Cons: Although food was pretty good for a buffet, desert options were rather lame (but fruits were really fresh). If you want to drink water in your room, you have to buy it yourself (not allowed to fill our own water bottle in restaurant/snack bar). Gym was okay but rather poor for a 4-star hotel: a workout is possible, but not super pleasant.

The cons were not a deal breaker at all, I just wanted to point them out

We are staying in Diamant Residence at the moment. I can describe with one word - Gourgeous!It's very posh, rooms are spotless, staff is very professional and helpful. The restaurant is awesome with lots of choices of meat, pasta, salad, a food suitable for people who likes vegetarian and vegan food. We are with a very small baby, his bed is absolutely fantastic. Diamant residence is like little paradise in Sunny Beach. Maybe is one of the best hotels I've visited.

We visited the hotel several times before we had a child, so I didn't pay much attention to the child facilities, but we were very pleased with the hotel. At the end of June, we stayed for a week with our 11-month-old boy. We were accommodated in a two-bedroom apartment with a small living room, a bathroom and a very large terrace. The bedrooms were quite spacious, and the living room was small but sufficient for the baby to play.

For our child, they offered a crib, changing table, high chair, bathtub on a stand, step stool for the sink in the bathroom, child seat for the toilet, and a foldable summer stroller. Everything was in a perfect cindition .The apartment was very clean, with nothing worn out or broken, very nice and modern. Often at seaside hotels, I've had issues with hot water or water pressure, but here there were no problems - super strong water pressure and we had our own water heater, which was enough for three adults and one child without any issues. The room also had a brand-new kettle, unlike the rather unpleasant ones I've encountered elsewhere. There was air conditioning and a TV in every room.

The food was on an All-Inclusive basis. Breakfast at the restaurant offered quite a variety, very delicious. There was a snack bar in front of the restaurant, making sandwiches and, if I'm not mistaken, waffles/pancakes. Very good lunch. For dinner they offered different themed menus - Italian night, Bulgarian night, seafood night, etc. The food was tasty and plentiful.

There was an animation team with various schedule. In the evening, there was a children's disco at 8:30 PM, which my son insisted on attending. The children enjoyed dancing with the animators and they had fun. After that, there were quizzes and games for adults.

By the pool, there was a climbing frame with slides where we spent some time, and the little one played. I think there was also a room with PlayStations, but I'm not sure; I heard about it from some children.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel, the staff, and the food. I had slight concerns about the distance to the beach, but we got there very quickly, and the concerns quickly disappeared.

In conclusion, we really liked it, the conditions for a child are excellent, and we have booked another week for August. One of the best hotels on Bulgarian coast.

After staying 11 days at the hotel I was able to form an opinion which is divided between positive and negative.

Positive:
- The hotel and rooms are very clean. The rooms are quite spacious.

- The money exchange in the hotel is the best place to change your money.

- Wifi works (only in the entrance hall)

- In the restaurant. The servers quickly remove the dishes, which prevents the table from being filled with plates.

Negative:
- The staff is surely in the top 5 of the most unpleasant people in the hotel industry. If you are unfortunate enough to ask the staff a question, they will respond coldly and look at you as if you are bothering them.

- Although the food is more or less varied, it quickly gets cold, which is unpleasant when we eat.

- Concerning the animators. Even if they give everything to create an atmosphere. They give the impression of not knowing what to do and not being energetic enough.

- Advice for elevators. Take the stairs it will go much faster.

- Some staff members speak English and others not at all. I advise you to brush up on your Bulgarian if you want to communicate easily with staff members.

- If you are used to private hotel beaches. Here, this is not the case. So take beach towels, parasols, etc. with you. If you don't want to rent 15€ deckchair + parasols every time you go.

- So the towels for the swimming pool... I'll tell you right away where they are because the staff is not able to indicate. It is located to the left of the pool bar. If you're lucky, the guy will be there straight away. Otherwise you will wait 20 minutes.

Here is my opinion after this stay. Lots of negatives which means I will never return to this hotel.

1. **Atmosphere and atmospherelessness**: The hotel looks nice upon entering, but lacks a cozy atmosphere. It is very quiet in the evenings and we were even addressed by the staff to be quiet in the lobby, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. The bar also closes early and no late night snacks are offered, which was a miss.
2. **Food**: The quality of the food was poor. The food was tasteless, cold, and there was little variety. There was confusion about the meat (like the hot dog that was presented as chicken, but actually turned out to be pork). There were also mix-ups in the plates of the food, which caused extra confusion. This led us to decide to eat outside the hotel more often.
3. **Parking and access**: There were no parking spaces at the hotel, which made it difficult to park our car close by. In addition, there were repeated problems with the room cards, which were blocked again and again, causing inconvenience when entering the room. The waiting times for the lift were also very annoying.
4. **Leakage and damage**: Our family had a leak in the room which led to damaged clothes and a soggy suitcase. The hotel staff did not come to see the damage, and although the clothes were washed, their condition, including stains and a musty smell, was unacceptable. The hotel offered no apology or compensation and claimed that the smell came from Bulgarian Ariel detergent.
5. **Spa experience**:
The spa experience was a nightmare, it was not at all satisfactory, especially by entering the room uninvited during a treatment. Men (staff) entered the room several times during the hammam and massage treatment, which made it very uncomfortable. Forcibly removing underwear for treatment, especially under threat of aggressive behaviour by staff, is unacceptable. The staff seemed to show no respect for our borders, and even the manager responded unprofessionally. There was no apology either, and we were not comfortable. We didn't feel safe or respected, which further ruined our holiday experience.
If the staff behaves in this way, it is not only a major invasion of your privacy, but also a form of inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. Yelling at guests while they feel uncomfortable and vulnerable only makes the situation worse. These kinds of experiences should not be tolerated in any hotel or spa.

(Hotel Galleon Residence staff), same Spa center (Spa & Beauty) as in hotel Diamant Residence.

6. **Complaint handling**: After all these incidents we decided to file a complaint with Corendon, but unfortunately no solution was offered by the hotel and the travel company Corendon.
All in all, our experience with the hotel, both in terms of service and accommodation, has led to a holiday that was not satisfactory. Given the various problems we have experienced, we would never recommend this hotel and Spa center. In addition, we would never recommend this country, terrible!

The ten of us stayed in this hotel from Sunday evening June 9 to Sunday afternoon June 16.
- When we arrived around 10:15 PM and checked in, we were given a bottle of water and some kind of healthy sandwich. The kitchen was already closed;
- The rooms are spacious and fully equipped;
- The staff is very customer-oriented -> friendly, willing to help, sometimes a bit shy.
- Most of us have been to this hotel before and received a warm, almost friendly welcome.
- The animation team is enthusiastic and tries to make contact with everyone in a good way;
- The food is good, always a choice between meat, fish or vegetarian. There is also a Bulgarian evening with various Bulgarian dishes;
- You can drink anything there; bar staff also friendly;
- The hotel is really SPOTLESS!!!
- Location is good -> a few kilometers from Nessebar, easy to reach by train or bus. Nessebar is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Flower Street is also easy to reach by bus. The beach is a 10-minute walk away.
- Tip: place a box of tissues in every hotel room.

Very nice hotel. Nice rooms, very clean. The staff is very friendly, except the manager I think (blonde women with curly hair, very arrogant). The show team is great, the bar team also. Po very clean but a little small for all the hotel. The food was very good, very diversified meniu and very good. All day they have somennthing good for you, from the breakfast, snack bar (hot dog burgers, pancakes, waffles, ice cream) until dinner (Italian food, Chinese food, vegan food, all types). The cocktails are very good.
The hotel is near bus station, stores, the beach is 5 min away.

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is very friendly, if they can't explain it in English they do it with sign language. The food was good and varied. The breakfast had different bread choices, types of cheese, toppings and all kinds of eggs and bacon, grains and muesli and hot food such as sausages, beans in tomato sauce.
I will definitely come back again. Sunny beach is also clean on the streets.

Thank you for a very pleasant holiday in your hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is nice and food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious and everyday there are numerous different meals to choose from. Just 5 minutes away from the sea where you can get by a comfortable path. All in all it was a great holiday with absolutely no troubles, thank you! :-)

Thibaut, me and our daughter stayed at this hotel from 19 july to 30th July.

We had a lovely stay!

We want to thank the AMAZING animation team for making our nights incredible and fun! Everyone is so adorable and kind! Sundays are never the same when you are away! The shows and animation are always creative and we have always had a good laugh.

Big thank you to the incredible kitchen staff for such a big buffet from morning to evening and the efficient staff that cleans and tidies so that we are always well served.

Big thank you to the cleaning lady who was so lovely to clean our room every day and even if we did not put the sign up.

Thanks to the hairdresser who wonderfully cut our daughters hair, she was never so happy about a haircut!

Thanks to the very sweet towel man who was always very kind with us!

Thanks to the reception staff, the cleaners who are always cleaning the hotel.

We also had a nice treatment at the SPA.

Last but not least, Thanks to the hotel and all the organizers to have made our stay so lovely!

Have a good Summer!
