Hotel Palace is celebrated for its exceptional service, with staff members who consistently deliver friendliness and efficiency, much to the delight of many guests. The hotel's beachfront location is another highlight, offering easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. While the rooms are generally found to be clean, opinions on their size range from adequate to slightly cramped, particularly for families. Evening karaoke events add a lively touch to the hotel's atmosphere, making for memorable entertainment. Despite some calls for enhancements to the pool and guest services, the overall array of amenities, including dining options, is well-regarded. Travelers often consider Hotel Palace a cost-effective choice, boasting commendable food and service, even if some feel the offerings are quite basic for the price. Cleanliness throughout the hotel is a point of pride, although a minority of guests see room for improvement.

So many positives we were greeted by friendly reception staff on arrival. We were offered help with our cases from the minibus to our room which was on the 10th floor
overlooking the pool and beach. the room had kettle with mugs (shop downstairs sells
water and milk run by great people). The rooms have a cooler fridge leave the cupboard door open it runs more efficiently. Free aircon and mini safe. Our safe didnt work they immediately replaced it. Clean towels daily and sheets changed midweek.

Breakfast consisted of pastries/croissants and toast, fresh fruit our favourite chilled slices of oranges. Cooked breakfast and cold cheeses, meats and salad. Teas, coffees and juice from the machines. Dinner was more difficult for my husband although he had soup, pizza, chops and chips. We loved the desserts. We enjoyed our meals out in the garden under the gazebos overlooking the beach followed by drinks at very reasonable prices large beer 3levs and 4 cocktails for 20lev.

Plenty of small supermarkets around as well as pharmacies. Lots of stalls on beach promenade leading up to flower street. Bus on main road turn Right out of shop entrance until you reach main road crossover and for 2levs you can reach the old town well worth a visit.

I feel I'm being generous giving it 3 stars.
I'm quite easy pleased with things but I feel really let down by this hotel.
There is a lot of things I wish I had know before we went.
Firstly, breakfast is only served 8am to 10am.
Dinner is 6pm to 8pm. I feel that these time are very restricting. Especially as the bar plays very loud music until nearly 1am every night. This is another thing I wish I had known. Also the music starts in the bar very early from 9am or earlier. I could hear it from my room with door closed. Had to use the air conditioning to try to drown the noise out a bit.
I think the hotel is more interested in enticing people from the strip to come in. We were made to feel quite uncomfortable if we sat in certain places with the staff coming round about us.
Some staff friendly but I was also disappointed that when we arrived at the hotel late at night after out late flight in that we could not get any food at hotel. Even though it says on website restaurant is open until 23.00.
I was quite disappointed in the food as the main reason we chose this hotel was the people saying the food was good and the photos made it look good. There is quite a limited choice in it too.
The price of the drinks in hotel are good.
We had a double room and it was very small. The bathroom tiny! The cleaner was lovely but unless you have do not disturb sign on door she will come in about 9. Dont expect clean glasses.
To top it all off our air conditioning switched itself off and wouldn't come back on again an hour before check out! I think this was deliberate as it worked fine the rest of the time.
We could not get the sound to work on the TV. There was a kettle in room that sat on top of fridge cupboard but could not plug it in there. There was only 1 safe looking socket in the room. The other socket looked like it was coming loose. I think people are only happy coming here because of the location mostly. The pool is also very small and the usual people who put towels down on the loungers then disappear. I dont think sunny beach was for me anyway. Too loud. Blaring music everywhere you go and people trying to run you over with electric scooters.

Got back a few days ago from a lovely week long holiday at the Hotel Palace. Arrived later than expected due to a flight and luggage delay. Young receptionist was welcoming and showed us to our room but it was too noisy for us so we asked if we could swap to another room, She offered us a room on the second floor that was quieter than the first room we were offered and we were very happy with the new room as it was quieter and had a side sea view. The room was typical of most 3 star hotels we have stayed in and had everything we needed. We were pleased to have a fridge, aircon and a safe in the room included at no extra cost. The room was kept clean daily by a very hardworking cleaner. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. We were not keen on the wet room style bathroom as the floor got quite wet and slippery but we found by standing on the floor towel and turning the shower off whilst lathering up this helped a bit by allowing the water to drain away. Our beds were very comfy and we slept well. The food was plentiful with plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. The gardens are beautiful to sit in for drinks or food. Local lager is cheap but good. The location was perfect for us, we wanted a holiday with sun, sea and sand and this hotel is just across the street from a beautiful beach where we spent most of our time. It is not in the busier part of Sunny Beach which is why we picked it. You could get to the main part of Sunny Beach and the pier on the Noddy train, you just flag it down outside and it takes you to the main centre We did this to catch the water taxi to Nessebar which is a UNESCO heritage site and very beautiful, There are beautiful historic buildings and museums in Nessebar it is well worth a visit. We also used the pool and the sunbeds whilst at Hotel Palace with no issues. I always take beach towels to lie on. I wish that these could have been provided or hired as I find this helpful while on holiday Entertainment is limited to a bar with a karaoke- we enjoyed it but some might want more in the way of entertainment..Our week away went far to quickly, the weather was glorious and we would love to return in the future for a holiday at the Hotel Palace, I will be looking out for a good deal so we can visit you again. Thank you Hotel Palace.

We arrived late as our plane was delayed we were greeted by a man who didn't speak English handed us a room key but didn't tell us when breakfast was the next morning so the next day we missed breakfast and had to pay at a restaurant.

The lift is really old and unsafe as it makes noises and you can feel it swaying we were up the top floor so had no option but to take the lift

The room is as basic as it comes and the air conditioning made a rattling noise when on which given it was above the bed wasn't ideal. The bathroom shower is a wet room which is dangerous as it has no hand rails and the floor is tiled so if you slip or fall you could really hurt yourself and remember to take the toilet roll out when showering not something you should have to think about. We stayed one night and then left and stayed somewhere else for the remainder of our stay but came back for the food as we paid for half board

Food was all dipped in oil to the point it was dripping first night we couldn't eat any of it and went elsewhere. Then there's the guests who empty the buffet lifting the full plates of food to then put it into bin bags yes bin bags to take to go honestly never seen anything like it. And the staff eat the buffet once closed so if you appear twenty minutes before closing be prepared to be growled at by the staff and for them to start removing the buffet before it's closed so they can eat it which given we have paid for it is a complete disgrace . The breakfast was edible as it was pancakes etc. be warned when you go for dinner the staff turn off the hot drinks and orange juice machines so you can only have water which I still don't understand as the machines work as they are on in the morning seems like a way to make money as if you want anything other than water you need to pay for it at the bar. The good thing is they have ice cream cones in the freezer that you can eat at dinner

Smoking never known a hotel to have so many people smoking outdoor areas from lying by the pool you are surrounded with people smoking which when you have travelled with children is disgusting and outside area of the hotel the staff are standing beside you smoking and so are the guests so again you are having to move constantly to avoid it

In conclusion I will not stay here again as the food, room and people smoking it's not suitable for a family

Not sure how this hotel has so many good reviews. I’m not fussy but this is definitely not a 3 star hotel, firstly the front desk couldn’t speak English hardly at all when I was asking if we were able to check in (I don’t expect everyone to speak English but was extremely difficult to speak to any staff members about anything) then when we got to our room all of our plug sockets were hanging off the wall (this is a reoccurring theme it seems throughout the hotel) also our cupboard door was hanging on by 1 join. our towels had holes in them and stains on bedsheets and towels. And the smell from the drainage system when showering is awful, however it is powerful shower (only positive) On our second day I put the plug down in the sink and it would not come back out so we had a sink of water for that night as we was going out, then when I reported it the man at the desk came up and proceeded to show us how to use the safe? Clearly misunderstanding so I tried to show him the plug and he didn’t say anything and walked out. We was both wanting to get showered and go out but didn’t want to use the shower if he was going to come back. 15 minutes pass and I go back down and he is stood smoking outside and only when I asked again did he say he would get a ‘technical man’ to come. He came 10 minutes after and completely removed the plug so we had no plug at all, not a major issue but still. Had same issue as others with air con being temperamental. The cleaner woman was getting on my last nerve walking in nearly every morning when we had do not disturb, absolutely ridiculous I don’t appreciate someone nearly walking in on me naked.
And finally, the food! I can’t comment on the dinner because we never wanted to stay in and eat but because we didn’t have the option of room only and had to have half board with tui we tried breakfast one morning and never again. Fresh fruit was just warm fruit left out and was browned. There was a good selection of cheeses and bread and everything else was just awful, watery beans and snotty eggs.
We only stayed 4 nights so was bareable but I’d never go here again.

Hotel is clean, friendly and relaxed. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels daily.
Room is small but has free air con, fridge, kettle and safe.
Most if not all of the rooms have see view and the pool view rooms get the afternoon sun.
The pool is small and shaded most of the day, you can consume your own drinks and snacks for the pool area and quite surprisingly the hotel bar area.
The food was disappointing, I'm not fussy but struggled to be fed, luckily most nights had pizza.
Lots of restaurants along the beach front all the way to flower street(msin Street).
The hotel is beach fronted easy to find your way home.
Sunny beach in September is quiet and mainly full of older people, the weather isn't the best, lots of places closing for winter.
Finally it's not as cheep as I thought, yes you can hunt down a beer for a pound but you'll pay £3.50 for gin or vodka plus mixer cost and cocktails are about £5.

We spend 7 wonderful nights at the Palace hotel. The location is great - you just have to cross the promenade and you dig your feet in the golden sand of Sunny beach. We had a sea-view room with a stunning view. The room was clean and tidy and it was maintained on a daily basis. The staff is friendly, cheerful and polite. Food was fresh and delicious. The variety of options on the buffet and the a la card menu were plentiful. Free wi-fi and parking was available on site, but you should leave yor car key so they can maneuver the cars in the lot. To summarize we spend a great week in Palace hotel, Sunny beach.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but it is in desperate need of some TLC, the swimming pool and surrounding area around the pool is awful. Broken tiles, dirty, I most definitely would not let a child swim in the baby pool😱
The opening times for the restaurant changed while we were there from eight till 10 am for breakfast to 8 to 9 am . This was too early to go to breakfast when you’re on holiday..
The dinner service changed from 630 to 9 pm to 6 pm to 7 pm, which was also too early to go for dinner for us. The food is very repetitive,But edible most of the time. The lady on reception was probably the most helpful person in the hotel.
Our beds were made every day, and we were given clean towels, I cleaned and swept our room most days, it wasn’t done by the cleaners. The rooms are very small the beds were very comfortable..
all in all sunny beach, and this hotel are not for me .

If you want a large room / bathroom with ample wardrobe/ cupboard space and no smoking in outside areas with table service at meal times. DO NOT GO because the rooms are small but have everything you need kettle, safe mugs all at no extra cost
we went for 10 nights with Balkan holidays who appear to gat the best rooms and room services at no extra cost. on arrival we had been given a room with views to die for , a 11 floor sea view but because my wife hates hights we had to ask for a change. Dobbie on the reception offered us room 216 or wait to the next day to get a low sea view because we had witnessed ques for the lift at the busy times we took room 216 which was ideal for us a short stairs to climb. on settling in we noticed the AC was not working and the safe was missing, after informing Dobbie these issues where corrected within 2 hours. We found this this helpful attitude not only among the 3 daytime reception staff (Dobbie and a man and young lass, cannot remember there names) but al the staff maids, dining room staff all except one lazy ignorant nasty barman even the shop staff who spoke excellent English went out their way to help you. we have been to 4 hotels in sunny beach area, two 3 star and two 4 star hotels but the Palace has the best breakfast by far and the evening meals were good with the best cakes and savouries. As you have read we really enjoyed our stay at the Palace hotel met many pleasant repeat quests and ok its swimming pool is small but we always got a lounger. OK there is better hotels in sunny beach for a lot more money but if you want a spotlessly clean hotel at a decent price book the palace

Where to start!! Most staff going about their job smoking away, absolute disgrace the sunbeds ( dated and filthy)so never used, pool filthy with alge, breakfast ok, evening meal chicken still pink ( only ate there once, and as a few other guests we meet said the same) so we ate out everynight, karaoke just absolutely far to loud if you don't fancy it invading your room there is absolutely nothing you can do about it till it closes at midnight, come on bar manager for god sake, same person sings the same song 4 times each evening and getting worse at every time, and thats the thing!! Repeated singers and songs. It's not advertised as a karaoke hotel so everyone has to listen to it till midnight, loads of people don't want to listen to that we spoke to, pool side rooms and beach front have no choice, ( not sure about the other sides but even where we stayed on the top of hotel you can hear everything, the toilet flushing from next room is a joke, absolutely no space in these room to put your stuff anywhere ( and if 3 in a room you wouldn't even be able to unpack, crazy system, lifts are a joke, waiting ages and that's when it's quiet, all cleaners etc use them as well to put there trollys in, ( most hotels have a service lift) arrive at 3am and cant even get a drink of water!! Or buy some. Not that we even ate after the pink chicken incident again, nothing to say what was actually on the menu each evening, ask behind reception on first night to be told chicken and lots of nice things!!!!! Would suit some people, wasn't asking for a 5 or 4 or 3 star hotel but unfortunately it's a tad lower than that. Some simple tweaks would do, change the loungers, clean the pool area, put a toilet around pool ( thats just the most bizarre thing ever!!) Never seen that in any hotel! Just walk through lobby in your wet trunks!! Staff were ok, some language issues, room so small you can hear next door opening wardrobes etc. No assistance with any for of information on check in, just give you key and said take picture of breakfast times etc on your phone ( just give a printed bit of paper to everyone checking in with the information. Unfortunately for us it's a definite no return visit, it suits some but the vast majority of people I spoke said the same, you get what you pay for and it's cheap, it's that cheap that I'm guessing it's always full so realistically the management or owners won't go that extra mile to sort out those little bits at any great speed, you can tell by the reviews we are all different people, So if you enjoy some of the Worlds worst singers till midnight this is the place for you, and especially if your into listening to the same people repeating the same song every night more than once you will be in karaoke heaven.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. While we respect every guest's opinion, we are quite surprised by your review as it doesn’t reflect the feedback we usually receive. In fact, our hotel is currently ranked number 8 out of 307 in Sunny Beach, which reflects the hard work we put in as a small, family-run, 3-star hotel. To address your concerns: Cleanliness: We maintain strict hygiene standards, especially for the pool and sunbeds, and these areas are regularly cleaned and checked. We’ve always been praised for the care we take in ensuring that our facilities are clean and safe. Food: Our restaurant is appreciated for serving fresh, well-prepared meals, and we regret that your experience was different. Our kitchen staff adheres to food safety regulations, and we take any mention of undercooked food seriously. Karaoke: We understand that not everyone enjoys karaoke, but it is part of the entertainment we provide for guests who seek a lively atmosphere. That said, karaoke finishes at midnight to respect those who prefer peace and quiet. For guests who prefer a quieter stay, we offer rooms away from the pool area where the music is less audible. Rooms and service: We do our best to offer comfortable accommodations within the 3-star hotel category. We apologize if you found the room size smaller than expected. In terms of guest service, we provide all necessary information upon check-in, and we are always happy to assist with any questions. We are always striving to improve, and your feedback is important to us. However, it’s worth noting that many of the details you mentioned don’t align with the majority of our guest reviews. We are proud of our achievements as a small family hotel and will continue working hard to provide the best possible experience to all of our guests. Thank you again for your review, and we’re sorry that we couldn’t meet your expectations. George and Team

I wouldn’t use the money exchange in the hotel. It’s a terrible rate you get much better outside in a crown exchange, they literally all the way down the promenade every 500 yards. Make sure you use a crown exchange.
