The TUI BLUE Nevis Resort garners appreciation for its cleanliness, with many guests highlighting spotless rooms and well-maintained pools, as well as a commendable variety of food options and a family-friendly atmosphere. While rooms are praised for their spaciousness, some visitors mention they appear dated and occasionally suffer from maintenance issues. Staff members earn accolades for their friendly and efficient service, yet the resort's value is questioned by guests who find the cost of extras and dining high, which detracts from the overall standard. The location is favored for its balance of proximity to attractions and peaceful seclusion.

Coming to the end of my one weeks stay here and for the money, the hotel is perfect.

Hotel rooms are very spacious. Maid will come in and make beds and change towels but that’s about it.

Only allowed one room key per booking which is a bit of a pain if you have older children wanting to do their own thing.

Food in the restaurant is plentiful and varied, snack bar by the pool is also great there is also one al a carte restaurant which you can go to once per stay. Good choice of drinks including slush’s and cocktails.

Pools are good, could do with a clean as very gritty on the bottom but no need to get up early to put out towels on sun loungers as there are loads and no one really bothers to reserve till about 9am. Water slides are also a plus!

Staff, majority are friendly although some are very grumpy. Helpful to use the TUI app while there as this tells you what’s going on each day.

Walk to beach is 10 mins downhill into sunny beach. Also if you want to go to Nessebar you can get a number 5 or number 8 bus from the main road (5 min walk away) for 3 lev each way instead of the taxi service TUI advertise for 35 lev each way.

Overall having a nice time and price of holiday is about right.

My two daughters and I stayed at this hotel between 17th and 24th June. I wasn't sure what to expect from Reading the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The resort is quite big with 3 apartment blocks and a few pools. The kids pools were amazing and next to the main pool there was a small toddler pool 30cm deep with a canopy above. There were always sunbeds available throughout the day. There were always staff coming around to pick up the empty cups and rubbish as well, so it felt really clean. The toddler room provided much entertainment at times. We had a smaller room that slept up to 3 people which was fine but there was no bath just a shower and my 2 year old was not a fan! We made it work though. If I was to come again I would book a room with a bedroom and bath.

The food was really good in my opinion, always something for everyone and as the hotel was quite busy it was always fresh. The fresh pizza at lunch and dinner was amazing. The snack bar next to the pool always had a good selection and something different was always available throughout the day. We booked to go to the a la carte restaurant one evening which was lovely. There was a singer with a guitar and felt like we weren't even in the hotel. The only downside to the evening entertainment was the fact there was only two bar staff serving which led to long queues. We didn't really watch the entertainment but it seemed like they put on good shows.

To exit the hotel there was a path at the back. You couldn't go out the front way by foot as it was a busy highway road. Following the path at the back led you down to another main, less busy road. To the left was a bus stop that we used to go to Nesabar. It was very cheap to use not even a pound each way. If you walked to the right for around 10mins you would get to the beach and the main strip that seemed to go on for miles with bars restaurants and shops.

I was surprised to find a large resort with nice green spaces, big rooms (living and bedroom) and delicious food and sweets. I liked very much that the pools are big with a lot of sunbeds for everybody. The mini aqua park is ok and is enough for a little bit of entertainment. The beach is not so far away from the hotel 10-12 min normal walk.
It was a very nice stay, relaxing and we will come back, for sure.

Minuses (to improve hotel sevices -room 1130)

1) On our arrival we found in the furniture food left by the other tourists and a large roll of paper which they had wiped with it, but forgotten in another wardrobe.

2) We didn't have batteries in the remote controls, both for the TV and for the air conditioning. Obviously here I find that it is fault of the tourists who leave with things that don'belong to them, but I think that when the room is vacated the maid has to check all these things.

3) The bottle with shower gel was empty

4) In one day the maid tooked our face towels to change (maybe) but she didn't put others.

I think and I hope that it was a singular problem and that we were less lucky :(

Overall is a complete disappointment for the selection made based on the reviews.
There are few pluses, but many minuses.
The pluses are related to the location, which has many to offer for the people that like to go on a vacation and only stay in the hotel for the pools (the water is very cold). Rooms are large and cosy, reception is good and responding to client needs, children friendly (playground – free of charge, minigolf – free of charge, arcade – 3 BGN each game, pools for all request (babies , small children, adults), water slides, small inside pool and the pluses are finished.
Minuses:
It starts with the entry, while there are not enough parking spaces and for each car an additional charge of 10 BGN/day is requested although the information is not provided to the tourism agencies.
Going into the buildings, the cleaning service leaves a LOT of room for improvement both for common areas as well as for the rooms (to be more explicit I have no hair and the other family members have short brown hair and when we entered into the room for the first time, we found long black hair everywhere, we changed the room due to suage problems and in the new room the same problem. I cleaned myself the room and the next day after the cleaning service was made, again all the floor was with hair … of course long black). The conclusion is that they do not change the moping water and/or don’t clean the mops. No vacuuming is done.
Related to restaurant services, the food is not diversified and mostly terrible (experienced also expired / rotten food). My wife took the rotten food away, gave it to the restaurant employees, which guess what they did…. They put it back. Just to make things more exciting, one plate out of 3 is clean.
For the bar services only extra low-cost products are offered. The wine is like the water used for cleaning the wine barrels. Of course 1 glass out of 3 is clean.
The beach is further than presented ~30 – 40 min. walk, and is very small. Shuttle bus is offered but the schedule not very good.

Staff at this hotel were very miserable and everything was too much trouble.
Rooms were lovely and very clean
Average buffet
Man walking round trying to get you to book in spa is very rude and annoying
Not a good TUI experience everything is done on the app and if you don’t have your phone you don’t know what is happening regarding entertainment
Evening entertainment was rubbish
15 of us went and we all felt the same .
Pools are good and water slides but life guards are too busy on phones and none caring
I would not visit again

We had our holiday cancelled at short notice and found this, I booked it then read some of the trip advisor reviews and panicked I’d made a mistake.
Turns out I was wrong to worry.
This hotel is brilliant for families! Slides, kids club, entertainment, multiple pools….
The complex is pretty big yet it feels friendly.
All the staff were helpful and polite, any queries we were helped with straight away.
Via the Tui Blue app you can pre book activities such as kids club.
The children went to a few different sessions and enjoyed them all.
The food was far better than I’ve had at other all inclusive hotels. There is a good variety of food and a separate section for little children to make their choices.
We also found the drink selections good too.
The grounds and the rooms are immaculate, staff always around maintaining the area.
You can change your pool towels daily which we found handy having 2 small children who enjoyed the ice creams!!
We walked into the main resort of Sunny Beach on 2 occasions but the pavements are poor so ended up getting taxi’s which charge a flat rate, there is a list at the hotel.
Sunny Beach caters for everyone, we had 2 lovely meals out, visited a fair ground and the beach.
Overall we had a great holiday and was disappointed to leave. Would definitely go back.

Overall we had a fantastic week away!

Firstly the negatives….

Yes there are issues with the toilets in most areas! They don’t seem to be cleaned more than once a day. However….. the best issue is people just being minging and vandalising doors etc for no reason!!

Other than that we had no negatives all week!

The pools are great and as long as you engage with the lifeguards, cleaners (who constantly go around clearing up glasses and plates that people haven’t put in the creates for empties!) and other staff, they are really friendly and a great laugh!

The TUI reps are amazing, shout out to all of them as they put on soooo many activities all week, from Jenga and darts, to Can Jam and Waterpolo! Must have done 4 or 5 activities and we didn’t do all the fitness stuff! The evening entertainment is more geared for up to 10 year olds, our 11 and 12 year olds spent most evenings playing football with their new friends.
Quiz storm is great fun for all and then the shows by the reps were good, shows but outsiders not so much.

Our room was a two bed family room and it was so big we could have lived there forever! The only thing we didn’t have was a cooker but other than that a small kitchen, double bedroom (massive bed) with en-suite and then a twin room and a separate bathroom.

Food was good. Breakfast was fantastic, lunches and dinners were ok, lots of breads, salads and then main meals. We were always full and never had deserts but they did look great!

The snack bar food was pastries first thing, followed by salad and burgers/hot dog. Then pizzas and kebabs, waffles and pancakes, then more burger hot dogs and pizzas. Plus every day there was chips, then a mix of chicken, fish, meat, meatballs, chicken wings.

The drinks were not the best, beer was ok, and cocktails were great but the spirits were definitely not the greatest! We didn’t try the wine.

The Tavern Resturant was very good and we had so much food which was all amazing.

No getting up early for beds. We were normally one of the first families at the pool about 9/9:15am and always got a bed at the water’s edge. No towels left unattended before 9am and this is enforced. Much better to have a relaxing holiday.

Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and 30th a to the markets!

This was our second time here and it was just as good as we remembered! If we go back to Bulgaria we would definitely go back to this resort.

Thank you for a great week!

So I have been on my fair share of all inclusive family holidays and I can honestly say this one really let me down. We got in late and of course the kitchen had closed at 9 luckily I had bought some sandwiches for the kids. Thought I would message the TUI rep which is apparently 24 hours but oh yeah they don’t reply for five hours so that’s not helpful. We get into the room, no number to call reception no room service. We needed a bed making for my other child I literally nipped out to the cooridoor and grabbed a clean sheet to make her bed myself. Okay then in the toilets, luckily I brought our shampoo and shower gel otherwise there’s nothing! Just a soap bar, no samples absolutely nada! Not even a set of scales. Then in the morning we went for breakfast which was OK as in edible but your standard fry up eggs beans toast pancakes and sausages. Was looking forward to some fresh fruit there was hardly anything. Lunch or snacks weren’t much better. Oh yeah did I mention my bathroom towel for the floor was ripped, nice of the cleaning staff to change it the next day and the pipe was leaking under the sink. So there’s tea and coffee in the room but not even any milk or creamer what if you don’t like black coffee?! The only good thing so far I would say are the kids facilities the kids club is great and the splash pool is good. There’s a park for the kids and of course a gym etc for grown ups which is literally why I booked this place but £3,000 down in a country which is not that expensive anyway for an all inclusive basic resort with a kids club has me feeling a bit let down. But heck still have a week here so going to try and make the most of it! Also check out this burger at the snack bar! Yuuuuuuummm

I could really go to town on this hotel as when we arrived we got put in a room with electrics showing all down the door frame so the children could easily get to them, the room overlooked the busy road and car park reception where busses etc came. When we complained we got no where saying they were fully booked until I showed them a video of the electrics then surprise surprise they found us a room which was a down grade and still overlooked the car park etc.
Tui staff have virtually no control over the hotel staff which is a huge problem.
The hotel definitely isn't 4 stars, the room's are a let down, pool toilet's we're damaged and certain thing's we're just left without repair.
The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the food was good but for how much you pay I'd look elsewhere.
The hotel should be 3stars or max 3 star plus and the price should reflect on that.

We returned here this year after a previous visit in 2019. The hotel in 2019 was good, not amazing, only some minor things but not enough to put us of returning.

The good…

The TUI reps were so good. They work so hard all day and night. They were a credit to TUI.

On both visits we were impressed with the food, there was always something to eat and of decent quality. The breakfasts I thought were especially good. The desserts are the best we have had in any inclusive hotel we have visited with a great selection every day.

The slides and pool were great again, the pool was pretty warm by mid afternoon.

The bad…

Queues! Queues which were not an issue when we visited in 2019. They have removed the self serve of beer (can’t remember if wine was self serve in 2019) from the main pool bar, the queues were sometimes not bad but fairly often the queue was 10-15mins long. The bar queues in the evening were also long, 2 staff was not enough.

The pool bar would also often run out of coffee, coke etc…

Getting a drink in the restaurant was usually a mission. Either the self serve beer or wine would run out or there were no glasses. Again Coke would run out on occasions as well.

The kids club were using an iPad to sign children in however it was much slower leaving adults and children queuing in the heat, it was made worse as they merged the 2 kids clubs to one but only one person signing in.

The hotel is generally pretty clean, the gardens and landscaping is well looked after, but the toilets were not very clean. Broken locks on doors, running out of toilet paper or hand wash.

They for some reason only give you one key, refuse to give a second with out a charge.

Most of the above are little things, but for us most were not issues in 2019. We felt the hotel standard had dropped.

The ugly…

In all the hotels I have ever traveled to, the reception at the Nevis is by far the worst service I have ever had, it’s appalling especially when it’s supposed to be a TUI hotel.

We requested I room in Helen block via email before travelling, we were second to check in, there were 2 flights behind us. On checking in we were given the Kate block, we did mention we requested Helen, they didn’t care.

Obviously not everyone can request rooms but on getting to our room we were very disappointed. The room, especially the bathroom was a lower standard. But the worst was the view, straight out to some flats meaning it was dingy and dark in the room. We politely requested a change the next morning but they kept fobbing us of, the customer service is appalling, they were rude and dismissive. On one interaction the women was just smiling sarcastically at us.

In the end my partner managed to speak to the manager and we were moved, second room was much better but it took a week. We have read the Kate rooms we had were street view promotional rooms, considering we booked in 2020 it was very frustrating.

We just returned 30/05. There was a kettle in our family room. As for the pool towels, you are given towel cards on checking in, which ca be swapped out for fresh towels every day, this being done in the spa reception. Please leave a like vote if helpful
