1 star hotel The jacuzzi is not working. The kitchen has the same food all week.nothing new. The carpet in the room is burnt in two places. Curtains dirty with oil. Bed linen with holes. The lock on the shower door didn't work. The shower is just awful with one door, water leaks onto the floor into the toilet. Horror. I will never return here.

First impression was what a lovely hotel, big airy room with plenty of hanging space etc, hotel was spotless , nice pool with plenty of sun loungers. but then went to the restaurant, very little choice and what choice there was was so overcooked and dry, the bread was so dry and stale, and every day/ night was the same. The all inclusive snacks were just whatever hadnt been eaten the meal before. The 2 nights of entertainment advertised was 1 night of Bulgarian dancers in the car park during evening meal . Such a shame as if they had a half decent cook and a little entertainment it would have been a great hotel. 10/10 for the cleaning staff.

First time in Bulgaria, Lovely hotel, friendly staff, food varied if sometimes a little cold but microwave on counter if needed, location o/k, would stay at calypso again, only downside was the English complaining (chips cold, we will get our money back if we complain, I don't think so)

This hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful working 15 hr days and doubling up on jobs This a quite hotel with nothing to do but relax Unfortunately my stay was dampened by other guests. Complain for all to hear when it should have been between them and the hotel . And the mis infomation they received with there travel provider. The food wasn’t its best but my husband and I had no issue. My mother a lady who is unwell and the best of times and may not have opportunities to travel again. Did not eat much and was frightened by the conversations been had. I would like to thank the staff at the hotel who took care of us during our stay. Even with the language barrier as many of them spoke very little or no English they always did the best they could.

Where do I start...my partner came down with food poisoning along with many other guests due to under cooked and reheated meat...my partner has not been abroad before and was very ill..I felt sorry for the cleaners as they had their work cut out!...The staff did not care and confronting the Manager of the hotel proved uncaring and not interested which is very concerning indeed...Bulgaria is a beautiful country..so if you would love to Holiday in Bulgaria please do not stay at this hotel

At this hotel at present , the only good thing about it is that it is clean. The food is inedible, cold , raw chicken, snotty fried eggs , food left out for entirety of service time , nowhere near what the core temperature should be . Same food , eg , chicken or pork , soup water , with chicken and veg in. Toaster not working on arrival, 5 days to get a toaster that is an easy fix Many people were violently sick including my partner, 3 days out of 7, staff rude and miserable. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

Hotel is very smart, clean to a high standard. However the food is not excellent. if you like shark, liver and rice or octopus your in for a treat but you will have to reheat your food.. yes the food is cold [microwave is provided] 2 lev will get you on the bus to sunny beach. ample of eateries offering steaks, burgers, pizzas and chips. main restaurant and only restaurant is NOT open all day. Breakfast 07:30 -10:00 (ok) Lunch 12:30-14:30 (no comment) Afternoon snacks 15:00 - 17:00 ( cold chips, cold Pizza or cold sausages) only option Evening meal 18:30 - 21:00 No kettle in your room, however hot water machine available near the lifts. i personally wouldnt return to this hotel.
