Situated literally fifty (50) meters away from the beach, “Bora Bora Hotel” is the kind of small, cosy hotels that people would prefer to pick to escape from all the commotion rather than the huge and noisy ones. What there is to offer is a nice escape from the stressed daily routine, a breathtaking scenery - the vast and beautiful Black Sea, a family-friendly, calm and peaceful atmosphere, delicious traditional and continental cuisine served by our chefs at the bistro-restaurant, cold and refreshing drinks carefully prepared by our hard working bartenders. If you're looking for a real vacation to recharge your batteries and create wonderful memories - we're waiting you at Bora Bora Hotel!

Let me start positive, the rooms are spacious and the beds are ok, but although the bed had a sheet and a couple of pillows we had to make the rest of the bed. We then had to make our beds every morning after that. The only times we saw the cleaners was when the staff were having a birthday party. They did come in the room one day when we’re not there and replaced towels and toilet roll I realise this is only a 3 *** but maid service was not good enough and also the two people who look after the bar were not exactly attentive, never asking if we wanted anything or clearing tables unless asked to do so Couple of little things wrong in the rom but once reported to the young girl on reception (Teddie) these were put right unfortunately she left after us only being there 24hours. Breakfast was bland , scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and cold meats, fruit juice and water. Toaster took a while to toast and really needs updating. The so called brand new coffee machine did not get the water hot enough to fuse a tea bag so no tea for breakfast. The pool was freezing although the hotels web site states its heated by solar panels The location of this hotel is perfect for the quietness away from the hustle and bustle, which can be reached by using the small train which runs along the seafront and can be reach by a short walk (4 lev oneway) Loved Bulgaria but would not return to this hotel

Hello, I am sorry to hear about your bad experience. We did indeed had a staff problem this year. Despite our best effords we had no staff to choose from . We are taking action for next year to import staff from abroad. There is usually an extra cettle at the bar for those, who need water even hotter than the coffe machine provides. Toasters will be replaced. Anyways, than you for making your points. We will learn from them.

What to say more? Good food, clean rooms, nice pool and the most important, silence! And some new things: new flat TV, better internet connection (good for outside EU travellers) and most important, new espresso machine at breakfast! Nothing more to say, maybe just "thanks Peter, everything was great, like always!"

Lovely small, quiet hotel. Spotlessly clean. Stu (Stoyan?) & the pretty little receptionist are worth mentioning. They are both so helpful & friendly. If you like a quiet holiday 2mins from beach & 10 min walk/train from all the action, I would highly recommend.

Nice little hotel,at the quiet end of sunny beach.Breakfast is ok,definitely needs a bigger, better toaster.Reception staff are helpful and friendly.rooms are fine.ivo the barman goes out of his way to have a chat and laugh, and play your choice of music.Swimming pool bit chilly.and sun beds do seem to get saved, and fill up quick. but the beach is close by with beds and umbrellas for hire.

A bit disappointed in this hotel. Read the reviews before we went and was really looking forward to staying here. The hotel itself is in a beautiful location and it’s quiet and relaxed. Near the beach which is great. However it wasn’t very well maintained both outside or inside. The maid came to our room most days but she really only left toilet roll and made the bed with the same sheets. Our bathroom had an ant problem and my husband cleaned this daily. The room wasn’t swept never mopped and the towels were changed once. The pool area wasn’t very well kept either with rubbish lying for days. Most people removed their own but for those that didn’t it just lay. Staff were pleasant but a bit work shy. Overall not good.

Sorry you felt this way of your stay. As a 3 star hotel sheets and towels are changed every 4th day. It is true we have understaffing problem this year so the maintaince of the common areas might suffer a bit during the day, but the maids are cleaning the pool area every morning during breakfast time. We'll do our best to better ourselves. Kind rgds

We stayed here for 2 weeks beginning the end of may. We were the only couple in the hotel on arrival. The rooms are basic but clean. Maids in every day/towels and bedding changed every other day. The hotel is at the far north end of sunny beach next to st vlas so you have a good walk down into all the night life or there is small train that goes from the top of strip down into back end of flower street 4lv. Staff are very friendly ( specially Ivor and daniel the barmen). Breakfast is a continental style with fried eggs sausage, beans, cold meats ,cerials, fruit. There is a resteraunt were you can order food and it was very good. All in all great place for couples out the way of the hustle and bussel of the nightlife. Not much for kids talthough they had a pool table and a small playground. I would definitley return again.

Sorry to hear you are disapointed with the breakfast and location? Coffe machine was delivered this year by Nestle / Nescafe. We thought is is major improvement over the boiled coffee we used to serve. All other appliances are in working order as well. You should have tried our a la carte meals :) Still, thank you for your review.

Just returned from staying 1 week here , we had a studio apartment on the 6th floor with a sea view it was ok but could do with some updating, all the staff were friendly but a special mention must go to evo the barman who worked hard and help make a pleasant stay better, the breakfast was continental so don’t expect full English ,overall a nice stay.

The room was a good size, clean and simple. Bed was brand new. Tv which we never watched and a fridge. The food was good, the drink was well priced. The breakfast was okay; you get what you pay for in that respect! The pool was nice, does what it says on the tin. Hotel was located like 20 paces from the beach. About 30 min walk from the main strip which suited us fine. Best bit was the friendly, helpful staff, they were wonderful! Definitely be back :)
