionists had a very bad attitude throughout my whole stay. Parking is paid (10 BGN per day). Drinks are served in plastic cups, excluding some cocktails eg. Gin and tonic. Throughout dinner one of the members of staff was very drunk. We filed a complaint to the agency about this and they took the measures needed giving us a refund and allowing us to leave the hotel 3 days before we were ment to leave. His eyes blood red and blasted music were going on throughout the whole place. The room only had one plug which was in the most uncomfortable place. The ladies that clean the rooms however do an incredible job to clean the dirty mess. The food is repetitive, daily. We get served the same food every single day. The beach is about 20 minutes away from the actual hotel on foot. At around midnight the music continues. The room has very poor AC but it still does a decent job. The TV only had 22 channels which were all either international or are boring. The TV wasn't working at first, but we managed to fix it. The bathroom was pretty good. However, the pool was ice cold on a sunny 31-degree day. The average temperature I would say the pool is is probably around 18-19 degrees which is shocking for the temperature. The lighting in the room is also very poor. The hotel is also situated about 2 minute away from street ,,Първа,, which is a very loud, busy and crowded street, so sometimes you can hear the noise from here. Worst hotel in Sunny Beach. DO NOT GO HERE

The room was not really clean after previous customers. Was a lot of hair on the floor, in the bathroom, urine drops near the toilet. The room was looking like an outbreak of infection, dangerous to health. I'm not sure if the bedding has been changed... really disgusting to sleep. I immediately asked for the room to be cleaned and the behavior of the receptionists was unprofessional and only agreed to clean the room after I told them I was calling the police as I have the right to get a decent clean room.

We have had the best time ever, the hotel is fantastic, they work very bard to make it a safe place during covid. The entertainment team is absolutely amazing, always keeping us occupied and very very friendly. Ideal place for families with children, the water park is great fun, and the main pool is really good too. The only down points I can think of is the snacks are not really snacks, its proper main food, I would prefer more like yogurt, little wraps or sandwiches. Also, internet connection is very bad, even in the lobby keeps shutting off. Apart from this two points, the hotel is SUPERB!!!
