We booked three rooms for 7 people, one room supposed to have an extra bed (note, BED). At the hotel, we had a few surprizes. Rooms for the couples had twin beds(I think they all do, so hey, that's ok), but the triple room had two beds and one extending chair. All of the rooms were terrible, missing sockets, cables coming out of the wall, wallpaper coming off, water dripping out of the air conditioning(one of them was stuck open, but hey, at least it did its job), doors with missing bits, trouble with locks etc. The rooms we were initially given was beyond terrible, right next to the maids office, ground floor, pool right out of the window, exposed sockets and so on. I complained only to get stuck in a fight with the receptionist who was rude, mocking me and purely not understanding why I was not ok with it. I showed her all the problems and she kept saying "Ei Ei Ei??!!". Told her to drop the attitude but she continued. Asked for the manager, a polite lady who asked of we saw the pictures of the hotel while giving us another room which she tought was worse than the one we got. It was actually a bit bit better. PRO: -Good food, quite a lot -Quiet place and surroundings -Close to the beach -Nice hang out place in the back -Maids service everyday -We personally got free parking, but the hotel has aprox 8 free spots, the rest need to be paid -Nice coffee in the morning Cons: -Rude receptionist, poor english -Bad condition of the rooms -Twin beds(for couples at least) -Small pool -Dirty hallways -No view, we watched the bitum of the hotel entrance the whole 7 days -Bathroom smell -Small Tv -One plug(three if you took out the tv) -No fridge -Small bathroom, no shower dedicated space -Food getting repetitive sometimes(afternoon snack was mostly defrosted pizzas, but it was ok) We had more complaints, but to be fair, this one was "You get what you pay for". The food served washed away the initial anger, tho it wasn't enough. All in all good if you plan on saving money on food and accomodation. Bad if you have expectations. Writing this to be honest and offer a view on the real situation.

For the first night, the room was economy , although we paid for the superior and all inclusive. I forgot a denim skirt in the first room and it disappeared. The cleaning staff visited the room just to throw the garbage and bring paper. You had to ask to change your bedding and clean the bathroom and vacuum the carpet. The food was poor, but the staff in the restaurant was very nice, in fact there were kids, aged 15 -16. The food was sometimes a mixture of crushed vegetables, or chicken and potatoes. Luckily there were salads.

Tired and needs some TLC, It is rough around the edges, there seem to a presence of cleaning staff, I think little more attention to detail is need when clean, although was reasonably clean and tidy. If your expecting a 5 star hotel on low budget, it ain’t happening. Food was average, though could have done with a little more choice, I still managed to have something at all meals times. Breakfast was very poor and very poor choice, can fix the toasting machine, took a least ten means to do toast. Also sometimes food wasn’t very warm, which with buffet style food you expect, a microwave in the restaurant would help with this issue. Rooms ok, though shower is a bit of a joke but again you get what you paid for. Put kettles on the rooms!!!! Overall we would stay here again, it’s perfect for low budget hotel, just don’t expect 5 star. Staff were always polite and helpful. Gave 3, if microwave was in restaurant, more choice of food, and kettle in room would improve that to a 4

The staff are absolutely disappointing , my 15 year old son came up to me and said that one of the staff members cussed at him . That's unacceptable! The hotel is really small they had to put us in the hotel beside "Amaris". They're pool is small and dirty I had my goggles on and I went to swim , on the bottom of the pool was a bandage and lots of sand once I found some glass in it . The food wasn't really good , but the salads are okay. We can't say anything for the rooms but hotel amaris has really nice rooms with a flat screen and a nice shower ,hotel Amaris's house keepers/ janitors are really polite if I got the chance to actually stay in Amaris and not spend my money on a awful hotel like Bohemi.
