One morning at breakfast there was a lady in the restaurant with her toddler son who was having a tantrum. One of the staff who works on the kids animation team entertaining the kids was in having breakfast at the time also and proceeded to get up from his table walk over to beside the lady with the crying child and hurdled abuse at her and her son, making more noise than the child and terrifying not only the people his rage attack was aimed at but also my own children and most likely any other children in the restaurant. Restaurant Manager in this hotel has no people skills whatsoever a basic skill necessary in hospitality industry. A rude and ignorant man. The slides at the kids swimming pool need some maintenance as our kids got a few bad scrapes from them. Adults also smoke openly in and around the kids pool. Jacuzzi’s were freezing cold.

Dear Guests, Thank you for your review and stay with us. We would like to highlight that during the winter time we have done some maintenance work over the slides and there should not be any more issues. Regarding the smoking around the pool area, there are rules and it is guests` responsibility to follow them. Whenever possible, we do our best to acknowledge the guests for them We will review your comments with our Departmental heads and do our best to improve further. Regards, Hotel Management

This was the 2nd year we stayed at this hotel. It is a great hotel and in a great location, close to everything. Very clean. Only thing that let it down this year was the disgusting and undercooked food. For eg..on Saturday evening, half cooked burgers (very pink in the middle & bloody juices) and very undercooked (practically raw) veg was on the menu, breakfast every day was very poor quality, very salty bacon, cut up sausages, no tomato or mushrooms offered, and if you wanted a fried egg, they were carried out on a plate 6 at a time. So you either stood around waiting for them, and hoped that you got 1, or you ate the dried out scrambled egg. And for some reason the fresh fruit on offer was always cut up into small chunks. Food last year was of a much higher quality. Can't believe it is the same chef as last year. If they improved the quality and standard of the food then we would return here. Would recommend this hotel for location etc but definitely NOT the food!!

We are currently staying at Sunny Beach it's been already 8 days and 4 more ahead of us. For me it is my first time in Bulgaria and for what I knew i didn't have any high expectations. However this country surprised me a lot ..the hotel room is average ..depends if you get the room reconstructed or not but it only varies in the styles of bed ..the bathroom remains the same. The food is quite delicious and there is a lot to choose so even if you are staying more days you can find something that fits you. Hotel is situated not very far from the beach ...only 3-5 minutes of walk. 10 leva you pay for the seats and umbrella esch(30l =15e). I have visited Tunisia before and must say here the beaches are much more cleaner however the sea is full of it's own fluora and fauna but one must count with it before travelling here. Also the services around the swimming pool are good. Drinks and snacks (sandwich and ice cream). The center of Sunny is located maybe 10 mns of walk. Promenade is full of shops, restaurants and bars where the prices are surprisingly low(in my own opinion). Right now the hotel is full with families with kids. The animation is on the very low level(since im used for much more active people) but that isn't a fact to judge. At the end I would recommend the hotel for people who don't mind staying in average room but in contrary with good servicies and nice outside pool :)

This place gets a bad review just for being in throwing distance of Hotel Trakia (or because it IS Hotel Trakia trying to conceal it's rubbishy reputation). Hotel Trakia is a flee pit, without sheets on the beds, and mattress so grotty I think I'll pull out my sleeping bag. I'm pretty sure this place is setup for pimps and prostitiutes. A filthy hole! Runway, as far you can - now!
