The hotel is well situated - close to the beach (250m), Nessebar and the airport in Burgas. Very large double room, bed linen and towels changed every 2-3 days. The service at the reception was average, and the guys and the old lady in the restaurant were very nice. The food was tasty, with a nice selection of dishes. We had 3 meals, so we could have cold drinks (wine, beer, juices) for lunch and dinner. Overall, the hotel is worth the price.
I have to criticize TUI for sending people at 7 a.m. to a hotel where the day starts at 2 p.m. and the first meal is dinner at 7 p.m. 18.

On arrival 3.00 am looking all around for the receptionist to check in we saw who we thought was a guest fast asleep like a Dormouse hibernating on one of the many sofas, it took us over 5 minutes to bring the young man back into the land of the living not a good start to our vacation. Breakfast was cold thick hotdog sausage, cold scrambled omelette and cold fried dough not good. No imagination was used for the breakfast menu eg cereals, croissants or some other tasty food cooked fresh and served HOT. The maids were pleasant the rooms were clean and well maintained. Nice hotel pleasant staff. Food very very dissapointing. No bar only pool bar but closes at 5.30 sometimes otherwise 6.30. Not allowed to take own drinks in or food or you get a fine. My advice steer clear. Sorry we didn't book zefir again. Only saving grace is it is around corner from john smiths bar with great staff, great food, great entertainment and a warm welcome.

AVOIDDDD! terrible hotel food is absolutely disgusting they were serving spaghetti for breakfast as some point. For an all inclusive paid for hotel they only allowed you to have one glass of juice and would charge extra for water. You cannot take food and drinks to the hotel with you. The staff are very rude and speak no english. The bathroom would flood every day and a hazard as it was very slipper even thought we wasted all our towels on the floor to make sure we dont trip and die. pool was tiny. The only good thing about this hotel was the location as it was close to the beach yet had no access to sunbeds like the other hotels.

Day 1, The hotel claimed they did not have our booking and suggested we checked in and they would contact Expedia, the manager asked to borrow my phone to forward the booking details.
Day 2, claimed there was no internet in Bulgaria despite it being available in the adjacent businesses.
Day 3, claimed Expedia was impossible to contact – At this point, I realized we were being scammed, collated my booking information, and found the mail had been deleted from my phone. Contacted Expedia and informed them we were being set up for a large bill at the end of the vacation.
Day 4, confronted the hotel manager who called in a minder and negotiated an exit. Informed that the non-Expedia booking rate was treble the Expedia rate. Each time the manager used her calculator she managed to double the final result. Finally, we agreed on a sum of 225 lev (based roughly on the £22 Expedia price) and I was given a bogus receipt for sundry items.
Day 5, Expedia contacted me and claimed the hotel had received the booking and debited the full amount on top of the additional paid.
Total scam and loss just under £160 – As the individual concerned was the only English-speaking member of staff, I guess this treatment is reserved for those who do not speak Russian or Bulgarian.

Esperanto is a nice place, dunes. Hotel is walking distance to Sunny Beach and close to the main road Nessebar and the beach. The cleao lady was crying every time she came to clean our room. Nice lady, we wanted to give her some tip. But she would not take it. She was too petrified of we don't know who. She should be continuously employed there.

The hotel and room are fine. Food of the worst kind. Same. You can eat bread and eggs. Will do the trick. But the service. Come on, hold me. The waiters collect the plates while you are still eating, they watch from behind the counter and stand idly by, or they are absent. There is a lack of cutlery and glasses of food while moving. You won't find Niko during this time. Some people walk between the tables with such joy in their faces and attitude, we are waiting for someone to get hit in the head. The food was a disaster, I rate this part zero. If there was an option without food it would be better. Opinions about other meals are also not favorable. From what people in the lobby say.
Internet in the hotel, this is not true. There isn't one in my room. You have to sit in the lobby

Had a lovely time staying at the Esperanto Hotel, had everything needed. The room was spacious, had a mini fridge, shower room and really spacious balcony.
The room was cleaned everyday, with fresh towels and bedding regularly.
Communal areas was clean and tidy.

We booked Bed and Breakfast, the staff were humbled by our thank yous. It is at the quieter end of Sunny Beach. It had local amenities on its doorstep.

Just returned from Bulgaria after staying in this hotel from 19 - 27 August. The rooms are spacious but the carpet was disgustingly dirty. My 13 month old son was filthy when crawling around and when I say filthy I mean his knees, feet and hands were literally black. The rooms do not contain a kettle to heat up baby food or to even have a cup of tea. Apart from that the rooms were adequate and the balcony was large. The cleaner came everyday (not to clean the carpet though) and was very cheerful. Now for the really bad bit...the food was awful. We booked half board and never once ate in the restaurant. No toaster, warm milk and food that we could not recognise. This hotel does not cater for the British whatsoever. I would not stay here again despite the location being quite good.

We only stayed there two nights. First thing we noticed was the broken AC and even after we reported it at the reception right away no care was taken of it. As the room was not air conditioned and we came back late from a festival that night we could barely sleep and woke up just a couple of hours later. We asked a couple of times to either be moved to another room or for the AC to be fixed. First we were told that it could not be fixed as it was Saturday and nobody works on Saturdays or on Sundays. Then after long hesitation they decided to move us to another room which was much worse than the first one, with smaller fridge that we needed to cool the elements for the cool box. At least we had the AC on so we could catch up on sleep this time.

The worst came at the check-out when we kindly asked wether we could pay less since we did not get what we had booked. Not only the AC did not work in the first room, but it was also different from what was advertised on booking.com and the second room was even worse. The so-called 'manager' started shouting at us saying that it wasn't her fault, and it's booking.com who have to pay us back and she didn't like the 'clientele' from there anyway. She even didn't say sorry. Eventually we paid a whole lot of money for those two nights and remained extremely unsatisfied from our stay.
