From reception staff fobbing us off from one day to the next, to bed bugs, to "premium" dining making the main dining hall look like the staff canteen, getting up at 6am to get towels on a sunbed to reserve a space, to noise from the nightclub across the road at the Flamingo, to an unhelpful Tui rep, to leaking air conditioning, to being placed here by Tui instead of the (Tui platinum) Riu Astoria in Golden Sands that we originally booked, to rude eastern Europeans barging in front to get food, to raw burgers... Would we visit Sunny Beach again? Possibly. Would we stay at the DiT Evrika Beach Hotel again? Definitely not! This claims to be a four star, but as a subs

Came here 12 years ago & thought it would be nice to return with grandchildren. Room was ok, cleaned everyday. Lacked tea making facilities(premium only). Arrived early hours, very little interaction with reception staff. Left to find our own rooms!! Hotel staff not very friendly, not even a smile. Animation team really friendly(well the guys) not so much the girls. Food was VERY repetitive, like the same every evening!!! Snack bar was the same, even the children got bored with it & didn't want to eat. Don't think we will return again

Stayed for 11 nights in premium. Far too busy in hotel and resort. Staff are mainly kids, with poor English and no manners. Resort is manic, you literally stop and form a queue behind you. Prices have risen massively in Sunny Beach. I wouldn't return to Evrika or Bulgaria. We have been 5 times to Bulgaria and post COVID completely different experience. The main lunch buffet is like feeding time at the zoo. The Eastern Europeans all act like gangsters and it whole feel of the hotel is not a nice one. As someone from UK I would avoid this hotel. Animation tried their best but again kids and poor. This is an honest review as we stayed at this hotel 15 years ago and this time was completely different. Literally a cocktail on the wall is called Bl0wjob, now I'm no prude but I don't think this is necessary. Drinks are massively watered down too, plus the queues for drinks is shocking. Also no waiter service just collects empty glasses. For the price it's nowhere near worth it. Slides are great although the lifeguards, especially the old one just like telling ppl off all day.

On the first day I wanted to change the room because there was a smelly smell from the sewage system Failure ... NOBODY HELPED I TALKED FROM YOUR MANAGER ZERO RESPONSE TO ARRIVING GUESTS. There was also no internet, which I asked for 4 days in turn ... Dinners still the same service as in Bulgaria, everyone lives differently in their country - they really cheat every day ...Pigs AND CHERRY BARNS WITHOUT CULTURE ... 🤏 Idiots. After a few days, people had digestive problems and stomach upset ... Cleaning the rooms was just changing the towels and a roll of paper for the mole ... I DO NOT RECOMMEND ..... 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 I have visited many countries .. and lived in a real hotel .... here in Bulgaria only the weather is ok ... the rest is really ..... In the photos everything is done in fact, the hotel is dirty, it will be even worse .... what I have where I live and this hotel is a boarding house for Bulgarians ..... I won't write details, it doesn't make sense .. .. ..🤮

Fantastic hotel. Is it the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in? No. But is it good value family hotel? Yes. Loads to do, own beach with a bar, big pool, choice of flumes, kids’ club, arcade, entertainment…. It’s exactly what a family holiday should be.

Several reasons why we won’t stay again… - mess up of rooms and premium upgrade meant 3 beds for 4 people! - 2 of the beds had several slats missing and not fit for purpose meant my partner had to sleep on mattress on the floor for the first night! - covered in bites that since returning home have discovered theses are bed bug bites!! At first we thought mosquito but we didn’t really have any problems with them and after reading what these particular lumps are that are very sore under my armpit and speaking with my Dr being concerned about lumps under my arm suddenly appearing I’ve found out they are chigger bites! This will be reported to TUI - Avoid room D152 in premium block! - sewage smell in bathroom reported twice before they attempted to do anything about it - cleaners use of mops from room to room that just leaves other people’s hair from the mop in your room that I ended up picking up with tissue - Gluten Free options are limited and not all the restaurant staff understand so you have to go through several people before someone understands your request for gf pasta or pancakes to be cooked separately in the kitchen - A la carte restaurants don’t really offer any options for gf even with advance booking of 3 days at the Italian they still only offered chicken or fish with vegetables! An Italian couldn’t offer gf pasta or pizza with notice, and the lied saying they had no gf pasta on site when we had it a few nights before in the premium restaurant and went straight there after walking out and ordered it from premium restaurant! - Water slides only open for 1-2 hours a day, 1 slide at a time - Lazy river useless you basically just walk around the river, no pump to direct water and push you around! - Toilets by pool and lobby where shop is are disgusting and have strong urine smell! - cleanest toilets are the ones in the premium building, block D - smell lovely and very clean - cleaners do just tend to sit around the lobby in premium block on the stairs on their phone chewing gum Would not return here again! Hotel has gone down hill since our first visit 7 years ago.

We have been there from 17th untill 24th of July as a family with 1 child and we spent great, relaxing time there, polite staff, animation team do their best, good food - you can choose every day somthing, perfect coctails especially from bartender called Burak, awesome beach where is pleasure to walk and enjoy nice, sunny atmosphere, amazing sea with sand entrance suitable for children and older people, we enjoyed walking around; pool, however watter is a bit colder as I wanted, but you can survive :) We can recommend this hotel. And the trip to nearest town Nesebar.

Some of the staff behaved rudely, I thought we were foreigners and didn't understand Bulgarian and they allowed themselves to speak to us in THEM.The food in the restaurant was not varied enough. It was very noisy, there was loud music in the evening and the child could not sleep until late.

Got to the hotel Tuesday morning and it did not look anything like the one on the advert and certainly wasn’t on the sea front over looking the beach, this was one of many key requirements for us. They gave us a small food bag with a sandwich that looked like it had sat in the sun all day and a gone off apple. The lady told us it was from the lunch time snack bar. We politely took the food and asked for directions to our room. We got to our room after looking for 20 minutes due to lack of directions. On arrival to our room we found a tiny room with one bed. We made our way back to reception where we were told that’s all we had paid for. After a long discussion and proving we had paid for a bigger twin room with balcony that we thought overlooked the sea or water park she then agreed. But then the man asked for proof by us having to show our booking reference, they finally both agreed but told us we was in another block and had informed us they did not have a room spare. We asked what they meant by block and that the website only showed one hotel. They explained the hotel on the website was a premium hotel and wasn’t for us. By this time we we’re to tired to care after waiting around even longer, we finally got a twin room and we went to bed at 6am. We then got woken up by cleaning staff who’s room was next to us. Every time they shut the door our room would shake. On top of this they also kept banging outside our room as this is where their metal cages were kept. This kept waking us up until 8am. When we got up after finally getting 3-4 hours sleep it was around 12pm. I felt very itchy all down my legs and noticed I had been bitten all down them, I believe this was due to the bedding. Later we found out the room we we’re put in was a staff room that was quickly sorted for us. We started to get ready and noticed the bathroom door lock was broken and falls off the door, the shower is not practical / water tight with a barrier approximately 1 inch high and a curtain that hangs about 3 inch off the floor leading to the whole bathroom and part of the room flooding. When getting ready we smelt a lot of cannabis that made us feel sick. We made our way down to the pool in the hope we can have some fun in the water park, one of the main reason we booked the hotel. We were looking forward to the lazy river and the big slide but low and behold the whole park is shut!! Looking at the pool and how dirty it was I don’t think it would have been a good idea to use it anyway. Also when they did open on our last day they didn’t silly inflatable rings for the lazy river. The arcade had 2 claw machines, 1 pinball machine and a bike game that I can only describe as being from the 70’s / 80’s held together with tape and the main bike game not working. We came to a nice building it was a newer building, at the back of the other two blocks, the one shown on the pictures online. This looked really nice however we were told by security we were not allowed to use the facilities in this building and it was a premium building. This is the building that looks over the beach and water park, again the one mentioned online when booking our holiday, the one that not only we thought we we’re getting but the other guests thought they were getting. The pizza chef that was on his cleanliness was shocking, he was sniffing into his arms and wiping his face and not changing gloves over. This continued every day he was working. A lot of the meat was also very undercooked and gave us a bad belly. Other than that the food wasn’t to bad. The bar staff are rude and aggressive wouldn’t serve us unless we have them a tip. One also threatened us and tried to bully us into paying 100 lev each for putting elbows in the bar. The bar staff will also let locals skip the queue when queuing for drinks. The cannabis smoking from the staff continued for our hole holiday and the noise kept us up every morning. The rooms are not the rooms shown on the hotel website so be careful ! Overall the hotel itself I would say could get away with being a 4 star but the management and staff let it down. I will never stay here again.

With 2 kids (11 and 3 years old) we’ve had an amazing experience. Great double room, o e room with a king size bed and one with two single beds, 2 bathrooms, ac, minifridge, tv and balcony. Lot of playgrounds, waterpool with 0,3 m water and water slides and big pool. Free sunbeds at the pool and on the beach(private beach). Good and various food options. Great place. I highly recommend!
