Stayed here from 18 Sept for 7 nights. Room was fine with a fridge, air con and a nice balcony with sea view. Maids cleaned every morning. Yes the bathroom was small, but clean and adequate to have a shower. Food wasn't that good, we did eat out a few nights and had breakfast out a few mornings (but that was because we had a lie in). Good bar area and nice outside seating in the garden. Nice private pool with loungers. Staff very friendly and helpful. Supermarket in lobby of hotel was handy and reasonably priced. Great location right on the beach and next to the strip. We enjoyed our stay at the Palace.
Lovely location on beach front , had a sea view room but it was dirty upon arrival, curtains hanging off the rail ,the fridge was full of mould and thd cupboard that housed it the same , rooms outdated , lovely restaurant , but buffet food very poor , cold , burnt , and inedible food, rotting fruit , after a upset stomach along with other guests and wife suffering vomiting we chose to eat out . Hotel was winding down so was the food quality except when staff meal time came round , pool small not enough sunbeds , only oleg the waiter seemed to be friendly, in eleven days our room never got dusted or wet mopped, suggest all guests take photos of any complaints and forward them to the travel agents and log complaints to help other visitors would l stay there again BIG NO
Stayed at this hotel for a week and couldn't wait to go home. Room was not cleaned properly it was not mopped al the time we were there beds not made only sheet folded at bottom of bed even pillows not plumped up . I have travelled for a number of years and even going back 25years ago in Spain the food was better . Food here was cold burnt and swimming greese. Ever one was complaining . Watch people from outside of hotel order of restaurant menu and food looked ok so kitchen must be able to cook. Shower / wet room made everything wet . F loor tiled so really slippery .
Just returned from a 12 night stay at this hotel and can honestly say it wasn't as good as when we first visited in 2016. The positives were that we had booked an apartment and that the room we had was spacious, clean and tidy and the maids did a great job of keeping it that way just as they did three years previous. For us the big letdown was that the evening meals had clearly deteriorated in quality and variety although the breakfasts were just about OK and everyone we spoke to was complaining about this, one couple even mentioned that they approached the manager to voice their concerns only to be given a short abrupt reply "Tough". I'm sorry but if you want to have customers keep returning year after year then that isn't really the right attitude to take is it? It came to the point where we started going out for our evening meals even though we had already gone half board and we wouldn't have had to do this had the food been better. There is a bar about half way down the strip on the left hand side called "The Fat Cat" that did lovely cooked meals and is quite cheap, I recommend the "Shepherds Pie" and "Peppered Steak". As I said though the Palace really needs to take note of people's concerns and up their game or else lose a lot of custom, on a final note, would we go back to this hotel? Probably not, we would look elsewhere.…
We arrived early hours. Got some sleep and got up in the morning out to the balcony The hotel balcony door broke off as soon as I tried to open it. The room is very very basic no hangers for clothes, bathroom is absolutely tiny. The food in the hotel wasn't good didn't enjoy that The grounds of the hotel was nice, pool was nice. Plenty of sun longers Bulgaria itself is absolutely brilliant It's very cheap over there we had a fantastic time. We enjoyed the food in the fat cat which is a restaurant near our hotel
